St. James Cathedral [Diocese of Orlando] dedication on Saturday Nov. 20th.

Archbishop Thomas Wenski and Bishop-Designate John Noonan will head Catholic dignitaries for the dedication of the restored St. James Catholic Cathedral at 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 20.

The dedication culminates the 18-month renovation, restoration and refurbishment of the Cathedral church in the Diocese of Orlando, 215 N. Orange Ave. in downtown Orlando. The dedication will be a multi-cultural celebration reflecting the St. James Cathedral community and the diversity of the Diocese of Orlando.

During the dedication, Archbishop Wenski will bless the Baptismal Font, and anoint the Altar and Walls of the Cathedral.  The relics of three saints will be sealed into the aperture in the back of the Altar:  St. Catherine Laboure, Blessed Giacomo Alberione, and Blessed Teresa of Calcutta.
