Bishops consider reinstating some Holy Days

Horsemen ride through St Peter’s Square on the Feast of the Epiphany on January 6. In England the feast was celebrated on January 2 (CNS)

Epiphany and Ascension may be brought back as Holy Days of Obligation, the English and Welsh bishops have said.

I pray that the US Bishops would do the same! There is good reason to return to the proper days for these Solemnities especially since Rome never changed the dates, but to be consistant and in-tune with the Gospel the Feasts should flow through the four seasons of the Church normally.
