Lightening Strikes Again

Hi Friends, Just a note to let you know we are OK here in Central Florida as a nasty storm came by last night about 8pm. We lost our electricity for a few hours but what was worse for me was the lightening took out my wireless modem and I was not able to get back on to the Internet until now. My base computer had already stopped working earlier this week and I only had my old Acer laptop to get on line with. I bought a new Belkin Wireless router at Walmart today but it took a few hours to hook it up. As a matter of fact, I

just got off the phone with India, Belkin's out-source technicians who were more confusing than I was about installing the unit. Finally, after 3 hours of being on the phone, we got the thing to work. Now I have to wait for Dell to send their technician here to fix my new computer which will not boot up. The storm also fried my daughter Ann's TV, so she went out and had to buy a new one too! Until the next storm, we hope to stay on line and continue sending out news and views!
