SCRIPTURE COMMENTARY #624

And behold, Jesus met them, saying: "All hail." But they came up and took hold of his feet and adored him. Then Jesus said to them: "Fear not. Go, tell my brethren that they go into Galilee. There they shall see me." (Matt. 28:9-10)

THE DISCIPLES OF JESUS WERE BY NO MEANS CREDULOUS: On the contrary they refused at first to believe in our Lord's Resurrection, in spite of His having appeared to the holy women.

Forsake Me Not When My Strength Is Spent

In you, O Lord, do I take refuge;
let me never be put to shame!
In your righteousness deliver me and rescue me;
incline your ear to me, and save me!

Be to me a rock of refuge,
to which I may continually come;
you have given the command to save me,
for you are my rock and my fortress.

Rescue me, O my God, from the hand of the wicked,
