Accept Now the Invitation

Accept Now the Invitation

June 13, 2011 A.D.

Our Lady of Medjugorje said on December 25, 1986

“...My heart carefully follows your steps...”

It is a great consolation for a child to walk his first steps, pause and look up to see his mother over him, and then with joy, continue his unstable steps. How truly sad it will be for those who miss this time of grace. Trial and tribulation will come to every man on earth. Being the time of harvest, no one will escape purification. How blessed we are who accept now the invitation to be purified while holding Our Lady’s hand, rather than being put through tribulation without Our Lady.

Apparition Mountain Overlooking to Cross Mountain

This trail has been worn by millions of pilgrims who have come to Medjugorje to be blessed by Our Lady’s presence. The founder of Caritas in his many pilgrimages to Medjugorje has always said that it was Our Lady’s choice to appear on a rock strewn mountain, and She called us to go there often and pray. A difficult climb, but a climb that is full of graces, especially now, in this time of grace.

As we continue to ponder on God’s blessing of Our Lady’s presence for 30 years, daily coming to us in Her apparitions, for those who accept now Our Lady’s invitation through every trial and tribulation, we become more worthy of Her words, “Thank you for having responded to my call.”
