Dear Children of Mary!

"Dear children!  I invite you, little children, to help me through your prayers so that as many hearts as possible come close to my Immaculate Heart.  Satan is strong and with all his forces wants to bring closer the most people possible to himself and to sin.  That is why he is on the prowl to snatch more every moment.  I beg you, little children, pray and help me to help you.  I am your mother and I love you and that is why I wish to help you.  Thank you for having responded to my call." (May 25, 1995)

Lately I have been having the distinct impression that Our Lady wants me to keep the eyes of my heart focused on her, especially her face.  Over the past few weeks, when news of unrest or reports of suffering and upheaval around the world have come across my computer or the TV, I have felt Our Lady almost jump in front of the screen and capture my attention.  This is just a spiritual sense I have had.  But it seems real.  She wants me to keep my eyes on her.

As I reflected on this, I connected it with something else in my life.  I have had eight children. During childbirth, there is a progression of intensity in the contractions and the pain.  When you reach "transition" everything hits the roof.  It is very easy for the mother to lose her concentration and control at that moment, because the pain is so intense.  It was at transition that I would have to look into my husband's eyes, and keep focused on him.  His presence and strength helped me to maintain my composure and make it through that difficult time.

I think the time we are in is very intense, spiritually.  I feel it escalating.  And so I feel Our Lady very present, much like Denis was for me in childbirth, coaching me through, keeping me focused and controlled.  She has told us, "Dear children! Also today I am with you and I am looking at you and blessing you, and I am not losing hope that this world will change for the good and that peace will reign in the hearts of men." (January 25, 2011) Isn't that what a good coach would say??  She is with us, looking at us and blessing us!  She is looking right at us and wants us to look back

at her, eye to eye.  She wants to keep eye contact in order to communicate her strength to us during this time.

And there is another benefit to her presence and eye contact.  She draws us into her Immaculate Heart, where we are safe from Satan.  During these difficult times Satan wants to send us into despondency and despair, driving us away from God through fear.  Our Lady is with us to keep that from happening.  As she said in this message from 1995, "Satan is strong and with all his forces wants to bring closer the most people possible to himself and to sin.  That is why he is on the prowl to snatch more every moment.  I beg you, little children, pray and help me to help you."  Mother Mary is with us to deliver us from Satan. She needs us to stay focused on her, for our own safety, and she needs us to join her in prayer so that as many people as possible will enter also into the safety of her Immaculate Heart.

When we feel threatened, off balance, fearful, or saddened by the works of Satan in these days, let's immediately turn to the beautiful face of Mary, gaze into her eyes, and receive the peace of God which she brings us.  And let's pray our Rosaries with all our hearts that as many people as possible will be brought into the safety of her Immaculate Heart. She will get us through this transition into the Triumph of her Immaculate Heart!

In Jesus and Mary!
