Dear Family of Mary!
Today
we will receive a message from Our Lady, Queen of Peace, through
Marija. This regular Monthly Message is very important. It is the public
message that Our Lady gives to us to guide us in our growth towards
holiness and heaven. Our Lady began these monthly messages in January of
1987 and they have come to us faithfully all these years through the
visionary Marija. We have been given so much grace through the monthly
messages. I, for one, would feel it keenly if Our Lady would stop giving
these messages. They have helped me year in and year out to manage my
life in the light of God's grace. Our Lady is a very good spiritual
director!!
As
we wait for the message later today, here is a message that was given
through Ivan, at an evening of prayer in Padua, Italy on August 21,
2014. Ivan's messages are given for those who are with him for the
apparition, but they are truly helpful for all of us. This message is
particularly meaningful:
The message of the Virgin Mary given on August 21st during the apparition to Medjugorje seer Ivan Dragicevic in Padua, Italy:
"Dear children, also today again I call you to holiness. Pray, dear children, for the sanctity of the family. Pray, dear children, for prayer to enter your families and become a joy for you. Rejoice in prayer, so that with prayer, dear children, you can have this full and deep peace. For with prayer, dear children, you allow the Holy Spirit to descend into your heart and bring you new strength and light in your life. Pray, pray, pray, dear children, open yourselves and you will get this. I pray, and I ask my Son to grant you this gift. Thank you, dear children, because also today you have responded to my call."

It is very comforting to know that "with
prayer, dear children, you allow the Holy Spirit to descend into your
heart and bring you new strength and light in your life." In
these troubled times we need new strength every day, and new light as
well. To move ahead in peace, we must be nourished by God, through His
spirit. All things are possible with God. So when He comes to us,
descends into our hearts, we are made strong!
Let us pray, "Come, Holy Spirit!" And let us await the Monthly Message with great joy!
