Spiritual Gems-How to Simplify a Holy Hour-March 14, 2015

How to Simplify a Holy Hour

There are times when many of us struggle to stay focused on The Lord for the hour.  He so wants us there and has promised that Satan will be blinded in the Parish while we are adoring!  He also taught Elizabeth Kindelmann that we can profit from simply repeating: "My adorable Jesus" as our prayer, as long as we do it in a spirit of repentance for our sins and the sins of others, especially those who purposely hurt Him and those who simply don't care about Him.

Our Lord promised that If we did just this for our Holy Hour, He would forgive sins and provide many graces to souls, especially peace to those in most need of peace of mind and soul.  So, if you need to simplify some part of your Hour, after your Flame of Love Rosary, this is the way The Lord has laid out for us.  We can easily make a chaplet of this prayer on the Hail Mary beads while we say the Unity prayer on the Our Father beads.  We can do this in a spirit of repentance while calling on Elizabeth herself to help us repent for our sins and those who most offend God with the same repentance she gave to our Lord at every moment of her life!
