This double call to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus is at the heart of the Fatima message and the Medjugorje message! The third pillar of Fatima is explained in this way:

Dear Family of Mary!
October 25, 1988 "Dear children! My invitation that you live the messages which I am giving you is a daily one, specially, little children, because I want to draw you closer to the Heart of Jesus. Therefore, little children, I am inviting you today to the prayer of consecration to Jesus, my dear Son, so that each of you may be His. And then I am inviting you to the consecration of my Immaculate Heart. I want you to consecrate yourselves as parents, as families and as parishioners so that all belong to God through my heart. Therefore, little children, pray that you comprehend the greatness of this message which I am giving you. I do not want anything for myself, rather all for the salvation of your soul. Satan is strong and therefore, you, little children, by constant prayer, press tightly against my motherly heart. Thank you for having responded to my call."

DEVOTION TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY
In
1916, a year before the apparitions of Our Lady, the Angel of Peace
appeared to the children to prepare them for things to come. "The Hearts of Jesus and Mary have designs of mercy for you," he said. "Offer unceasingly to the Most High prayer and sacrifices."
In the second apparition the following year (June 13) Our Lady let the children know that "Jesus wishes to establish throughout the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart."
Several times in the June and July apparitions Our Lady spoke of this
devotion, as we shall see; and soon there began to burn in their hearts
(especially Jacinta's) a deep love for the Hearts of Jesus and Mary.
Shortly before Jacinta went to the hospital where she was to die, she said to Lucia: "In
a short time now I am going to heaven. You are to stay here and say
that God wishes to establish in the world the devotion to the Immaculate
Heart of Mary... Tell everybody that God grants graces through the
Immaculate Heart of Mary, and that they must ask them from her. Tell
them that the Heart of Jesus wishes that by His side should be venerated
the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Tell them to ask peace through the
Immaculate Heart of Mary; God has placed it in her hands. Oh that I
could put into the heart of everybody the flame that I feel burning
within my breast and which makes me love so much the Heart of Jesus and
the Heart of Mary."
July 13, 1917
"Sacrifice
yourselves for sinners; and say often when you make some sacrifice, 'My
Jesus, it is for love of You, for the conversion of sinners, and in
reparation for sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.'"
After showing the children a vision of hell, Our Lady said to them: "You
have seen hell where the souls of poor sinners go. To save them, God
wishes to establish throughout the world devotion to my Immaculate
Heart. If people do as I shall ask many souls will be saved, and there
will be peace.... But if people do not cease offending God... another
and more terrible war will begin. When you see a night illumined by an
unknown light, know that this is the great sign that God gives that the
chastisement of the world for its many transgressions is at hand through
war, famine, persecution of the Church and of the Holy Father."
"To
prevent this, I shall come to ask the consecration of Russia to my
Immaculate Heart, and Communions of reparation on the first Saturdays.
If my requests are heard, Russia will be converted and there will be
peace. If not, she will spread her errors throughout the world,
fomenting wars and persecution of the Church. The good will suffer
martyrdom; the Holy Father will suffer much; different nations will be
annihilated. But in the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph. The Holy
Father will consecrate Russia to me, which will be converted, and some
time of peace will be granted to humanity."
Our Lady gave a great mission to the three children,
to spread devotion to her Immaculate Heart and the Sacred Heart of
Jesus, for the salvation of the world. The Two Hearts are the way to
peace, the way to eternal life! Many souls have responded to this call
from Fatima! Our Lady actually has returned to earth in Medjugorje to
stir into flame this devotion to the Heart of Jesus and to her heart!
Why? Because it is the Father's plan to conquer the devil through the
loving Heart of Mary, and to bring a time of peace.
And so in Medjugorje Our Lady has said to us:

August 25, 2000 "Dear children! I desire to share my joy with you. In my Immaculate Heart I feel that there are many of those who have drawn closer to me and are, in a special way, carrying the victory of my Immaculate Heart in their hearts by praying and converting. I desire to thank you and to inspire you to work even more for God and His kingdom with love and the power of the Holy Spirit. I am with you and I bless you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call."
April 25, 2017 "Dear children! Love, pray and witness my presence to all those who are far away. By your witness and example, you can draw closer the hearts that are far from God and His grace. I am with you and intercede for each of you so that, with love and resoluteness, you may witness and encourage all those who are far from my Immaculate Heart. Thank you for having responded to my call."
Certainly what Our
Lady began in Fatima she is continuing and fulfilling in Medjugorje. It
is the Triumph of her Immaculate Heart!
In light of this, I want to share something we received in prayer during the Daily Rosary yesterday (May 10):
Every day we choose a saint from our saint box during the Daily Rosary. Twice this week we received St. Peter, Apostle! And the prayer intention is to pray for the Pope! Then just at the end of the rosary yesterday, I received a text with a news article about Pope Francis' trip to Fatima for the 100th Anniversary of the Apparitions. The Holy Father will canonize two of the Fatima seers, Blessed Jacinta Marto and Blessed Francesco Marto. What a wonderful fruit of Fatima!!

The article ended by quoting the Pope with these words:
"I will go to Fatima on a pilgrimage, to entrust to the Virgin the temporal and eternal destinies of humanity."
Wow!
I realized that this was a moment of great possibilities for Our Lady's
plan. The Holy Father will entrust all of humanity to Our Lady,
consecrate us to her anew! And that is when I understood why St. Peter
had chosen us twice! He wants us to pray for his successor, that all
that God wants to do through him in Fatima will be accomplished.
So,
I want to ask all of you to join us in praying that Our Lady will
accomplish everything she intends through Pope Francis as he entrusts us
all to her on Saturday, May 13!!!
She has told us that, "in the end my Immaculate Heart will triumph!" Amen, Amen, may it be so!!!
