ANNOUNCING

Radio WAVE ©
Radio WAVE ©

And Its First Broadcast

“Remember
When
It
Rained”

WE ARE VERY EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE to you the beginning of a Medjugorje radio station through mej.com. Six years in the making, Radio WAVETM will connect Medjugorje devotees, through Medjugorje talk radio, productions, and other broadcasts. This exciting new concept to the Medjugorje movement will provide coverage of what is happening with Our Lady, Medjugorje, and connect you with others. Extensive phone capabilities will enable you to call in toll free across the continental United States, and toll free from most western European countries and the United Kingdom. Other countries will be added to the toll free capability in the next months. You can call to talk, ask questions, or to speak to special guests and hear live interviews from Medjugorje. The goal of Radio WAVETM is to help encourage and strengthen you by being more intimately connected to Our Lady's plans for the conversion of the entire world.

Many have relayed that it's hard to stay enthusiastic about Medjugorje. Others complain that they know few people who know about Medjugorje and are all alone.

We live in a world which is structured in such a way, which does not allow the voice of Our Lady through Medjugorje to compete. Many, therefore, are not able to connect with others of the same sentiments who want continued conversion. That can now change with Radio WAVETM.

From “Special Reports”, to applying Our Lady's messages to the issues of our day, Radio WAVETM will fill the void for those who are thirsting for the way of Our Lady, and how to transform their life into the peace Our Lady is showing us how to achieve.

After 5 months of construction, Caritas' new studio is finished and up and running. With God's grace, Medjugorje's message can be more accessible that ever before to the multitudes.

The following, regarding Radio WAVETM and “Remember When It Rained”, is a letter sent to those who participate actively in helping Caritas' project to spread Our Lady's messages.

Remember When it Rained?…

Where were you on August 5, 2005?
Were you in the Field at Caritas?
Do you remember that Special Rosary?
Do you remember the extreme heat?
Do you remember the clouds moving in?
Do you remember the incredible wind?
Do you remember the rain?
The Thunder and Lightning?
Do You Remember the Hail?
Do You Remember the Pure Joy
of being present with Our Lady
in the Field on Her Birthday?

Medjugorje

August 28, 2007

Dear Friends of Our Lady,

After two years of waiting, we are now ready to experience once again that incredible day when thousands gathered together in the Field to celebrate Our Lady’s 2021st birthday.

If you remember…the anticipation was building each day throughout the five-day celebration. Flowers and special petitions were presented at Our Lady’s feet in the Field each day at Rosary. Our Lady was praying over everyone, giving Her blessing to everyone present, listening to all the intentions of our hearts, and carrying them back to Heaven to present to Our Heavenly Father. Upon hearing the bells ring on the hour, everyone would drop to their knees, praying three Hail Mary’s for Our Lady’s intentions. Long lines waited for confession throughout the five days. Many were fasting for three days leading up to Her birthday. Offerings were made for candles, which were lit in memory of loved ones, or special intentions that would be used to light up Our Lady’s special house. It was a beautiful eve of Her birthday spent in the Field as we all gathered before the house that was built, representing the home Our Lady was born in. It was shining brightly with 2021 candles lighting up each room of the house, adding a beautiful glow to the night sky. We gathered with thousands to pray a special Rosary called the Marian Mysteries for Our Lady. People came up to leave their petitions and promises to live a sinless day on August 5th, as a special birthday gift for Our Lady. Not wanting the evening to end, many spent the night in the Field.

Then…August 5th, 2005, the day we had been preparing for in so many ways. The anticipation and joy was overwhelming as people gathered in the Field for Rosary & Apparition. Then came from Heaven the spectacular show given as a thank you for all the love, prayers and sacrifices that had been offered. Our Lady poured Her graces onto everyone gathered in the Field, and all those present in spirit, as well as all the loved ones carried in hearts presented to Our Lady.

Now… on September 8th , 2007, after two years in the making, with eyewitness testimonies that have been shared, Caritas will premiere this brand new production to the world. For the first time ever, “Radio WAVE™ (Worldwide AVE™)” will be aired live through mej.com, and broadcast “Remember When it Rained,” the story of August 5th, 2005. Two “Firsts” for the Medjugorje movement! The Inaugural beginning of Radio WAVE™ and the world premiere broadcast of “Remember When it Rained.”

We are asking you to invite as many people as possible to gather together to celebrate the Church’s designated day to honor Our Lady’s birthday, Saturday, September 8th. Schedule a nice meal or potluck dinner and birthday cake with your family & friends. If you have a priest that you know, celebrate a home Mass before the premiere audio broadcast, and follow with the Marian Mysteries of the Rosary to set the tone for the premiere. Find a peaceful place with an excellent sound system, dim the lights, hush the children and be in prayer, ready to experience that miraculous day again. You will need high-speed internet and Adobe Flash Player Version 9 to be able to participate in this event. You can check mej.com a few days before September 8th and click to have Adobe Flash Player Version 9 installed for free. On September 8th, go to mej.com in union with the Community of Caritas for its first presentation of this release, plus the first broadcast of many for Radio WAVE™. The audio production will begin on mej.com at 7:00 p.m. CST, Saturday, September 8th, and afterwards the phone lines will be opened, not only nationally, but internationally for a further two hours of Medjugorje Talk Radio for those of you who were present to call in live. The toll-free number to call in will be 1-888-672-WAVE (9283). This number will only be activated while on the air. If you wish to talk to someone before September 8th, you can call 205-672-2000.

This presentation will bring to life that very special day, even if you weren’t here personally. Anyone, and especially those who share a love for Our Lady, will be moved by hearing the docu-drama and testimony of this special event. We, in Community, have been and will be in prayer for this special event, and we ask that you add the words, “for Our Lady’s intentions for September 8th” to every prayer you are offering in these days preceding the preview.

In Summary…

1.) If you don’t have high speed internet in your home, make sure you have a location established which has high-speed internet. Adobe Flash Player Version 9 is also needed. You can go to mej.com a few days before September 8th and click to install Adobe Flash Player Version 9 for free.

2.) Be sure that the sound system you will be using is sufficient for sound quality. Do not rely on lap top computer speakers. Try to have something with better quality, along the lines of a home entertainment sound system. If you or no one you know has this capability, you could always rent a system from a store such as a Party type Rental Store, (if renting, try something similar to a BOSE system with a bass module, but this will have to be tied to a computer. A friend can help if you don’t know how to do it). Years of experience has shown us that the better quality the production, the more spiritual impact that comes from it. There’s nothing worse than straining to hear something important and missing out on something when someone moves, coughs, etc.

3.) Establish your schedule. Depending on your time zone, you may use some of the suggested schedules below. It is important to have prayer before listening to this audio premiere. Do not think of this as merely a get-together to hear a story. Depending on the prayer before it, this production has the ability to move and convert hearts. Prayer beforehand is very important. Remember that for a normal day Our Lady asks for 4 hours of prayer, saying that it is only a sixth of your day. Think of this evening as a Medjugorje retreat, and the grace that will come from it will be the fruit. The production is just under one hour long, and the Marian Mysteries of the Rosary takes about 45 minutes to pray.

If you are in the Eastern Time Zone: “Remember When it Rained,” and the launching of Radio WAVE™ will premiere on mej.com at 8:00 p.m. with a two hour Medjugorje talk show afterwards, so you may choose to have a Pot Luck dinner (1 hour), and then the Marian Mysteries (45-60 minutes) and Mass preceding the production, (45-60 minutes). Allowing an hour for each gives time to move from one scheduled event to another.

If you are in the Central Time Zone: “Remember When it Rained,” and the launching of Radio WAVE™ will premiere on mej.com at 7:00 p.m. with a two hour Medjugorje talk show afterwards, so you may choose to have a Pot Luck dinner (1 hour) and then the Marian Mysteries (45-60 minutes) and Mass preceding the production (45-60 minutes). Allowing an hour for each gives time to move from one scheduled event to another.

If you are in the Mountain Time Zone: “Remember When it Rained,” and the launching of Radio WAVE™ will premiere on mej.com at 6:00 p.m. with a two hour Medjugorje talk show afterwards, so you may choose to pray the Marian Mysteries of the Rosary (45-60 minutes) followed by a home Mass (45-60 minutes) preceding the audio production and Medjugorje talk show. After the talk show, you can end with a Pot Luck dinner at 9:00 p.m. Allowing an hour for each gives time to move from one scheduled event to another.

If you are in the Pacific Time Zone: “Remember When it Rained,” and the launching of Radio WAVE™ will premiere on mej.com at 5:00 p.m. with a two hour Medjugorje talk show afterwards, so you may choose to pray the Marian Mysteries of the Rosary (45-60 minutes) followed by a home Mass (45-60 minutes) preceding the audio production and Medjugorje talk show. After the talk show, you can end with a Pot Luck dinner at 8:00 p.m. Allowing an hour for each gives time to move from one scheduled event to another.

Call 205-672-2000 now or fax 205-672-9667 if you have any further questions. Once you begin to get this event organized in your area, we can send you flyers to promote it and/or prayer cards with the Marian Mysteries of the Rosary. Thank you again for all that you do for Our Lady…this is just one more powerful tool that we pray Our Lady blesses to bring about needed conversion. Do not feel that you have to have only Medjugorje people present for it or only people with a Marian devotion. The story was written to unfold to anyone, no matter where they are spiritually. You remain in our prayers.

In the Love of Our Lady,
A Friend of Medjugorje

The following excerpt is taken from the Medjugorje Headline entitled “Who is Behind mej.com?”

Mej.com started off as a project called Project Wave. Five individuals, with a support group of 25 individuals, for three months, moved into a large Florida beach home on the ocean at St. Joseph’s Bay to pray, think-tank, and evolve a Medjugorje website in a way that has not been conceived. The founder of Caritas, known as a Friend of Medjugorje, is spear-heading the project, with many plans for its future. Project WaveTM was its code name while work quietly went on behind the scenes for the last 5 years, conceptualizing what the site’s purpose and function would be, in addition to a great deal of preprogramming. Project Wave TM stands for ‘W’orldwide ‘AVE’ – hence the word W-AVE because its mission and purpose is to make available Our Lady’s messages and Her guidance towards a way of life, while at the same time covering the events of Medjugorje as it unfolds, especially making Medjugorje available to avenues not yet reached worldwide, as a wave sweeps the world.

Praying everyday at the oceanside and watching the ocean waves gave a wealth of thoughtful reflection of what Our Lady would want through Project Wave. Project Wave began construction Jan. – March, 2004, and went quietly online on June 25, 2006. The first month of official operations for the new website was September 2006.

Radio WAVE™ will broadcast from its brand new studio at Caritas with the possibility to reach anyone in the world! WAVE meaning “Worldwide-AVE” “Radio W-AVE™.”

Caritas’ first broadcast worldwide will be the evening of Saturday Sept. 8, 2007, the day the Church honors the Blessed Virgin Mary’s Birthday. The very first broadcast will premiere “Remember When it Rained” an audio docu-drama of the event of the first public celebration in the world of Our Lady’s Aug. 5th, 2021st birthday in 2005. The production was two years in the making. For details on this Sept. 8 inaugural and to learn what you can do that Saturday night call: 205-672-2000 ext. 380.
