On Preparing for the Greatest Event in our Lives

Media_httpgallerymail_sedkz

Sadly, less than 3% of Catholics properly prepare to receive our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament. The following prayer should be said the night before and during the morning before Mass. “Mother of God, by your ardent longing you drew Jesus down from Heaven. Instill in my heart this same longing and an insatiable love for Him truly present under the veil of bread and wine. Eucharistic Heart of Jesus, on fire with love for us, inflame my heart for love of you. Lord, transform me into Yourself by virtue of your Divinity imprinting itself on my soul during this Feast of Love. By your supreme condescension, I give You your own Love.”

Please no anonymous comments. I require at least some way for people to address each other personally and courteously. Having some name or handle helps.
