Dear Family of Mary!

"Dear children, I am calling you to spread the faith in my Son - your faith.  You, my children illuminated by the Holy Spirit, my apostles, transmit it to others - to those who do not believe, who do not know, who do not want to know - but for that you must pray a lot for the gift of love, because love is the mark of true faith - and you will be apostles of my love..." (July 2, 2015)

Our Lady is revealing to us part of her plan for us in this message. She has been working towards this plan for a long time. She has been forming her apostles, slowly and lovingly. She has been enveloping us in her mantle of love, giving us the graces she wins for us from the Father, and helping us to convert. She has been revealing to us the reality of God, so that we will convert and believe. She has been sharing with us her faith.

Now it is time for us to share our faith. This is the plan. Our Lady needs us to transmit to others our personal faith. What is this personal faith? It is our story. It is the story of how we came to believe in Jesus, to believe in the Father, to believe in the Holy Spirit. It is not an impersonal account of the reasons why one should believe. It is a very personal account of how we came to believe, step by step. It is our testimony, the story of how we met Our Lady, how we came to know Jesus, how we began to realize that God exists.

This is the story that we heard in Fr. Adrian's homily at English Mass - July 1, 2015. Fr. Adrian shared some intimate details about himself: that he was an atheist as a young man; that he was angry and disillusioned; and that one day in his room, completely unlooked for, he experienced the presence and the love of God in such a way that he instantly knew that God exists. Fr. Adrian then shared the slow but steady progress he made in faith, returning to Mass, learning to pray, and finally becoming a priest. This was a perfect example of what Our Lady is asking of us, that illuminated by the Holy Spirit, we might transmit our faith to others.

Our faith is our personal road to belief in God. And we can only share such intimate things if we are motivated by love. No one will share such things through vanity or anger or pride. The story of our faith reveals our sins and weaknesses as part of the story. No, only love could make us share such personal details, the real stuff of our conversion.

And so, if we desire to respond to this call from Our Lady, it is time for us to take stock of our personal conversion. It is time to really understand where our faith has come from, and where that faith is leading each one of us. We are being called to share that faith with others, as a sign to them that God exists.

Thank you to all of you who have allowed Mary TV to share your witnesses on our website. Each day we hear conversion stories on "Fruit of Medjugorje", "Tea with Rosie", and in the homilies of "English Mass". These stories are powerful examples of faith. They transmit the faith to us, confirming our own faith and making us jump for joy at God's powerful love for us. Thank you so much for your generous witness.

Medjugorje is a place of conversion, peace, love and faith. Our Lady is there in that place, to build us up in our faith, convert us, and strengthen us so that we can all carry Medjugorje back to our homes. Countless people need to know that God exists. They are close to despair. We can bring them hope through our faith. We can be Our Lady's apostles.

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
