Early Monday evening November 1st, many pilgrims gathered at the Blue Cross to pray in preparation for the Second of the Month Apparition to Mirjana. It was a warm evening, and many people came to pray the Rosary followed by Litanies to the Saints. There were Croatian, Italian, English, and Polish prayers heard at different times during the night. Many young people gathered to sing and pray before the statue of Our Lady at the Blue Cross.

As the early morning was mixed with clouds and clear sky, it looked as if rain could occur. Showers did come and lasted only a few minutes. One had just enough time to put on a poncho, or put up an umbrella. The wet weather continued as Mirjana arrived.

Mirjana knelt in front of the statue of Our Lady Queen of Peace. She made the Sign of the Cross and began to pray. Our Lady’s arrival was apparent by the expression on Mirjana’s smiling face. She soon moved her hands apart with her palms facing inward and then together as if in serious prayer. She squinted her eyes as if to focus better on what Our Lady was telling her.

Mirjana closed her hands, that were wrapped with her rosary, together and continued to seriously look at Our Lady. Pilgrims continued to arrive up to apparition time, which lasted close to five minutes.

The rain began again, and the descent from the Blue Cross became difficult as the pilgrims carefully stepped over the smooth, slippery stones that are worn by so many feet during these 29 years of apparitions. Crowds of people clogged the path to the street and large numbers walked through the vineyards and fields toward the Church.

“Dear children! With Motherly perseverance and love I am bringing you the light of life to destroy the darkness of death in you. Do not reject me, my children. Stop and look within yourselves and see how sinful you are. Be aware of your sins and pray for forgiveness. My children, you do not desire to accept that you are weak and little, but you can be strong and great by doing God’s will. Give me your cleansed hearts that I may illuminate them with the light of life, my Son. Thank You.”

 
Consequences of Rejecting Our Lady

We all know morally the world is bankrupt. The financial institutions commit the crime of usury. The economic system is programmed to chase money causing the love of money for even those who do not realize their longing for it and the amount of time and effort they spend in pursuit of it. Scripture says, “No one can serve two masters. For either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other.” Whichever one you love, money or God, is the one you spend the most time pursuing. The system traps the earth’s inhabitants in spending the priority of their time in pursuing money and material things. But you respond, “Life is geared around our need for money.” This is why Our Lady comes and says She wants to illuminate your heart with light. Our Lady wants you to see what you cannot see at this moment. What can we not see?

 

The economic system that the world has integrated itself to and enslaved itself under drives this present darkness. To join the European union, governments receive a lot of money. To get a lot of money, the new members must accept abortion, abominable life styles and many other things orchestrated by the father of darkness. States in the United States, in order to receive money, must comply with federal regulations which force every institution to come under darkness even down to kindergarten classes in which the curriculum of books propagate both subtle and blatant darkness that would have scandalized even public sinners who lived 100 years ago.

 

We participate in a system covered in every respect with darkness. This darkness is so subtle that often man is unaware it is a part of him. Our Lady tells us: Stop! Can you just stop for a moment and look at yourself? What you are doing? What you participate in on a daily basis and how sinful it makes you? Our Lady, therefore, comes to change us. To change us means to change everything all around us. To change all that is around us means that which is darkness will thereby fall apart by ‘abandonment.’ That which does not will be finished off by the secrets. Don’t you see, O man? Life as we’ve known it, as we have built it, as we have structured it is about to be destroyed. The culture will die, becoming a past civilization. Yet, you stand there “weak and little” because you do not contemplate, or if you do, you do not take action to change not only your soul, but the physical way you live and are enslaved to. To put it plainly, the present order is on the brink of being destroyed. All life as we know it will change. If you refuse, if you delay and hesitate in this time of grace, if you wait around for a rescue from the present system of the world’s way, you will be destroyed and left destitute through its direction.
 

 

That new life which comes is a life where our daily pursuit, our effort in every part of our day will be to seek first, as our priority, the Kingdom of God. By doing this, we will become “strong and great.” Because by seeking the Kingdom of God, we will follow God’s will and it is God’s will that His people be a great people and that His enemies be weak and small. Ancient Israel’s history shows this principle. The early Church and the times when the Church flourished showed this strength throughout the centuries. When Israel or the Christian culture rejected God by following their own desires, rather than seeking God’s Kingdom, they became weak and little and they imploded by their own path of misery chosen.
 

 

When darkness is in the heart of man, darkness begins to prevail in the culture. When culture is filled with darkness, it seeps into every institution, every law, the government and economy. Once darkness permeates every institution it takes on a power of its own and then begins to control every aspect of life. It then enslaves the culture. This includes the greatest institution, the institution of the family. Man becomes powerless until he realizes it’s the darkness within his own heart that he must be cleansed from and that must be destroyed. When as an individual he does this, one to the next, the culture will follow. The power of darkness which from man’s heart grew into its own being, is now a powerful force lording over culture, and has now enslaved it. Man is now too weak to oppose it. But it is beginning to lose its grip upon man, one man at a time. It is then that the darkness, the ultra power which has grown into a monster in and of itself can no longer be fed from man’s heart and therefore be destroyed, breaking with it the bonds of slavery that shackled the culture. This present way of life of the world is on death row. It has received its death sentence. You can receive a reprieve from Our Lady and escape this sentence. Those that refuse to cleanse their heart will be destroyed with this present culture.

 

Now is the time of decision. Now is the time to get ready. Now is the time when Our Lady said:

This world is not going to continue as we know it. Do you understand what was just written? This world is not going to continue as we know it. Do you understand that your money, politics, power, influence will be useless? The world filled with this present darkness is about to be destroyed. Why? Because it is filled with darkness and the Light of Life is coming to illuminate every heart. The natural result is darkness will be gone in regards to the culture, for when there is light, there is no darkness. Yes, on a sunny day you can see darkness in the shadow of trees and the world will always have some darkness, but it will no longer be the driving force. Rather, he, man, will be driven by first seeking the Kingdom of God “and all things will be given you besides.” In this time of grace, you can do this now. You can make a decision now. You can live what the future will be now. It is Our Lady’s way for you. Our Lady asked for a community to be established here in Alabama. The community She asked for in 1988 is a window of the future. It came to be through a ‘yes’ given to Our Lady. Our Lady then birthed it. It thrives through first seeking the Kingdom of God. This time is an opportunity for you. If you don’t pray, do not choose to change your direction now, you will be attached to the darkness which is ordained to soon be destroyed and eventually everything around it.
 

 

Your method is simple but difficult. Give your heart to Our Lady Queen of Peace and follow Her messages of Medjugorje. She wants to purify and cleanse it. Our Lady will illuminate what you are to do. But remember, as Our Lady says, “…be aware of your sins…” and how sinful you are means to understand what darkness is.

 

* Do you participate in usury?
* Do you accept abominable lifestyles?
* Do you not accept but tolerate abominable lifestyles as a choice that others can make?
* Do you accept that others have a choice to decide for abortion even if you do not believe it right personally?
* Do you accept the dissolution of marriage through divorce?
* Do you not accept it but tolerate it throughout the culture, in your own or extended family or friends?
* Have you ever recommended or supported divorce?
 
 

This list can go on for many pages. A yes to any one of these questions places you in the context of what Our Lady is saying today. “Do not reject me, my children. Stop and look within yourselves and see how sinful you are. Be aware of your sins and pray for forgiveness.” Our Lady comes today because man is weak and little. Yet, man thinks he is strong and great. Man is going to be shown how weak and little he is. Only if man can become aware of the darkness is his heart, seek and do God’s will, can he then become strong and great. Allow Our Lady to cleanse your heart. Seek and do God’s will and then you can become strong and great. You have an opportunity, unprecedented in Christendom, to be guided directly by the “Mother of Christ” who will persevere with Her love to save you.

 

May 16, 1987

“Dear children, when God calls men, it is really a great thing. Think about how it would be sad to let pass those opportunities that God allows without taking them. So do not wait for tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. Say ‘yes!’ to Jesus now! And may this ‘yes!’ be forever."

In the Love of Our Lady,

 

Early morning in Medjugorje, November 2, 2010, as crowds await Mirjana’s appearance and Our Lady’s apparition. Cross Mountain can be seen in the background, and in the foreground is the base of the Blue Cross and Our Lady’s statue where Our Lady will appear in a few hours to Medjugorje visionary, Mirjana. Though typically November is a quieter month in Medjugorje, with the feasts of All Saints and All Souls, great hordes of pilgrims entered the village over the past few days. To get into the inner circle by the Blue Cross to have the chance to see Mirjana’s face for the apparition, people now arrive the evening before. Caritas community members with some of their pilgrim group arrived at the Blue Cross at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st for Our Lady’s November 2nd apparition that took place at approximately 8:40 a.m. this morning. They were together with several hundred other people, the numbers of which continued to increase more and more every hour. They settled down for what seemed would be a rainy night. However, the temperature was mild and though rain did come, it was intermittent and mostly just sprinkles.

Mirjana has just arrived the morning of November 2, 2010. Her husband Marco, to the right of the photo, holds rosaries in his hand for Our Lady’s blessing. Every apparition Our Lady blesses religious articles. Over the past 29 years tens of millions of blessed objects, rosaries, medals, statues, and pictures have left the village of Medjugorje and brought to every corner of the earth. What does this blessing mean not just to the people who carry these priceless treasures, but to the earth itself that must also be sanctified wherever these articles pass? A touch of Our Lady sent all over the globe that the devil cannot prevent. Our Lady has spoken of the importance of wearing blessed objects and having blessed objects in our homes.

"… I call you to place more blessed objects in your homes and call everyone to put some blessed object on yourself. Bless all the objects and thus satan will attack you less because you will have armor against him…"

 

 

Before Our Lady’s apparition today, November 2, 2010, Mirjana enters into prayer, signaling all those around her to also ready themselves, quiet their hearts, to receive their Mother. From the inner circle, this quietness spreads to the very outer rim of the tens of thousands gathered. This happens quickly, in just a matter of minute or two, at the most. It can be difficult at that moment—in the cold, in the rain, on rocky ground, packed tightly together—to free the spirit from the groaning of the flesh, but Our Lady’s presence when She comes, at least for those brief moments, has some power to overcome human nature and souls are pierced with Her love, Her strength, Her healing. There is a “knowing” amongst those gathered, that their Mother is truly among them.

Our Lady came with the rain, today, as umbrellas popped open just as Mirjana’s head came up in a smile to signify that the apparition had begun. Could we say the rain was the tears of Our Lady, after reading Her message today? Italian mystic, Maria Valtorta, was shown in the life of Jesus, that after He was taken down from the cross, the only washing His body received was through the tears of His Mother. Mary washed Her Son’s body with Her tears, cleaning the blood, dirt, spit, and the foul matter thrown at Him on the way to Calvary—all this that our sins caused Him. Let Our Lady’s tears, then cleanse us as well—so that our hearts darkened with sin, may become lanterns of light illuminating Her Son to the world.

Mirjana spreads her arms out to Our Lady in what is her normal way of greeting Our Lady in her second of the month apparitions. One wonders if Mirjana has seen this gesture from Our Lady before. Was this humble gesture the same one Mary used when the Angel Gabriel appeared to her announcing that She would bear the Savior of the world?

Our Lady’s departure is captured on Mirjana’s face, yet again. Can we not put Mirjana’s face in the crowd the day of Jesus’ ascension and capture a little bit the wonderment, mixed with sadness, of His departure? Can we not meditate a little on the great gift that is ours in knowing that though Our Lady has departed on this day, November 2, 2010, that She still will come tomorrow to Marija & Ivan & to Vicka to bless the world. That Jakov will see Her on Christmas Day and Ivanka on June 25th. That Mirjana will see Her again next month on December 2nd and receive a new message. That Marija will be given a message on November 25th—and so on, and on. Yes, one day these apparitions will end. But for today, Our Lady is still with us. Let us rejoice and be glad.
