Love God, Love One Another: "Help Me to Carry My Crosses Without Complaint" by Rita Ring, June 1, 1994

Help Me to Carry My Crosses Without Complaint

God's Blue Book III Cover

June 1, 1994

R. Do I complain? Do I take my troubles to Jesus and show you His love? Is it not my job here to love? Why do I need to tell you my sorrow? Is it not given as a gift from my Beloved One to draw me closer to His arms? When I burden you with my sorrow, I miss the opportunity to share it with Him Who truly cares and knows exactly what I feel.

Oh, Jesus, impart to me a new heart, a heart filled with such love for my brothers as not to laden them with my cares, but to give them Your love. Let me have the strength to carry each load You give me as You carried Your cross on Calvary without complaint.

Let me walk my walk with You and give Your love to all those I meet. Oh, Jesus, You are so loving, to love me in all my imperfections, to want me in all my moods and always to be there with outstretched arms, waiting for me. Help me to carry my crosses with Your joy. I love You, my Savior.
