Dear Family of Mary!

"Dear children! My motherly heart suffers tremendously as I look at my children who persistently put what is human before what is of God, at my children who, despite everything that surrounds them and despite all the signs that are sent to them, think that they can walk without my Son. They cannot! They are walking to eternal perdition. That is why I am gathering you, who are ready to open your heart to me, you who are ready to be apostles of my love, to help me; so that by living God's love you may be an example to those who do not know it. May fasting and prayer give you strength in that, and I bless you with the motherly blessing in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Thank you." (March 2, 2011)

Motherly hearts suffer.  They just do.  From the moment a child is conceived, the suffering begins.  It is a sweet suffering, a suffering that is born out of love.  But it is indeed suffering.  Mothers are concerned for their children.  Day and night that concern drives them to service. The child's needs are largely her responsibility: food, clothing, comfort, training, activities, sleep, hygiene, education, relationships, and on and on.  It is all the realm of the mother's concern. And no matter how time passes, mothers continue to carry that concern born out of love.  Until their dying day, they think only of their children's welfare.  Mother's suffer.

Our Lady is the best of mothers, and so we know that she is suffering out of love for each of us.  She watches with tender solicitude as we live our lives.  Each choice we make brings her joy or sorrow.  Each step we take draws us closer to her heart or drives us farther away.  Each person on earth is her child.  Each person is in her gaze.  Each person's fall will pierce her heart.  She suffers for us, because of us, and with us.  But nothing affects her more than the eternal loss of a soul.  And this is the pain she is sharing with us in this message.  The loss of even one of her children causes her deep anguish.

We who listen and respond to Our Lady's messages have been honored in a special way in this message.  Our Mother has shared the anguish of her heart with us.  She must trust us very much.  She is asking us to pray and fast in order to be strong enough to help her in her task of interceding for her lost children and through our love, drawing them back to God.  She needs our help.  What a joy it will be to help our Mother, Mary.

In Jesus and Mary!
