Mary TV: June 30, 2017 Reflection - Pray with the heart until your heart sings...

The First Martyrs of the Holy Roman Church

Dear Family of Mary!
"Dear children! Today, I desire to thank you for your perseverance and call you to open yourselves to profound prayer. Prayer, little children, is the heart of faith and is hope in eternal life. Therefore, pray with the heart until your heart sings with thanksgiving to God the Creator who gave you life. I am with you, little children, and carry to you my motherly blessing of peace. Thank you for having responded to my call." (June 25, 2017 Anniversary Message)

"Therefore, pray with the heart until your heart sings with thanksgiving to God the Creator who gave you life..."

St. Faustina had a deep prayer life that erupted in thanksgiving to God the Creator often. Here is one example of her heart's song of thanksgiving to the Lord:
You have surrounded my life with Your tender and loving care, more than I can comprehend, for I will understand Your goodness in its entirety only when the veil is lifted. I desire that my whole life be but one act of thanksgiving to You, O God.

Thank You, O God, for all the graces
Which unceasingly You lavish upon me,
Graces which enlighten me with the brilliance of the sun,
For by them You show me the sure way.

Thank You, O Lord, for creating me,
For calling me into being from nothingness,
For imprinting Your divinity on my soul,
The work of sheer merciful love.

Thank You, O God, for Holy Baptism
Which engrafted me into Your family,
A gift great beyond all thought or expression
Which transforms my soul.

Thank You, O Lord, for Holy Confession,
For that inexhaustible spring of great mercy,
For that inconceivable fountain of graces
In which sin-tainted souls become purified.

Thank You, O Jesus, for Holy Communion
In which You give us Yourself.
I feel Your Heart beating within my breast
As You cause Your divine life to unfold within me.
Thank You, O Holy Spirit, for the Sacrament of Confirmation,
Which dubs me Your knight
And gives strength to my soul at each moment,
Protecting me from evil.
Thank You, O God, for the grace of a vocation
For being called to serve you alone,
Leading me to make You my sole love,
An unequal honor for my soul.

Thank You, O Lord, for perpetual vows,
For that union of pure love,
For having deigned to unite Your pure heart with mine
And uniting my heart to Yours in the purest of bonds.

Thank You, O Lord, for the Sacrament of Anointing
Which, in my final moments, will give me strength;
My help in battle, my guide to salvation,
Fortifying my soul till we rejoice forever.

Thank You, O God, for all the inspirations
That Your goodness lavishes upon me,
For the interior lights given my soul,
Which the heart senses, but words cannot express.

Thank You, O Holy Trinity, for the vastness of the graces
Which You have lavished on me unceasingly through life.
My gratitude will intensify as the eternal dawn rises,
When, for the first time, I sing to Your glory. (St. Faustina's Diary 1285-86)
May we all go deep into our hearts in prayer, until our hearts sing with thanksgiving to God our Creator who gave us life!! May our prayer extend a blessing of thanksgiving over the whole world!

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

"Therefore, pray with the heart until your heart sings with thanksgiving to God the Creator who gave you life..."

Psalm 118
O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
his steadfast love endures for ever!
Let Israel say,
"His steadfast love endures for ever."
Let the house of Aaron say,
"His steadfast love endures for ever."
Let those who fear the LORD say,
"His steadfast love endures for ever."
Out of my distress I called on the LORD;
the LORD answered me and set me free.
With the LORD on my side I do not fear.
What can man do to me?
The LORD is on my side to help me;
I shall look in triumph on those who hate me.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD
than to put confidence in man.
It is better to take refuge in the LORD
than to put confidence in princes.
All nations surrounded me;
in the name of the LORD I cut them off!
They surrounded me, surrounded me on every side;
in the name of the LORD I cut them off!
They surrounded me like bees,
they blazed like a fire of thorns;
in the name of the LORD I cut them off!
I was pushed hard, so that I was falling,
but the LORD helped me.
The LORD is my strength and my song;
he has become my salvation.
Hark, glad songs of victory
in the tents of the righteous:
"The right hand of the LORD does valiantly,
the right hand of the LORD is exalted,
the right hand of the LORD does valiantly!"
I shall not die, but I shall live,
and recount the deeds of the LORD.
The LORD has chastened me sorely,
but he has not given me over to death.
Open to me the gates of righteousness,
that I may enter through them
and give thanks to the LORD.
This is the gate of the LORD;
the righteous shall enter through it.
I thank thee that thou hast answered me
and hast become my salvation.
The stone which the builders rejected
has become the head of the corner.
This is the LORD's doing;
it is marvelous in our eyes.
This is the day which the LORD has made;
let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Save us, we beseech thee, O LORD!
O LORD, we beseech thee, give us success!
Blessed be he who enters in the name of the LORD!
We bless you from the house of the LORD.
The LORD is God,
and he has given us light.
Bind the festal procession with branches,
up to the horns of the altar!
Thou art my God, and I will give thanks to thee;
thou art my God, I will extol thee.
O give thanks to the LORD, for he is good;
for his steadfast love endures for ever!

Mary TV: June 28, 2017 Reflection - Thank you for your perseverance...

Thank you for having responded to my call." (June 25, 2017)

Our Lady thanks us for our perseverance in this anniversary message, in the context of prayer. "Today, I desire to thank you for your perseverance and call you to open yourselves to profound prayer." She thanks us because we are still trying. We are still listening to her messages, still responding to her call in Medjugorje. And most of all we are still praying. She is happy that we persevere.

We may think that our efforts to persevere mean very little when juxtaposed to the world's events. We are just little people, having limited means and traveling in small social circles. But we would be mistaken to think that our continued struggle to respond to Our Lady's call is meaningless. It is not!

Our prayer, joined to her prayer, is powerful! And that is why she calls us to "open yourselves to profound prayer." She knows the miracles that can take place if we pray. And she is calling those miracles forth.

I looked in the Catechism of the Catholic Church for any reference to perseverance, and came across a beautiful passage about perseverance in prayer! It speaks volumes to me about what Our Lady is looking for in our perseverance in prayer. I include it here:

IV. Persevering in Love
2742 "Pray constantly . . . always and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father."(33) St. Paul adds, "Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance making supplication for all the saints."(34) For "we have not been commanded to work, to keep watch and to fast constantly, but it has been laid down that we are to pray without ceasing."(35) This tireless fervor can come only from love. Against our dullness and laziness, the battle of prayer is that of humble, trusting, and persevering love. This love opens our hearts to three enlightening and life-giving facts of faith about prayer.
2743 It is always possible to pray: the time of the Christian is that of the risen Christ who is with us always, no matter what tempests may arise.(36) Our time is in the hands of God:
It is possible to offer fervent prayer even while walking in public or strolling alone, or seated in your shop, . . . while buying or selling, . . . or even while cooking.(37)
2744 Prayer is a vital necessity. Proof from the contrary is no less convincing: if we do not allow the Spirit to lead us, we fall back into the slavery of sin. (38) How can the Holy Spirit be our life if our heart is far from him?
Nothing is equal to prayer; for what is impossible it makes possible, what is difficult, easy.... For it is impossible, utterly impossible, for the man who prays eagerly and invokes God ceaselessly ever to sin. (39)
Those who pray are certainly saved; those who do not pray are certainly damned(40)
2745 Prayer and Christian life are inseparable, for they concern the same love and the same renunciation, proceeding from love; the same filial and loving conformity with the Father's plan of love; the same transforming union in the Holy Spirit who conforms us more and more to Christ Jesus; the same love for all men, the love with which Jesus has loved us. "Whatever you ask the Father in my name, he [will] give it to you. This I command you, to love one another."(41)
He "prays without ceasing" who unites prayer to works and good works to prayer. Only in this way can we consider as realizable the principle of praying without ceasing.(42)

(33)   1 Thess 5:17;  Eph 5:20. 34  Eph 6:18. (35) Evagrius Ponticus, Pract. 49: PG 40, 1245C. (36) Cf.  Mt 28:20; Lk 8:24[ETML:XC/]. (37) St. John Chrysostom, Ecloga de oratione 2: PG 63, 585. (38) Cf.  Gal 5:16-25. (39) St. John Chrysostom, De Anna 4, 5: PG 54, 666. (40) St. Alphonsus Liguori, Del gran Mezzo della preghiera. (41)  Jn 15:16-17.  (42) Origen, De orat. 12: PG 11, 452c.

As St. John Chrysostom says, "Nothing is equal to prayer, for what is impossible it makes possible, what is difficult, easy..." This is what Our Lady sees so clearly and wants us to understand. Together we can make the impossible, possible. We can help to bring about the Triumph of her Immaculate Heart!

Mary TV: June 27, 2017 Reflection - A Message through Ivan

  (c) Mateo Ivankovic 2017

St. Cyril of Alexandria

Dear Family of Mary!

Here is a message given through Ivan Dragicevic on June 23, 2017. He met with his prayer group on Apparition Hill that night at 10:00 pm. (I happened to be viewing our POV Camera at that time, and saw all the flash lights and cameras blinking like stars on the hill.  I guess I was present for the apparition!)  Here is his account of the encounter with Our Lady:

After the Apparition Ivan said that he would like to describe what is most important from the encounter with Our Lady. He said that Our Lady came joyful and happy and she greeted everyone with Her Motherly greeting, 'Praised be Jesus, my dear children.'
She prayed over everyone present with her arms extended, and especially the sick present for a while. Then Our Lady gave the message to Ivan:
"Dear children, I came, I came to you and presented myself as the Queen of Peace. Also today, I desire to call you to pray for peace. May there be peace, dear children. May peace begin to reign in the world.
Dear children, be persevering in prayer. Fight against evil and against sin and the idols of today's world which seduce you. Be firm; be strong in faith. And to be strong in faith - pray. Pray, and through prayer meet with my Son, for Him to grant you strength, for Him to grant you the grace. Be open.
The Mother prays for all of you and for all of you intercedes before Her Son. Thank you, dear children, for also today having responded to my call."
After that she blessed all with Her Motherly Blessing and all our religious articles. Ivan said that he recommended all of us, our needs and intentions, our families and in a special way the sick.
Our Lady continued praying over all present and She left in that prayer, in an illuminated Sign of the Cross and She said, "Go in peace my dear children"
I am struck with the similarities between this message through Ivan and the 36th Anniversary message through Marija. Here is that message again, so you can ponder them together:

"Dear children! Today, I desire to thank you for your perseverance and call you to open yourselves to profound prayer. Prayer, little children, is the heart of faith and is hope in eternal life. Therefore, pray with the heart until your heart sings with thanksgiving to God the Creator who gave you life. I am with you, little children, and carry to you my motherly blessing of peace. Thank you for having responded to my call." (June 25, 2017 through Marija)

Mary TV: June 23, 2017 Reflection - 36th Anniversary Novena Day 9

J.M.J.
June 23, 2017
36th Anniversary Novena - Day Nine

Dear Family of Mary!

In Fatima Our Lady promised that "in the end, my Immaculate Heart will triumph". In Medjugorje she has told us "I invite you to self-renunciation for nine days so that, with your help, everything that I desire to realize through the secrets I began in Fatima, may be fulfilled" (August 25, 1991). The Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary is our hope in these dark days. As we reflect on Our Lady's coming in Medjugorje, this Triumph give us a hope for the future. We also are being invited to be part of that Triumph, through our response to her call:

"Dear children! Today in a special way I invite you all to prayer and renunciation. For now as never before satan wants to show the world his shameful face by which he wants to seduce as many people as possible onto the way of death and sin. Therefore, dear children, help my Immaculate Heart to triumph in the sinful world. I beseech all of you to offer prayers and sacrifices for my intentions so I can present them to God for what is most necessary. Forget your desires, dear children, and pray for what God desires, and not for what you desire. Thank you for having responded to my call."(September 25, 1991)

May we respond with all our hearts to Our Lady's plea! Let us pray:

The Annunciation
"Dear children! Also in this difficult time God's love sends me to you. My children, do not be afraid, I am with you. With complete trust give me your hearts that I may help you to recognize the signs of the time in which you live. I will help you to come to know the love of my Son. I will triumph through you. Thank you."(June 2, 2007)

The Visitation
"Dear children; Today I call you to a humble, my children, humble devotion. Your hearts need to be just. May your crosses be your means in the battle against the sins of the present time. May your weapon be patience and boundless love, a love that knows to wait and which will make you capable of recognizing God's signs, that your life, by humble love, may show the truth to all those who seek it in the darkness of lies. My children, my apostles, help me to open the paths to my Son. Once again I call you to pray for your shepherds. Alongside them, I will triumph. Thank you."(October 2, 2010)

The Birth of Jesus
"Dear children! I come to you as a Mother with gifts. I come with love and mercy. Dear children, mine is a big heart. In it, I desire all of your hearts, purified by fasting and prayer. I desire that, through love, our hearts may triumph together. I desire that through that triumph you may see the real Truth, the real Way and the real Life. I desire that you may see my Son. Thank you."(March 18, 2007)

The Presentation
"Dear children, Today, with my motherly heart, I call you gathered around me to love your neighbor. My children, stop. Look in the eyes of your brother and see Jesus, my Son. If you see joy, rejoice with him. If there is pain in the eyes of your brother, with your tenderness and goodness, cast it away, because without love you are lost. Only love is effective; it works miracles. Love will give you unity in my Son and the victory of my heart. Therefore, my children, love."(September 2, 2008)

The Finding in the Temple
"Dear children! I desire to share my joy with you. In my Immaculate Heart I feel that there are many of those who have drawn closer to me and are, in a special way, carrying the victory of my Immaculate Heart in their hearts by praying and converting. I desire to thank you and to inspire you to work even more for God and His kingdom with love and the power of the Holy Spirit. I am with you and I bless you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call."(August 25, 2000)

Dear Mother Mary, we gather together to pray this novena, with deep gratitude for your presence in our midst. You have come to show us the way to heaven. The Heavenly Father has sent you to us to help us to repent and return to Him. You are coming to be the bond between us and the Heavenly Father, and to help us to love and serve His Son. You pray with us for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, because you have told us that when we have the Holy Spirit, we have everything. Therefore we ask that during this Novena you will help us to bond with you and through you with our Triune God who loves us so much. We ask that every grace can be poured out upon our shepherds, especially Pope Francis, during these nine days that they will be strengthened and purified for the days ahead, these most triumphant days of the Triumph of your Immaculate Heart! Thank you, dearest Mother!!!

Mary TV: June 22, 2017 Reflection - 36th Anniversary Novean - Day 8

  (c) Mateo Ivankovic 2017
Our Lady's great love for us!

J.M.J.
June 22, 2017
36th Anniversary Novena Day Eight

Dear Family of Mary!

"If you knew how much I love you, you would cry with joy. When anyone is before you, and asks you something, you will give it to him. I am before so many hearts, but they remain closed. Pray so that the world receives my love." (June 21, 1984 Jelena)

Our Lady has come to give us her love. Let me share the witness of Musician Dorijan Skrobonja, posted on the parish website (http://www.medjugorje.hr/en/news/the-experience-of-one-medjugorje-pilgrim,6888.html ) :

"The special encounter with Medjugorje took place four years ago, when I came on a pilgrimage with my family. We always came here to give thanks to God and to receive blessings. I never thought that anything special should happen to me, but that was exactly what happened. My wife and I were going to the church, to pray there. I knelt and I began to pray. Suddenly, I felt warmth, love and gentleness that were being poured on me. It was in that moment that Mother conveyed a message to me: Don't you know how much I love you; why do you still question my love? I began to cry because of fear and embarrassment; I could feel how small my faith was. All of my worries, all of my burdens were released, I felt completely free, as if I was in the world of complete and utter love, warmth and tenderness. I felt ashamed to cry and I could feel people staring at me. My wife could see that something extraordinary was taking place. It was that same night that I wrote the poem to Our Lady: 'Tonight I stood beneath Thee, o Mother, I stood beneath Thee, Pure Tenderness'," said Dorijan who is a member of Aledory band together with his brother and they witness their faith with the music. "We are trying to live the messages of the Queen of Peace. Sometimes we are able to do that, sometimes we fail. I regret for not having been able to come to Medjugorje more often."

This is a beautiful description of what it is like to encounter the love of Our Mother, Mary. She is waiting to pour out her love on all of us. We have only to ask! Let us pray!

The Annunciation
"Dear children! Today I wish to give you my own love. You do not know, dear children, how great my love is, and you do not know how to accept it. In various ways I wish to show it to you, but you, dear children, do not recognize it. You do not understand my words with your heart and neither are you able to comprehend my love. Dear children, accept me in your life and so you will be able to accept all I am saying to you and to which I am calling you. Thank you for having responded to my call."(May 22, 1986)

The Visitation
"Dear children! With joy in the heart I love you all and call you to draw closer to my Immaculate Heart so I can draw you still closer to my Son Jesus, and that He can give you His peace and love, which are nourishment for each one of you. Open yourselves, little children, to prayer - open yourselves to my love. I am your mother and cannot leave you alone in wandering and sin. You are called, little children, to be my children, my beloved children, so I can present you all to my Son. Thank you for having responded to my call."(June 25, 2013)

The Birth of Jesus
"Dear children, I am coming to you as a mother and I desire that in me, as in a mother, you may find your abode, consolation and rest. Therefore, my children, apostles of my love, pray. Pray with humble devotion, obedience and complete trust in the Heavenly Father. Trust as I have trusted when it was said to me that I will bring the blessing of the promise. May out of your hearts, from your lips, always come forth 'May your will be done!' Therefore, trust and pray so that I can intercede for you before the Lord, for him to give you the Heavenly Blessing and fill you with the Holy Spirit. Then he will be able to help all those who do not know the Lord - you, apostles of my love, will help them to call him 'Father' with complete trust. Pray for your shepherds and place your trust in their blessed hands. Thank you."(March 02, 2014)

The Presentation
"Dear children! I am here, I am among you. I am looking at you, am smiling at you and I love you in the way that only a mother can. Through the Holy Spirit who comes through my purity, I see your hearts and I offer them to my Son. Already for a long time I have been asking of you to be my apostles, to pray for those who have not come to know God's love. I am asking for prayer said out of love, prayer which carries out works and sacrifices. Do not waste time thinking about whether you are worthy to be my apostles. The Heavenly Father will judge everyone; and you, love Him and listen to Him. I know that all of this confuses you, even my very stay among you, but accept it with joy and pray that you may comprehend that you are worthy to work for Heaven. My love is upon you. Pray that my love may win in all hearts, because that is the love which forgives, gives and never stops. Thank you."(February 02, 2015)

The Finding in the Temple
"Dear children! As a mother, I desire to be of help to you. With my motherly love, I desire to help you to open your heart and to put my Son in the first place in it. Through your love for my Son and through your prayer, I desire for God's light to illuminate you and God's mercy to fill you. In this way, I desire for the darkness, and the shadow of death which wants to encompass and mislead you, to be driven away. I desire for you to feel the joy of the blessing of God's promise. You, children of man, you are God's children - you are my children. Therefore, my children, set out on the ways on which my love leads you, teaches you humility and wisdom, and finds the way to the Heavenly Father. Pray with me for those who do not accept me and do not follow me - those who, because of hardness of their hearts, cannot feel the joy of humility, devotion, peace and love - the joy of my Son. Pray that your shepherds, with their blessed hands, may always give you the joy of God's blessing. Thank you."(March 18, 2014)

Mary TV: June 21, 2017 Reflection - 36th Anniversary Novena Day 7

  (c) Mateo Ivankovic 2016

J.M.J.
June 21, 2017
36th Anniversary Novena Day Seven

Dear Family of Mary!

Our Lady has been coming to us for 35 years, injecting into our tired and discouraged world the gift of Divine Hope. God has sent her to be a light in the darkness of sin and faithlessness. Now we are asked to carry that hope into our own spheres of influence. Hope is like fresh air, it revives our spirits. May we receive the hope Our Lady brings and give it to others:

"Dear children! Today I call you to renew prayer and fasting with even greater enthusiasm until prayer becomes a joy for you. Little children, the one who prays is not afraid of the future and the one who fasts is not afraid of evil. Once again, I repeat to you: only through prayer and fasting also wars can be stopped - wars of your unbelief and fear for the future. I am with you and am teaching you little children: your peace and hope are in God. That is why draw closer to God and put Him in the first place in your life. Thank you for having responded to my call."(January 25, 2001)

Let us pray:

The Annunciation
"Dear children! Also today I call you to pray for peace. Pray with the heart, little children, and do not lose hope because God loves His creatures. He desires to save you, one by one, through my coming here. I call you to the way of holiness. Pray, and in prayer you are open to God's will; in this way, in everything you do, you realize God's plan in you and through you. Thank you for having responded to my call."(March 25, 2003)

The Visitation
"Dear children! Also today I call you, in this time of grace, to pray for little Jesus to be born in your heart. May He, who is peace itself, give peace to the entire world through you. Therefore, little children, pray without ceasing for this turbulent world without hope, so that you may become witnesses of peace for all. May hope begin to flow through your hearts as a river of grace. Thank you for having responded to my call."(November 25, 2008)

The Birth of Jesus
"Dear children! I look at you and I see in your heart death without hope, restlessness and hunger. There is no prayer or trust in God, that is why the Most High permits me to bring you hope and joy. Open yourselves. Open your hearts to God's mercy and He will give you everything you need and will fill your hearts with peace, because He is peace and your hope. Thank you for having responded to my call."(November 25, 2010)

The Presentation
"Dear children! Anew, in a motherly way, I am calling you not to be of a hard heart. Do not shut your eyes to the warnings which the Heavenly Father sends to you out of love. Do you love Him above all else? Do you repent for having often forgotten that the Heavenly Father, out of His great love, sent his Son to redeem us by the Cross? Do you repent for not yet having accepted the message? My children, do not resist the love of my Son. Do not resist hope and peace. Along with your prayer and fasting, by His cross, my Son will cast away the darkness that wants to surround you and come to rule over you. He will give you the strength for a new life. Living it according to my Son, you will be a blessing and a hope to all those sinners who wander in the darkness of sin. My children, keep vigil. I, as a mother, am keeping vigil with you. I am especially praying and watching over those whom my Son called to be light-bearers and carriers of hope for you - for your shepherds. Thank you." (March 02, 2013)

The Finding in the Temple
"Dear children, Remember - for I am telling you - that love will win. I know that many of you are losing hope because around you, you see suffering, pain, jealousy, envy... but, I am your mother. I am in the Kingdom but am also here with you. My Son is sending me anew to help you. Therefore, do not lose hope; instead, follow me - because the victory of my heart is in the name of God. My beloved Son is thinking of you as he has always thought of you. Believe him and live him. He is the life of the world. My children, to live my Son means to live the Gospel. This is not easy. This means love, forgiveness and sacrifice. This purifies and it opens the Kingdom. Sincere prayer, which is not only words but is a prayer which the heart speaks, will help you. Likewise fasting (will help you), because it is still more of love, forgiveness and sacrifice. Therefore, do not lose hope but follow me. I am imploring you anew to pray for your shepherds so that they may always look to my Son who was the first Shepherd of the world and whose family was the entire world."(December 02, 2014)

News and Stories from Sister Emmanuel: June Report 2017

June 15, 2017

Dear Children of Medjugorje, praised be Jesus and Mary!

1. On
June 2 2017, Mirjana- received her monthly apparition at the Blue Cross in the midst of a large crowd.

After the apparition, she shared the following message from Our Lady:

"Dear children, as in the other places where I have come to you, also here I am calling you to prayer. Pray for those who do not know my Son, for those who have not come to know the love of God, against sin, for the consecrated - for those whom my Son called to have love and the spirit of strength for you, for the Church. Pray to my Son, and the love which you experience from His nearness will give you the strength to make you ready for the works of love which you will do in His name. My children, be ready. This time is a turning point. That is why I am calling you anew to faith and hope. I am showing you the way by which you need to go, and those are the words of the Gospel. Apostles of my love, the world is in such need of your arms raised towards Heaven, towards my Son, towards the Heavenly Father. Much humility and purity of heart are needed. Have trust in my Son and know that you can always be better. My motherly heart desires for you, apostles of my love, to be little lights of the world, to illuminate there where darkness wants to begin to reign, to show the true way by your prayer and love, to save souls. I am with you. Thank you."

What a beautiful evangelical message! "Keep your belts tied and your lamps lit." "You must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an unexpected hour." (Lk 12: 35 & 40).

Our Lady specifies neither what awaits us nor what we must prepare for, but for 36 years she has made our work easy by giving us all the elements in order to be ready and experience true peace. Everyone will be able to understand that exhortation by reading over her messages while invoking the Holy Spirit.

With much finesse Our Lady comforts those who, having drunk from the source of grace that Medjugorje is, could have let doubt grow in them. Yes indeed, she is The One who came to Rue du Bac (Paris), Lourdes, Fatima, Guadalupe (Mexico), Kibého (Rwanda), and many other places around the world. She is the same Lady! Our Lady.

2. Goodbye Piercings!

An Italian priest came to Medjugorje for Pentecost with a group of young people. When he saw that most of them had tattoos and piercings, he took each one of them privately to one side and explained to them how God asks his people not to make tattoos, nor incisions. (Leviticus 19:28 "You are not to make incisions in your flesh on account of the dead nor submit to cuts or tattoos. I am the LORD")

But no one gave up their piercings. During the night, he spent hours praying and entrusted them all to Our Lady, telling her, "It is for you to act, as for me, I failed!" The next morning the group went to the Blue Cross for the apparition of Mary to Mirjana. Back at the pansion, what a surprise! Each one of these youth came to the priest to give him their piercings. Not one was missing!

The Priest smiled, and speaking to Our Lady, he told her, "What I could not do, you did!" He put all the piercings in an envelop and put them down at the site of the apparitions. Our Lady likes flowers a lot, but when we give up something harmful, it seems that she appreciates it even more!
3. Why every day?

I sometimes hear these words: "How strange that Our Lady comes to Medjugorje every day, when she is usually so discreet?  I doubt it's really her!"

I have noticed that people who say this are generally over 60.  Conversely, I have never heard a young person speak in this way. Why is that? You will quickly understand why when you read this short set of questions that I ask people who are in doubt. Their answers are often the same.

- When you were little, at school, did more than 60% of your classmates have parents who were divorced, and suffer cruel inner wounds?

- Oh, no! I knew maximum one or two children with divorced parents.

- At the age of 10, did teachers bring condoms to class and explain how to use them?

- At 10, I didn't even know they existed!

- When you were little, did you constantly have headphones on, with potential unlimited access to all sorts of programs that could be violent, perverse, pornographic, or even Satanic? (Keeping in mind that some music bands spread subliminal messages to incite people to perversion and suicide.)

- Oh, no! In my time, no one used headphones.

- Did people try to sell you drugs outside of school? Were there drug dealers among you?

- As for me, I never saw that, although dealers probably already existed.

- In your "Catholic" school, did you take field trips to Disney World, for example, on Good Friday?

- Impossible! At the time, we respected religious Feast days. Besides, my religion teacher was a believer.

-When you were a teenager, had you already been beaten up in the street without any reason? Or bullied for money while the Police, scared, didn't do anything about it?

- These things happened, but they were very rare.

- Did "Gay Pride" exist then?

- Oh no! In those days, it was another world! We could parade in the streets of my town in our communicant's frocks with no problem. There was a long procession for the feast of Corpus Christi, and we would throw rose petals to Jesus in the monstrance. But now it's forbidden.  "It would disturb traffic" they say.

- As a child and as an adolescent, did you talk among friends about instructions for "assisted suicide"? Did you know about "the choking game"? Role-playing games?

- No! Never heard of them then.

- When you started going to University, how many of your classmates had already committed suicide?

- None! But you would hear of some extremely rare cases.

- When you were 5 years old, did anyone at school suggest to you to change your gender? Were you told you could marry someone of the same sex?

- You must be kidding!  It was unthinkable!

- As a child, did you have the legal possibility to send one of your parents to jail by saying they had hit you?

- I'm beginning to understand, Sister...

- Wait, that's not all! As a young teenager, were you allowed to go to nightclubs until the middle of the night? And if so, did you then run the risk of waking up the next morning in the bed of some stranger with no memory of the night before, after having been given drugs mixed with the drinks you were generously offered?

- Hum....sorry, what is that?

- And I'm not mentioning the "Satan Fests", "Hell Fests", and their catastrophic consequences for young people! I'm not even mentioning abortion and euthanasia.

Well my friend, now, be aware that your grandchildren who are between the ages of 4 and 25 today are bombarded with these kind of proposals, which damage them deeply and sometimes destroy them. So then... Are you still going to reproach the Mother of God, who is also their Mother, for coming every day for 3 short minutes in order to bless them, help them and pray for them, while Satan is live and active 24/7?

- I hadn't thought of that... I'll think about it...

- Thinking is not enough. I beg you, please protect your children and let Heaven protect them! This is a critical time, be ready!

Dearest Gospa,
You, undaunted, have been coming every day for 36 years, regardless of what people may say about you. THANK YOU!

I beg you, please keep up coming to us, we need you so badly!

Thank you so very much for all the good you have done since June 24, 1981, thank you for so many lives saved, so many families reconciled, so many vocations to Christian marriage and to the priesthood, so many hearts that could finally find peace.

Thank you for welcoming so many of your children who were carrying heavy crosses! You comforted them and allowed them to taste a new happiness in their life! The list would be too long.

Dearest Gospa, as the end of your apparitions is approaching, as the revelation of the secrets are not to tarry for many more decades, I beg you, continue to pour upon our world the grace of your daily comings, and please forgive our guilty indifference to your calls. We implore you, don't tire in holding us against your motherly and Immaculate Heart!

Blessed Virgin of Fatima and Medjugorje, don't quit! On behalf of many young kids, I say to you THANK YOU for being there for them every day, while most of their homes are empty.  Please pray to your Son, so that His infinite mercy may spare us from degeneration, corruption, calamities, wars, and especially the death of the soul. To you, His Mother, He has given such power over His heart! He cannot resist a single one of your supplications.

Yes, most loving Mother, please answer our call. We love you immensely!
Sister Emmanuel +
(Translated from French)

From June 16th - 24th we pray the Novena to prepare for the 36th anniversary of the apparitions in Medjugorje.  Do not miss it, even if you started late.  We may offer to the Blessed Mother an extra rosary, her litanies, a little/ big act of charity... I'm sure your ideas to make her happy will flow in your heart.  Please note down that the feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, in this year of Fatima, falls on Saturday June 24th, which rarely ever happens!

P.S. 1 - Pope Francis and Medjugorje!
In the plane at Lisbon, Pope Francis said that he is waiting for the conclusion of Bishop Hosier's (the Pope's special envoy) report about the pastoral care to be organised in Medjugoje.  Monseigneur Hosier has now finished this work.  Therefore we are waiting for his meeting with the Holy Father and for the decisions that will come from it.  Let us pray with confidence and in special thanksgiving for this good Bishop chosen by the Pope!

P.S. 2 - Our Next Missions: Please pray!
Our next missions:  Spain in September; Italy in October; Argentina in November.  Your intercession is more than welcome!

P.S. 3 - Youth Festival in Medjugorje!
The Youth Festival will take place from August 1st (at 6pm) to August 6th (morning). Come in great numbers, the program is wonderful!  Fr Jacques Philippe, a member of my Community of the Beatitudes, will be the main speaker.  Please offer to send a young person who cannot afford it, you may save a life by doing so! Priests, come in great numbers, your priesthood will be renewed!

P.S. 4 - The People of Medjugorje Open Their Doors!
The pilgrimage of handicapped people coming from various countries ends today.  They came for the sixth time and were accommodated by the villagers who opened their doors to welcome them for free with their families.  This is a concrete and beautiful response to Mary's message: "Be my extended arms to those that are in need of you".
