To Jesus through Mary

(above is picture taken at Knock Shrine last Thursday)

This last Thursday, on the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Ireland was consecrated to Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary. A few DFOT staff and volunteers were present and brought all the intentions of the apostolate.

Also, Direction for Our Times spiritual Chaplain, Fr. Darragh Connolly, consecrated the apostolate to Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary on the same day. The prayer we used is attached below.

Eternal and incarnate Wisdom, most loveable and adorable

Jesus, true God and true man, only Son of the eternal

Father and of Mary always Virgin, we adore you profoundly,

dwelling in the splendour of your Father from all eternity,

and in the virginal womb of Mary, your most worthy Mother,

at the time of your Incarnation.

We turn to you, Mary Immaculate, living tabernacle of God,

in whom Eternal wisdom willed to receive the adoration of

both men and angels. We greet you as Queen of the

Church, for the Church has been made subject to your

sovereignty. This day, with the whole court of heaven as

witness, we choose you, Mary, as our Mother and Queen.

We surrender and consecrate the apostolate of Jesus Christ

the Returning King to you. We ask you to guard and protect

it and all of us in it serving your Son, the Returning King.

We specially consecrate to your Immaculate Heart, Anne,

you beloved daughter and servant. Protect her always.

Make her strong. Bless her with health. Give her courage

and certainty in her leadership. Console her in times of trial

and protect her resolve in the path she has chosen.

We ask you to protect and guide Bishop Leo. Give him

certainty in all his decisions but most especially in the

decisions he makes about this apostolate.  We ask that you

surround him with protection in his service as bishop and

that his heart, the heart of a father, be ?lled with love for us

his children.

We ask you that through your example and intercession we

may remain faithful to Christ in all we do, both in our

personal lives and in our work.

We ask you to intercede for us in all our decision making,

work and service that we may be  worthy representatives of

Christ in the world and that those who meet us may meet

Him.

We ask this through Christ The Lord.

Amen.
