Mary Vitamin for May 13th
Topic: Fatima and Our Lady's School

Quote:
St. Louis de Montfort
"We advance more in a brief period of submission to Mary and dependence on her than in whole years of self-will and self reliance."

Meditation:
Father de Marchi reflects on the power of Our Lady's presence upon  the visionary children at Fatima.
"However, the true Spiritual Director of the [Fatima] children was doubtless the Blessed Virgin in person. She herself supervised the master work which she had taken in hand and carried it to a successful conclusion. From her powerful hands came three angels clothed in flesh angels and authentic heroes. The raw material was of an admirable plasticity and of the artist, what can we say? In her school the three little village children were in a short time to take giant steps on the road to perfection."
Father de Marchi, Fatima From the Beginning, 170.

Resolution:
The two great lessons of Our Lady from the apparitions at Fatima are the daily Rosary and the habit of offering of sacrifices to God by saying:
For the love of God, for the conversion of sinners and for the sins against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Today I will accept a sacrifice that comes my way with the words of Our Lady so that I may participate in her school of holiness.
Marian Vow:
With the Marian vow, Our Lady Herself takes me by the hand and leads me in the ways of Her school.
"Let us keep well in mind: unlimited consecration to the Immaculate sanctifies in a manner more rapid and perfect if lived with a commitment to serious, constant, daily examination, a help to understand ever more and to live in a continual ascent to marianization." #49 Marian Seraphic Pathways

I give this resolution to the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Thanks be to God for graces received.
