Dear Family of Mary!

"Dear children, as my eyes are looking at you, my soul is seeking those souls with whom it desires to be one - the souls who have understood the importance of prayer for those of my children who have not come to know the love of the Heavenly Father. I am calling you because I need you. Accept the mission and do not be afraid, I will strengthen you. I will fill you with my graces. With my love I will protect you from the evil spirit. I will be with you. With my presence I will console you in difficult moments. Thank you for your open hearts. Pray for priests. Pray that the unity between my Son and them may be all the stronger, that they may be one. Thank you." (September 2, 2012)

Our Lady is calling us to be intercessors with her for souls who do not yet know her Son's love. This is a tremendous opportunity for us! We are being given a job that is very dear to Mother Mary's heart. I received many responses to last Friday's reflection which talked about being woken in the night to pray. They are encouraging! Here are a few excerpts:

I was happy to read this.  I once got up during the night thinking I heard the doorbell ring.  I got up and no one was there.  I can't recall what time it was.  I just said a few prayers in case I was being called to pray for someone.  Other times when I wake up and can't fall back to sleep, I will say some Hail Mary's for any one that was in need at that moment.  Nothing has ever been revealed to me, but many times I will hear of an earthquake or other disaster that had happened during the night.  I often wonder if the Lord wanted my prayers.  I don't always look at the clock so I don't know if the times were the same.  Thanks for sharing.  It strengthens my faith that God is calling me to prayer during the night. God Bless, (Sue)

Thank you Cathy!  Grace filled message.  I am often awakened in the middle of the night and so often at the 03:00 hour.  I will take my prayer even more seriously once awakening after reading your message.  I am sure the Lord is calling me too to pray at that time for someone, someplace. (Cathy)

I went to bed at 1: 00 a.m. Lebanon local time after finishing my daily rosary and prayers. I was exhausted completely knocked down ready to sleep. I had the same experience once my head was on the pillow I could not sleep which is very rare. Then I started praying again offering everything to Jesus not knowing to whom I was praying until 3:20 a.m. May All Souls rest in Peace in Union of Prayers. Thank you for your Reflections (Maroun)

Thanks for sharing that story! It touched me deeply since I recently had a very similar experience. It gives me goose bumps to know that I was called on to pray for my beloved friend Becky as she passed from this life into heaven to be reunited with her loved ones who were there to meet her! God bless! (Rosie)

It is 3:30 am and I have not been able to sleep at all! Thank you for this...I am going back to bed to pray for souls who do not know our Loving Father's love! (Sally)

We can see that Our Lady is very busy inspiring people to pray for souls during the night! It is the perfect time for intercession, as we are quiet, receptive, and alone with God. Our Lady tells us not to be afraid, she will strengthen us. I am sure she will help us cope with any lost sleep the next day! She will fill us with her graces! And what joy we will have in heaven when we discover all those who were blessed with conversion and new life because of our prayers.

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
