A REFLECTION

On this Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven it just happens that tonight's reflection on Message 55 is dated August 15, 1974. It is titled: 'In Heaven to Be More a Mother.'

Our Lady starts off Her Message with: "All Paradise exalts and the Most Holy Trinity rejoices." Why? Because Their masterpiece of creation has come home to eternity filled with the light of God. And now, even with Her body united with Her soul in Heaven, She can be the best Mother for everyone.

I say this because on earth Mary was limited by time and space on who She could mother to. In eternity, there is no time and She has all the space She wants for mothering us. Because Our Lady is in the bosom of the Trinity, She can see each and every one of our souls, and I believe especially when we pray and ask Her help. Mediatrix of all graces, She can reach out and grant us our desires, temporal and spiritual. Advocate, She can plead our cause before the throne of Almighty God. And as co-Redemptrix, She sits at the right hand of Jesus, Her Son and Saviour, obtaining salvation for our souls. What a great Mother we have!

One last thing Our Lady says is to continue to walk the road of abandonment and do not be afraid; She is leading us by the hand and clasping us to Her Heart, and we will be the instruments chosen by Her to spread Her Marian Movement!
