The Scala Santa: A Holy Place in Rome
http://en.romereports.com Inside this church, located right in front of St. John Lateran's Basilica, pilgrims can find the so called Scala Santa. They're the steps, which according to tradition, Jesus walked up, step by step, on Good Friday, when he was about to go to trial. The mother of Emperor Constantine, St. Helena, ordered they be brought to Rome back in the year 326.

Please no anonymous comments. I require at least some way for people to address each other personally and courteously. Having some name or handle helps.
