OUR BLESSED LADY'S MESSAGE TODAY: REPENTANCE IN PREPARATION FOR AN ERA OF PEACE (Part 3)

Garabandal, Spain 1961 -1965

In the next decade, Our Blessed Lady appeared to four young girls in Garabandal, Spain with the same message for the Church as that of Amsterdam, but with a much more serious warning for the future of humanity and the Church. This famous warning with the confirming miracle became the hallmarks of the Garabandal message. The message of October 18, 1961 spoke of an impending chastisement if mankind did not repent:

"We must make many sacrifices, perform much penance, and visit the Blessed Sacrament frequently. But first, we must lead good lives. If we do not, a chastisement will befall us. The cup is already filling up and if we do not change, a very great chastisement will come upon us."

A further warning came on June 18, 1965:

"As my message of October 18 has not been complied with and has not been made known to the world, I am advising you that this is the last one.
Before the cup is filling up. Now it is flowing over. Many cardinals, many bishops and many priests are on the road to perdition and are taking many souls with them. Less and less importance is being given to the Eucharist.
You should turn the wrath of God away from yourselves by your efforts. If you ask His forgiveness with sincere hearts, He will pardon you. I, your Mother, through the intercession of Saint Michael the Archangel, ask you to amend your lives.
You are now receiving the last warnings. I love you very much and do not want your condemnation. Pray to us with sincerity and we will grant your requests. You should make more sacrifices. Think about the passion of Jesus."

These most serious warnings along with the [prophesized] "Warning which comes directly from God and will be visible to the whole world and from any place where anyone may happen to be. It will be like the revelation of our sins and will be seen and felt by everyone, believer and unbeliever alike, irrespective of whatever religion he may belong to. It will be seen and felt in all parts of the world and by every person."
Following the Warning there will be the revelation of a great miracle in the pines of Garabandal, for the world needs it . . . And then a great Sign will be left there, a proof of the existence of God, that will be able to be seen, photographed and televised, but it will not be able to be touched. It will appear clearly that it is not something of this world, but of God."

(To be continued)

Garabandal is not condemned, but in the category #2, according to canon law: 'It is not certain that it is of supernatural origin.' Bishop del Val has given permission to Conchita (the main seer) to speak publicly, once for the BBC documentary 'Garabandal' and a second time on Irish television. In 1987 Bishop del Val lifted restrictions on priests going to Garabandal and permitted them to celebrate Mass in the village church. The faithful are permitted to learn about and visit the apparition site provided there is no violation of Faith and Morals. Keeping in mind that many Saints, including St. Pio and the writings of St. Faustina were at one time under interdict, we await the Great Miracle "so that all will believe!" [deacon John]
