A REFLECTION

Message # 80 is titled, 'Little to Others, Great to Me.'

Our Lady says that She choose Fr. Gobbi because of his littleness, his poverty, and that Jesus loves especially the small, the pure of heart, the simple. Are we like that? Mary says Be ever thus! Never look at yourself! Jesus loves us for ourselves with all our faults. He loves us just as we are!

Mother Mary loves us as we are too, but we have to strive to correct them, She says. This also makes us humble, little, and brings us closer to Our Lady. We must not fear that we cannot live up to what Mother Mary is proposing to us. Our humility, trust and goodwill is all She asks!

Our Lady says that She is forming a cohort of priests who, perhaps will never be perfect, but they certainly will be Hers! And the perfection She will build in them will be interior, hidden; they will be little to others, and even persecuted by many, but they will be great in the eyes of Our Lady and full of Her joy!

Let us offer Our Lady the flowers of our virtues in gratitude and thanksgiving for all She has done for us, and as we strive to do better with our spiritual life, She will bless us abundantly with Her Motherly blessings!
