Dear Family of Mary!

Our Lady likes novenas!

Listen to this message:

"Dear children! I thank you for your prayers and for the love you show toward me. I invite you to decide to pray for my intentions. Dear children, offer novenas, making sacrifices wherein you feel the most bound. I want your life to be bound to me. I am your Mother, little children, and I do not want Satan to deceive you for He wants to lead you the wrong way, but he cannot if you do not permit him. Therefore, little children, renew prayer in your hearts, and then you will understand my call and my desire to help you. Thank you for having responded to my call." (July 25, 1993)

"Offer novenas, making sacrifices wherein you feel the most bound!"  This is a prescription for healing!  And again, Satan comes into the picture.  I do believe that novenas help to free us from the grips of Satan.  They set up a nine day test in which we set our wills to some task that is dedicated to the Lord, and during those nine days our wills get exercise. They get a work out.  For nine days we have to follow through on our plan and pray the prayers we have decided on, and our wills get stronger.  Then with those strengthened wills, we can better choose to be bound to God and to Our Lady, and Satan loses his influence over us.  Novenas are programs of healing for the soul!

Today we can begin a nine day novena that will end on December 24, just in time for Christmas.  Let's pray a novena together, to prepare for Christmas!  We can decide to pray the novena prayer for each day (I will send it out each day) and maybe abstain from something for those nine days (like sweets or something we like).  At the end of the novena we can offer up our sacrifices and prayers for Our Lady's intentions, as she asks in this message, and give them as a gift to the Baby Jesus!

NOVENA FOR CHRISTMAS - FIRST DAY - DECEMBER 16

O God and Savior of our souls, sweet Infant Jesus, Whom the angels and shepherds adored in the stable of Bethlehem on that holy night when Thou wert born of the Virgin Mary. We offer Thee our profound adoration and our most earnest thanksgiving for having become man for our redemption and salvation. Grant that we may apply all our powers to fulfill Thy gracious designs, that we may become perfectly renewed in heart, and inflamed with Thy holy love.

Our Father...   Hail Mary...  Glory be...

HAIL AND BLESSED be the hour and the moment in which the Son of God was born of the Most Pure Blessed Virgin Mary at midnight in Bethlehem in the piercing cold: In that hour, vouchsafe, O my God, to hear my, prayer and grant my petitions, through the merits of Jesus Christ Our Lord.  Amen

In Jesus and Mary!
