St. Patrick’s Catholic Parish in Merced, California is pleased to bring you the Miracles of Medjugorje Healing Conference being held Saturday, March 16, 2013.

More than 45 million people have made a pilgrimage of faith to the little village of Medjugorje in the former Yugoslavia since June 24, 1981.

Countless men, women and children have been drawn to this place of heaven on earth to discover or rediscover a true love of Jesus, through Mary, by means of faith, prayer, repentance, conversion, fasting, the Mass, miraculous healing and spectacular signs and wonders.

The Miracles of Medjugorje Healing Conference will bring together an array of nationally renowned inspirational Catholic speakers who will give powerful first-hand testimonies of how their lives were changed by the grace of Jesus through our Blessed Mother in Medjugorje.

Fr. Michael Lightner was a standout collegiate athlete destined for the NFL’s offensive line. He witnessed a miraculous healing of biblical proportion and was “sidelined” by the power of God through the Sacrament of Reconciliation in Medjugorje where he was called to play on God’s team.

Christine Watkins, MTS, LCSW, is a nationally known author and speaker. She tells the story of her miraculous healing and conversion from Jesus through Mary, which saved her from death, along with the stories of five others, in her Ave Maria Press best-seller, Full of Grace, featuring Michael Crotty and John Watkins Jr.

Michael Crotty, a gifted iconographer and addiction specialist, repeatedly risked his life to maintain a crack cocaine addiction. He was taken to Medjugorje by his father where the Blessed Mother appeared to him and guided him to healing and conversion.

John Watkins Jr. found himself in Medjugorje against his will and came home one week later a different man. Married to Christine Watkins, he holds the offices from Respect Life and Social Justice Coordinator in the Diocese of Oakland. An energetic, informative and engaging speaker, he emboldens his audience to live the Gospel with one’s whole heart.

Gretchen Harris, UCMVA’s “Female Vocalist of the Year”, is a Catholic singer/songwriter whose music expresses her love for God and Church. Songs from her six CDs can be heard on Catholic and Christian radio stations in the United States and many other countries, in addition to the worldwide radio outreach of EWTN.

St. Patrick’s Parish recognizes and gladly accepts that final authority regarding the apparitions and messages of Medjugorje rests always and finally with the Holy See.
