Pray for the Holy Souls

All Soul's DayDear Family of Mary!"Dear children! Today I wish to call you to pray daily for the souls in purgatory. For
every soul, prayer and grace is necessary to reach God and the love of God. By doing this, dear children, you obtain new intercessors who will help you in life to realize that all the earthly things are not important for you, that only Heaven is that for which it is necessary to strive. Therefore, dear children, pray without ceasing that you may be able to help yourselves and the others to whom your prayers will bring joy. Thank you for having responded to my call."
(November 6, 1986)From this beautiful day - All Soul's day - forward, may we remember to pray for the souls in purgatory, as Our Lady advises. Here are two prayers for the souls that are included in the book, Prayers in the Presence of Our Lord for the Holy Souls in Purgatory, by Susan Tassone. Susan has written many books that lead us in prayer for the Holy Souls! She is a one man army for the souls! O Mother of Sorrows, O Queen of Martyrs, for the love of Jesus who died for us upon the cross, do thou with thy powerful prayers give help also to us, who are in danger not only of falling into purgatory, but even of losing ourselves forever. O Mary, our dear Mother, Mother of Grace, Mother of Mercy, have pity on us.O Eternal Father, through the most precious Blood of Jesus, and through the most bitter dolors of Mary, have pity and mercy upon the holy souls in purgatory.
