To Focus on Self Is Not of Me

The self is the enemy. When people promote themselves, they cease to be of Me. A person fixed in Me is selfless and unattached. The more you tend toward selflessness, the greater your union with Me. No man who is caught up in himself and his achievements is of Me.
Only as you lend yourself to My work, only as you give freely of yourself and come to Me, will you be made My mighty warrior.
The more you are focused on self, the more the devil plays on your ego. To promote yourself is not to promote Me!
A person fixed in My work denies the self and operates in humbleness. A person fixed in My work receives his answers from Me in front of the tabernacle. You cannot be of Me and be controlling. You do not control when I am operating you.
My ways are steadfast and direct. Your actions are rooted in your ardent love for Me, not promotion of yourself.
I am the Way. I am the Truth. I am the Life. He who abides in Me will have the light of life.
