Our Lady Queen of Peace of Medjugorje’s August 2, 2011 Message
Given to Mirjana on the Day for Non-Believers
After a few days of rain off and on, the days in Medjugorje are becoming a bit cooler and pleasant. This morning at the Blue Cross, Our Lady appeared to Mirjana on the day of prayer for non-believers. Thousands were gathered all around the Blue Cross on Apparition Mountain, spilling onto the trails, down the mountain, and into the street. Several hours of praying and singing preceded the apparition today. A little before 8:30 AM, Mirjana arrived and the pilgrims began the Seven Our Fathers, Seven Hail Mary’s and Seven Glory Be’s. After a few sets of prayers, Our Lady appeared, around 8:38 AM. The apparition lasted a little over 5 minutes. Following is Our Lady of Medjugorje’s message given today August 2, 2011, on the day of prayer for non-believers:

The base line of the crisis concerning nonbelievers is their never having experienced the love of God. Mirjana has said or relayed that Our Lady has never referred to these souls as atheistic, agnostic, or even non-believers. Our Lady has referred to them only as souls who do not know the love of God. Not knowing the love of God, they cannot come to believe in Him in fullness, in the proper way, or that He even exists. People experience the love of God in family. When a family is in crisis you will see the lack of experience with the love of God. Family love creates belief in God. Family love begets vocations with strength. Family love creates a great people and family love creates great nations. Where a father can reign in a family, you will have the love of God in the family. If a wife does not consent to love, obedience and respect, to this reign, you will have a weakening of the hearts and belief in the love of God in the family. This is related to God the Father through the earthly father. There is such a prevalence of this now in the world that as the father is without strength in the culture, the family is without strength. Motherhood and its fulfillment will not reign where a father’s role will not be recognized. Our Lady, by an extraordinary grace, has come to re-establish the importance of fatherhood. For the many who did not have this in the family, Our Lady wins a grace, a way, to gain strength and dispel nonbelief. Our Lady says:

As we have written for 25 years, the world cannot be healed through a nation, but rather only through individuals. Yet, Our Lady says today:
Individuals, strengthened in the family of God, together will heal the world. The strengthened individual makes a strengthened family. The strengthened family makes for a strengthened nation, thereby, a strengthened world.
Our Lady, today, warns us that evil has plans in this generation, now in the present, to rule. Our Lady says this plan is to destroy the world. This is the moment the antichrist would reign and cause the end of the world. Our Lady tells us this today. Astounding? Remarkable? Yes, of course, it is. Today, Our Lady clearly says Evil (antichrist) wants to begin to rule in this world and to destroy it.wants begin rule world destroy
These five words from the lips of Truth make the time we live in undeniable. The antichrist will rule, will reign except Our Lady has come every day for 30 years and will be with us for another ten years to finish the job of a 40-year work to save and heal the world, if we respond to Her.

Do not have a false confidence that we will win this battle. It is clear the antichrist wants to rule and destroy the earth in this, our time, because in this Her time, She has told you so.

Today, August 2, 2011, at the Blue Cross in Medjugorje, Our Lady appeared again to visionary Mirjana. Those with obvious injuries or disabilities gathered in the inner circle where Mirjana kneels to receive Our Lady. Yet, everyone gathered, the young and the old, have come with injured and suffering hearts. The evil in today’s world is such that every heart is impacted by it. Mankind is constantly searching for answers to suffering. When life doesn’t turn out the way one hoped it would, there is suffering. Despite all the promises of science and medicine, people are often left disappointed and even despairing in the realization that no remedy exists for their ailment or their loved one’s disability. Jesus said, “Come to me all you who are burdened and heavy laden and I will give you rest.”
Jesus has another name. It is Mercy. In the prayer, Hail Holy Queen, we call upon Our Lady, who is the Mother of Jesus, as the Mother of Mercy. There is no better place to go with our illnesses, sufferings, fears, heartaches, disappointments, tragedies and failures than at the feet of the Mother of Mercy. So great and loving is our Merciful God that He has sent His Mother for 30 years to our troubled world to reacquaint us with His name—“Mercy.”
One man finds a way to enter into the silence of his heart while waiting for Our Lady’s apparition this morning, August 2, 2011. In Our Lady’s latest message of July 25, 2011, She said:
It is a beautiful grace to be in Medjugorje just after Our Lady gave this message—to be able to live this message in Medjugorje. Yet, the call of Our Lady is to make each of our homes “Medjugorje” so that we can easily live Her messages in our own surroundings. Some say that it is not possible to do this in their homes. Peace and silence start in the heart. Let your heart be conquered by Our Lady and then spread that peace to one room of the house, and if not an entire room, then at least in one corner of a room—create a place of peace, prayer and order. When you have established this corner of peace, begin asking Our Lady to help you expand the boundaries of peace that it may pervade the whole room, and then room by room, eventually the whole house. After Mirjana’s arrival at the Blue Cross this morning, August 2, 2011, she quiets herself, withdraws into her heart, and joins the waiting crowd for the longed for moment when Our Lady appears.
God always starts with individuals. He plants His Word deep in a man’s heart and calls that man to respond to the revelation of His Word, to be a witness to its life-changing and life-giving power. That witness draws others to him, who in following the witness experiences the liberating power that destroys sin in their lives and allows them to experience the love of God as never before. These others then become witnesses—and the power of God’s Word expands to still more people. Medjugorje started with just six individual children 30 years ago. As Medjugorje visionary Marija said, Our Lady came and led them to fall in love with Her, and once they fell in love with Our Lady, She led them to fall in love with Her Son. This love shines through these six visionaries and has literally changed the lives of millions of people. Medjugorje is now a world-wide phenomenon, spoken of in the largest cities and smallest villages of the world. This message received by Mirjana today, August 2, 2011, is already reaching to the ends of the earth through the internet, telephones, fax machines, word of mouth. Because of this unity with our Mother, Medjugorje has become a power to change, heal and save the world.
There were thousands of youth at Mirjana’s apparition this morning. They are in Medjugorje attending the Youth Festival. Though the message is meant for every man living on earth today, in a special way we can say that Our Lady addresses these words to today’s youth. With more than half of all marriages ending in divorce, how is it possible for youth today to know what it means to be a part of the family of God or to know the power of the Father’s love. It is through the family, the father and mother’s love for each other that their children witness, that teaches them this. The family is lost today, broken up into separate hearts, it has lost its strength. As the Mother of the Good Shepherd, Our Lady has come to the world looking for all Her lost children to bring them back into the family of God—so that the family can learn again what it means to be family, to be whole, to be one, to be strong.
