Our Lady Rosa Mystica feast
The Catholic Church dedicates the 13th day of July every year to Our Lady Rosa Mystica (Mystical Rose) in accordance to a request made by the Blessed Mother, when she appeared to a humble Italian woman in Montichiari in Northern Italy in a series of apparitions in 1947.
Seen as a continuation of the message of Fatima, the Holy Mother, who appeared with the two children of Fatima: Francisco and Jacinta, requested Pierina Gilli to ask the faithful to pray the holy rosary, to repent for sins against the faith and morals, and to do penance. Our Lady requested that the 13th of every month be celebrated as a Marian day.
