For the sake of His sorrowful Passion,
have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Holy Saturday - Divine Mercy Novena Day 2
Dear Family of Mary!
Today we wait with Our Lady near the tomb. We ponder the incredible price that Jesus paid for our sins. We marvel at His great love, which He pours out upon us, especially through our priests and religious. Today the Novena prayers are for our priests and religious. They are the bridge between us and God. On this day when Jesus lies in the tomb, we wonder what it would be like without them. Listen to what Our Lady says to us:
April 2, 2007
"Dear children! Do not be hard hearted towards the mercy of God, which has been pouring out upon you for so long a time. In this special time of prayer, permit me to transform your hearts so that you may help me to have my Son resurrect in all hearts, and that my heart may triumph. Thank you!"
Mirjana said, Our Lady added:
"Your shepherds need your prayers." Our Lady blessed all of us, and all religious articles, and once again emphasized that she gives her motherly blessing. But the greatest blessing is the blessing from the priests.
Saint Faustina carried the mission to pray for priests, and in her Diary shared this prayer for priests:
O my Jesus, I beg You on behalf of the whole Church: Grant it love and the light of Your Spirit, and give power to the words of priests so that hardened hearts might be brought to repentance and return to You, O Lord. Lord, give us holy priests; You yourself maintain them in holiness. O Divine and Great High Priest, may the power of Your mercy accompany them everywhere and protect them from the devil's traps and snares which are continually being set for the souls of priests. May the power of Your mercy, O Lord, shatter and bring to naught all that might tarnish the sanctity of priests, for You can do all things. (Diary, 1052)
God's Mercy passes through the hands of our priests. Let's pray very much for them today.
Divine Mercy Novena - Day Two

Today bring to Me THE SOULS OF PRIESTS AND RELIGIOUS, and immerse them in My unfathomable mercy. It was they who gave Me strength to endure My bitter Passion. Through them as through channels My mercy flows out upon mankind.

Most Merciful Jesus, from whom comes all that is good, increase Your grace in men and women consecrated to Your service, that they may perform worthy works of mercy; and that all who see them may glorify the Father of Mercy who is in heaven.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the company of chosen ones in Your vineyard-upon the souls of priests and religious; and endow them with the strength of Your blessing. For the love of the Heart of Your Son in which they are enfolded, impart to them Your power and light, that they may be able to guide others in the way of salvation and with one voice sing praise to Your boundless mercy for ages without end. Amen.

Good Friday
Divine Mercy Novena - Day 1

Dear Family of Mary!

Today we begin the Divine Mercy Novena. It is a very powerful novena, sent through St. Maria Faustina Kowalska. Jesus made it clear through St. Faustina that He wanted to save all souls and bring them to heaven. But they had to be told! They needed to know about His Mercy.
St. Faustina was given the great mission to spread the Mercy of Jesus to all souls:
On one occasion, I heard these words: My daughter, tell the whole world about My inconceivable mercy. I desire that the Feast of Mercy be a refuge and shelter for all souls, and especially for poor sinners. On that day the very depths of My tender mercy are open. I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the fount of My mercy. The soul that will go to Confession and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. On that day all the divine floodgates through which grace flow are opened. Let no soul fear to draw near to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet. My mercy is so great that no mind, be it of man or of angel, will be able to fathom it throughout all eternity.
Everything that exists has come forth from the very depths of My most tender mercy. Every soul in its relation to Me will contemplate My love and mercy throughout eternity. The Feast of Mercy emerged from My very depths of tenderness. It is My desire that it be solemnly celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter. Mankind will not have peace until it turns to the Fount of My Mercy. (Diary 699)
Our Lady is calling all souls to herself, that they might be healed and changed and made open to the graces of her Son's Mercy as well. She told us:
February 25, 2007 "Dear children! Open your heart to God's mercy in this Lenten time. The heavenly Father desires to deliver each of you from the slavery of sin. Therefore, little children, make good use of this time and through meeting with God in confession, leave sin and decide for holiness. Do this out of love for Jesus, who redeemed you all with his blood, that you may be happy and in peace. Do not forget, little children: your freedom is your weakness, therefore follow my messages with seriousness. Thank you for having responded to my call."
Let us pray:
Divine Mercy Novena - Day One:

Intention: Today bring to Me ALL MANKIND, ESPECIALLY ALL SINNERS, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. In this way you will console Me in the bitter grief into which the loss of souls plunges Me.

Novena Prayers: Most Merciful Jesus, whose very nature it is to have compassion on us and to forgive us, do not look upon our sins but upon our trust which we place in Your infinite goodness. Receive us all into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart, and never let us escape from It. We beg this of You by Your love which unites You to the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon all mankind and especially upon poor sinners, all enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion show us Your mercy, that we may praise the omnipotence of Your mercy for ever and ever.
Amen.

Mary TV: March 29, 2018 Reflection - Holy Thursday

(c)Mateo Ivankovic 2016

March 29, 2018
Holy Thursday

Dear Family of Mary!

Our Lady teaches us about her Son, present, Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity in the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, the Eucharist. As we adore Jesus tonight maybe we could listen to Our Lady's words about Jesus in the Eucharist (Even just one message is enough!):
March 15, 1984 "Tonight also, dear children, I am grateful to you in a special way for being here. Unceasingly adore the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar. I am always present when the faithful are adoring. Special graces are then being received."

March 25, 2008 "Dear children! I call you to work on your personal conversion. You are still far from meeting with God in your heart. Therefore, spend all the more time in prayer and Adoration of Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar, for Him to change you and to put into your hearts a living faith and a desire for eternal life. Everything is passing, little children, only God is not passing. I am with you and I encourage you with love. Thank you for having responded to my call." April 02, 2015 "Dear children, I have chosen you, my apostles, because all of you carry something beautiful within you. You can help me to have the love, for the sake of which my Son died and then resurrected, win anew. Therefore, I am calling you, my apostles, to try to see something good in every creature of God, in all of my children, and to try to understand them. My children, you are all brothers and sisters through the same Holy Spirit. You, filled with love for my Son, can speak of what you know to all those who have not come to know that love. You have come to know the love of my Son, you have comprehended His Resurrection, with joy you cast your gaze towards Him. My motherly desire is for all of my children to be united in love for Jesus. Therefore, I am calling you, my apostles, to live the Eucharist with joy, because in the Eucharist my Son gives Himself to you anew and with His example shows the love and sacrifice towards the neighbor. Thank you." July 02, 2015 "Dear children, I am calling you to spread the faith in my Son - your faith. You, my children illuminated by the Holy Spirit, my apostles, transmit it to others - to those who do not believe, who do not know, who do not want to know - but for that you must pray a lot for the gift of love, because love is the mark of true faith - and you will be apostles of my love. Love always, anew, revives the pain and the joy of the Eucharist, it revives the pain of the Passion of my Son, by which He showed you what it means to love immeasurably; it revives the joy for having left you His body and blood to feed you with Himself - and in this way, to be one with you. Looking at you with tenderness, I feel immeasurable love which strengthens me in my desire to bring you to a firm faith. Firm faith will give you joy and happiness on earth and in the end the encounter with my Son. This is His desire. Therefore, live Him, live love, live the light that always illuminates you in the Eucharist. I implore you to pray a lot for your shepherds, to pray so as to have all the more love for them because my Son gave them to you to feed you with His body and to teach you love. Therefore, also you are to love them. But, my children, remember, love means to endure and to give, and never, ever to judge. Thank you." December 02, 2015 "Dear children, I am always with you because my Son entrusted you to me. And you, my children, you need me, you are seeking me, you are coming to me and you are bringing joy to my motherly heart. I have, and always will have, love for you; for you who suffer and who offer your pains and sufferings to my Son and to me. My love seeks the love of all of my children, and my children seek my love. Through love, Jesus seeks unity between Heaven and earth; between the Heavenly Father and you, my children - His Church. Therefore, it is necessary to pray much, to pray and love the Church to which you belong. Now, the Church is suffering and needs apostles who by loving unity, by witnessing and giving, show the ways of God. The Church needs apostles who by living the Eucharist with the heart do great works; it needs you, my apostles of love. My children, from the very beginning the Church was persecuted and betrayed, but day by day it grew. It is indestructible because my Son gave it a heart - the Eucharist, and the light of His resurrection shone and will continue to shine upon it. Therefore, do not be afraid. Pray for your shepherds that they may have the strength and the love to be bridges of salvation. Thank you." July 02, 2016 "Dear children, my real, living presence among you should make you happy because this is the great love of my Son. He is sending me among you so that, with a motherly love, I may grant you safety; that you may comprehend that pain and joy, suffering and love, make your soul live intensely; that I may call you anew to glorify the Heart of Jesus, the heart of faith, the Eucharist. From day to day through the centuries, my Son, alive, returns among you - He returns to you, though He has never left you. When one of you, my children, returns to Him, my motherly heart leaps with joy. Therefore, my children, return to the Eucharist, to my Son. The way to my Son is difficult, full of renunciations, but at the end, there is always the light. I understand your pains and sufferings, and with motherly love I wipe your tears. Trust in my Son, because He will do for you what you would not even know how to ask for. You, my children, you should be concerned only for your soul, because it is the only thing on earth that belongs to you. You will bring it, dirty or clean, before the Heavenly Father. Remember, faith in the love of my Son will always be rewarded. I implore you, in a special way, to pray for those whom my Son called to live according to Him and to love their flock. Thank you."

Mary TV: March 28, 2018 Reflection -Be proud that you are baptized...

(c)Mateo Ivankovic 2018

March 28, 2018
Wednesday of Holy Week

Dear Family of Mary!
"Dear children! I am calling you to be with me in prayer in this time of grace when darkness is fighting against the light. Pray, little children, confess and begin a new life in grace. Decide for God and He will lead you towards holiness; and the cross will be a sign of victory and hope for you. Be proud that you are baptized and grateful in your heart that you are a part of God's plan. Thank you for having responded to my call." (March 25, 2018 message)

"Be proud that you are baptized and grateful in your heart that you are a part of God's plan..."

Baptism is at the heart of the Easter Liturgy! Every Easter Vigil, Catechumens are baptized before the whole congregation, in a long and meaningful Rite! This Baptism is the reception of Christ's salvation. Indeed, we should be very proud that we have been baptized. We have been rescued, adopted, given a heavenly family, and counted as one of God's children.

In the Office of Readings for Holy Week, we read St. Basil's wonderful explanation of Baptism. I couldn't resist sharing it with you:
From the book On the Holy Spirit by Saint Basil, bishop
(Cap. 15, 35: PG 32, 127-130)
By one death and resurrection the world was saved
When mankind was estranged from him by disobedience, God our Savior made a plan for raising us from our fall and restoring us to friendship with himself. According to this plan Christ came in the flesh, he showed us the gospel way of life, he suffered, died on the cross, was buried and rose from the dead. He did this so that we could be saved by imitation of him, and recover our original status as sons of God by adoption.
To attain holiness, then, we must not only pattern our lives on Christ's by being gentle, humble and patient, we must also imitate him in his death. Taking Christ for his model, Paul said that he wanted to become like him in his death in the hope that he too would be raised from death to life.
We imitate Christ's death by being buried with him in baptism. If we ask what this kind of burial means and what benefit we may hope to derive from it, it means first of all making a complete break with our former way of life, and our Lord himself said that this cannot be done unless a man is born again. In other words, we have to begin a new life, and we cannot do so until our previous life has been brought to an end. When runners reach the turning point on a racecourse, they have to pause briefly before they can go back in the opposite direction. So also when we wish to reverse the direction of our lives there must be a pause, or a death, to mark the end of one life and the beginning of another.
Our descent into hell takes place when we imitate the burial of Christ by our baptism. The bodies of the baptized are in a sense buried in the water as a symbol of their renunciation of the sins of their unregenerate nature. As the Apostle says: The circumcision you have undergone is not an operation performed by human hands, but the complete stripping away of your unregenerate nature. This is the circumcision that Christ gave us, and it is accomplished by our burial with him in baptism. Baptism cleanses the soul from the pollution of worldly thoughts and inclinations: You will wash me, says the psalmist, and I shall be whiter than snow. We receive this saving baptism only once because there was only one death and one resurrection for the salvation of the world, and baptism is its symbol. (from On the Holy Spirit by St. Basil)

During the Baptismal Liturgy on Easter Vigil, we all renew our Baptismal Vows. We can begin a new life of grace, as Our Lady calls us to do in her message. What a great moment of grace!!! I can't wait!

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

Mary TV: March 27, 2018 Reflection -Be with me in prayer...

(c)Mateo Ivankovic 2018

March 27, 2018
Tuesday of Holy Week

Dear Family of Mary!

"Dear children! I am calling you to be with me in prayer in this time of grace when darkness is fighting against the light. Pray, little children, confess and begin a new life in grace. Decide for God and He will lead you towards holiness; and the cross will be a sign of victory and hope for you. Be proud that you are baptized and grateful in your heart that you are a part of God's plan. Thank you for having responded to my call." (March 25, 2018)

I believe that this message is a call to battle. Our Lady is calling us to join her in the fight against the darkness:

"Dear children! I am calling you to be with me in prayer in this time of grace when darkness is fighting against the light..."

She says to us: "be with me in prayer."

Prayer is the battle ground in our day. The Rosary is the preferred weapon in this battle. But how often do we realize that we are called to pray WITH Our Lady? To pray our Rosary WITH her?

It seems to me that I am more often praying TO Our Lady. I am asking her for this and that, interceding for those I am concerned about, those who need her help. But to pray WITH Our Lady? Not usually on my radar.

Yet she asks us to pray WITH her!! She made this request in another message from December 2, 2012:

My children, help me in my motherly battle and pray with me that sinners may become aware of their sins and repent sincerely. Pray also for those whom my Son has chosen and consecrated in His name. Thank you." 12/02/12

She asked us then to help her in her motherly battle and pray with her for sinners. We see that praying with Mary means to join her in her intercession, in her intentions, for what she sees is most important at this time. To pray with Mary is to be united in heart with her and put her in charge of our prayer. To be with her in her prayer!!!

This idea of praying with Mary reminds me of a couple of moments in Scripture. One is at the foot of the Cross, when Our Lady was locked in deep suffering, united with Jesus, but she was not alone. There were women with her, and John. They were praying WITH Mary! They were joining her prayer in that terrible and incredible moment when Jesus was saving us all. What must it have been like to pray WITH Mary at the foot of the Cross where our salvation was won? Maybe we can think about that on Good Friday.

Another moment was the Upper Room, where the Apostles had gathered after Jesus ascended into Heaven. Our Lady was there, praying. And the Apostles were praying WITH her. They were part of her prayer. And look what happened to the Apostles on Pentecost! They were inundated with the Holy Spirit! That is also what happens when we pray WITH Mary.

So, let's try to respond to her request during this powerful time of Holy Week and Easter. Let's pray WITH Mary. Let's realize that this is a time when the darkness is fighting against the light, and join Mary's prayer. Because it is her prayer that will defeat the enemy, not our puny prayers. She is the one who has been set at enmity with the Devil. She is the one who will crush his head. Her prayer will defeat the darkness Let's pray WITH Our Lady, united with her in love and devotion, in consecration to her. Let's pray WITH Mary!

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

The Medjugorje Deception
A Shocking New Revelation

Denis Nolan

Almost since it commenced over three decades ago, the Medjugorje phenomenon has lived under a cloud. There were two competing narratives "explaining" it.

From the beginning, you had the obvious, straightforward narrative: the Blessed Virgin Mary was appearing to six children (now adults) following a pattern found in famous apparitions of the past. The appearances were longer than usual but then again the "need" was greater than ever before. The visionaries never retracted or contradicted their testimonies over the decades - a salient fact given the traumatic, continuing attacks on them. They were clinically tested during the "ecstasies" and found to be "normal." The site of the apparitions itself drew millions of pilgrims, believers and unbelievers, laity and clerics. Countless conversions, a variety of miracles and continuous confessions and Masses made it a spiritual center of gravity in the wasteland that was the West. This was why the famed exorcist Fr. Gabriel Amorth called Medjugorje "a fortress against Satan." It was also why St. John Paul II and St. Mother Teresa both became strong believers in the authenticity of Our Lady's apparitions there.

But then a counter-narrative emerged: the children were lying; they were tools of the rebellious Franciscans who used them to undermine their bishop; they were simply seeking to personally enrich themselves. It was all a fraud. The power of a narrative depends on its source. And in this case the source was formidable. It was the Ordinary of the diocese in which the phenomenon was taking place, the local bishop. And concerning the authenticity of apparitions, in Church history it was always the local bishop who had the last word.

Not surprisingly, the Catholic media and most traditionalist Catholics gravitated to the Bishop's counter-narrative. Bishop Zanic, the bishop of Mostar, the diocese in which Medjugorje was located, said he believed in the apparitions of Our Lady in Lourdes and Fatima but not in Medjugorje. Medjugorje, he said, was not only fraudulent but likely to undermine other authentic apparitions. It was the word of the duly authorized Church leader against that of a clutch of unknown children in a remote region. The pilgrims kept coming but the traditionalists used the multitude of "facts" supplied by the Bishop to create elaborate critiques and refutations of the authenticity of the apparitions. Others among the faithful who were impressed by the phenomenon decided to remain neutral given the controversy. After all, where there's smoke there's fire. There's two sides to every story. And the Bishop was giving his side.

Yet, discerning observers could have seen that things were not quite so black and white. For the Holy See had removed Medjugorje from the jurisdiction of the local bishop - a first in Church history. It should have been obvious that the Vatican did not trust him to do a fair job. It was not clear why. But the local bishop was no longer "in charge" when it came to Medjugorje. This did not stop Bishop Zanic and his successor Bishop Ratko Peric from continuing their war against Medjugorje and its principals. Even with the Vatican taking over the investigation and approving the authenticity of the first seven apparitions, the cloud created and sustained by the local bishop remained in place casting a baleful glance on every positive pronouncement. The Bishop's drumbeaters among the traditionalists churned out stories, pamphlets and books promoting his counter-narrative and turning Medjugorje into a source of division among Catholics everywhere.

This, we might say, is the status quo. But everything just changed in 2018.

Shocking new revelations have vaporized the foundations of the counter-narrative. Previously classified government documents and high-level communist government witnesses have been brought into the light of day. And they tell us an "untold story" that is alternately appalling and infuriating. Bishop Zanic and Bishop Peric, according to the documents and witnesses, were working not just with the communist government of Yugoslavia but the Soviet Union's KGB to destroy Medjugorje. Bishop Zanic changed his initially favorable stance on Medjugorje because the communists had incriminating information on him and in return for their silence he led the assault on the phenomenon. Bishop Peric (who was also given this information) asked the KGB to destroy Medjugorje even if it was true because of his animosity for the Franciscans. The traditionalists who "bought" the bishops' counter-narrative were simply dupes peddling communist propaganda. Worst of all, the faithful who "fell" for the propaganda were deprived of a source of grace.

The whole sordid story with copies of the documents and the testimonies of KGB and Yugoslavian secret service agents can be found at https://www.medjugorje-to-fatima.com?wix-vod-video-id=6dd1b0ec26c448a487b098ac50150e7e&wix-vod-comp-id=comp-iwccusfc# .. Younger viewers of today may have a hard time imagining the state of the world in 1981 when the events of Medjugorje began. But it was a time when totalitarian communism and the Soviet Union, a global super-power, dominated Eastern Europe. This included Yugoslavia where Medjugorje was then located. The Soviets and the Yugoslavs rightly guessed that Medjugorje represented a mortal threat to their hegemony. They guessed this almost from the beginning - a prophetic insight we might say. So they did all in their power to end it.

The KGB and the Yugoslavs worked with high-level Vatican officials who promised to help them in this mission but then complained that Pope John Paul II was frustrating their efforts (remember that the assassination attempt on this Pope was engineered, according to many intelligence assessments, by the KGB). As in all communist countries, potential enemies of the regime were always under surveillance. This included bishops. In this manner, they were able to assemble incriminating information on Bishop Zanic which would have led to his dismissal and humiliation if publicized. The Vatican officials were, in fact, aware of this information as was Bishop Zanic's successor Bishop Peric. In return for Bishop Zanic's zealous efforts to exterminate Medjugorje, the communists kept their promise of silence. Meanwhile they cultivated Peric who won from them the promise to destroy the Franciscans whom he considered his enemies. In return, he said he would continue the war on Medjugorje specifically saying that he would do so whether or not there was truth to it.

So this is how the counter-narrative emerged. It was no different than the way in which the communists through the East German Secret Service built a false but powerful counter-narrative about Pope Pius XII alleging that he turned a deaf ear to the Holocaust. This was the Pope who was thanked by the Chief Rabbi of Rome at the end of World War II for saving thousands of Jewish lives. But such is the power of counter-narratives created by repressive regimes and peddled by gullible media that today there is a cloud over the head of this holy and heroic pope.

The Medjugorje deception created and sustained by ecclesiastical officials and directed by enemies of the Church has now been exposed. To his enduring credit, for which we should be ever grateful, St. John Paul II, who personally knew how the communists operated, protected Medjugorje. Let us express our gratitude too to the visionaries who have remained faithful to the mission entrusted to them by Our Lady in the face of slander from their own shepherd, who they continued praying for and never criticized.

It is now the mission of the faithful to help the Church recover and respond to the invitation from Our Lady being offered through Medjugorje:

"Dear children! Today I call you to pray and fast for my intentions, because Satan wants to destroy my plan. Here I began with this parish and invited the entire world. Many have responded, but there is an enormous number of those who do not want to hear or accept my call. Therefore, you who have said 'yes', be strong and resolute. Thank you for having responded to my call.

The Pope of the secret of Fatima told us in his will, "Victory when it comes, will be a victory through Maria!" He had prophetic vision, telling American bishops when addressing the Philadelphia Eucharistic Congress five years before Our Lady's apparitions began: "We are now standing in the face of the greatest historical confrontation humanity has ever experienced. I do not think that wide circles of American Society, or wide circles of the Christian Community realize this fully. We are now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-church, between the Gospel and the anti-gospel, between Christ and the antichrist. This confrontation lies within the plans of Divine Providence. It is, therefore, in God's Plan, and is a trial which the Church must take up, and face courageously..."Five years later Our Lady started coming to Medjugore:

"Dear children, my real, living presence among you should make you happy because this is the great love of my Son. He is sending me among you so that, with a motherly love, I may grant you safety!"

It made Pope John Paul ll happy. He recognized Our Lady's presence with us through her apparitions in Medjugorje as part of God's plan, writing to friends in Poland, in his own hand: "I thank Sophia for everything concerning Medjugorje. I too go there every day as a pilgrim in my prayers. I unite in my prayers with all those who pray there or receive a call for prayer from there. Today we have understood this call better. I rejoice that our time is not lacking people of prayer and apostles." He told friends, "Medjugorje is hope for the entire world," and visiting bishops to the Vatican: "Medjugorje is the spiritual center of the world!"

As we enter Holy Week, let us take seriously our Mother's call to pray for the shepherds:

"My children, be my apostles who have not lived in vain. Do not forget that you will come before the Heavenly Father and tell Him about yourself. Be ready! Again I am warning you, pray for those whom my Son called, whose hands He blessed and whom He gave as a gift to you. Pray, pray, pray for your shepherds...

"It is necessary to pray much, to pray and love the Church to which you belong. Now, the Church is suffering and needs apostles who by loving unity, by witnessing and giving, show the ways to God. Thank you."

March 25, 2018 Message from Our Lady, Queen of Peace

(c)Mateo Ivankovic 2018

March 25, 2018
Palm Sunday

Dear Family of Mary,

Here is the March 25, 2018 message from Our Lady:

"Dear children! I am calling you to be with me in prayer in this time of grace when darkness is fighting against the light. Pray, little children, confess and begin a new life in grace. Decide for God and He will lead you towards holiness; and the cross will be a sign of victory and hope for you. Be proud that you are baptized and grateful in your heart that you are a part of God's plan. Thank you for having responded to my call."

Have a prayerful and powerful Holy Week!

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

Mary TV: March 23, 2018 Reflection -Every pain has its end.

(c)Mateo Ivankovic 2018

March 23, 2018|
St. Turibius of Mogrovejo

Dear Family of Mary!
"...My children, pray for the strength of faith, trust in the Heavenly Father, and do not be afraid. Know that not a single creature who belongs to God will be lost but will live forever. Every pain has its end and then life in freedom begins there where all of my children come - where everything is returned...."(March 18, 2018)

Our Lady continues in her March 18 message with a very powerful exhortation. She is lifting our eyes towards heaven and our eternal heritage. She is showing us how to keep heaven in our field of vision through our daily life. In this way we will not lose hope! Here is her program:

1. Pray for the strength of faith...
Faith is a gift from God and He can give it to you if you ask!

2. Trust in the Heavenly Father...
Once you ask for faith, trust that God is listening and will respond!

3. Do not be afraid...
Continue to have faith and trust in God, and He will drive out fear.

4. If you belong to God you will NOT be lost...
Belonging to God is an act of the will, "O Jesus, I surrender myself to you!"

5. If you belong to God you will live forever...
Believe in your future life with God, forever.
"O Jesus I surrender myself to you, take care of everything!"

6. Believe that every pain has its end (pain is finite).
When we suffer it feels like an eternity.
Our Mother gives us hope that it will end.

7. Believe that after pain is vanquished life in freedom begins...
There is a new life awaiting us, free of sin and its consequences.

8. Understand that life in freedom exists in the place where Our Lady's children come...
Our Lady is leading us to that place of freedom from sin and death!!!

9. Understand that everything will be returned in that place where Our Lady's children go...
Nothing is lost. "Not a single creature that belongs to God will be lost
but will live forever!"

This is our future. This is coming for all of us. Our Lady wants us to keep our eyes focused on Heaven, and on God. She knows what she is talking about. She comes from Heaven!

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

Mary TV: March 22, 2018 Reflection -At the desired moment.

(c)Mateo Ivankovic 2018

March 22, 2018
Dear Family of Mary!

"...I loved life - the gift from God - even though pain and sufferings pierced my heart. My children, I had the strength of faith and boundless trust in God's love. All those who have the strength of faith are stronger. Faith makes you live according to what is good and then the light of God's love always comes at the desired moment. That is the strength which sustains in pain and suffering..." (March 18, 2018)

I am so interested when Our Lady speaks from her own memory, her experience of life on earth. She traveled through time just as we do, facing so many different situations. Our Lady faced all of her earthly situations with the same attitude, thanksgiving for her life and for all life, because life is precious, a gift from God. Her love for life made it possible for her to bear the sufferings and pain that came her way. She would never go back on her "yes" to life, no matter what happened, because she knew that God was in her life, that God was not distant or uncaring. God was present and involved.

This heart knowledge was the source of her strength of faith and her boundless trust in God. She knew God. He loved her and was with her through everything, even as her heart was pierced. She trusted Him above all others. And so she was strong.

Our Lady gives us her plan for life: "Faith makes you live according to what is good and then the light of God's love always comes at the desired moment." Our Lady's strong faith in our loving God kept her focused on doing that which God would desire, on love and selflessness. She chose the good always, no matter how hard. When she did that, God would shine the light of His love into her heart and into the situation she was facing, like a light in the darkness. That light would make sense out of everything, and give Mary the strength to continue.

"...the light of God's love always comes at the desired moment." What does she mean? That God reveals His providential care just when it is most necessary. The desired moment is the critical moment, when the need is great. It always comes. But we have to wait and believe until the time is right! Haven't we all experienced this waiting time, when our prayers seem to fall on deaf ears, but then just in the nick of time, everything works for the good!! This is God's timetable.

"...That is the strength which sustains in pain and suffering." The faith which develops in our hearts as we live out our lives in God's presence, observing His gentle and firm hand at work in our daily lives, bringing order and wisdom and peace, that faith makes us strong enough to bear the sufferings that come our way. Our Lady was able to manage the Way of the Cross, in unbelievable pain and suffering, probably because she had lived this program of trust, of choosing the good, of waiting on God to act, her entire life. She had built incredible spiritual muscles over those years! She wants us to start building our spiritual muscles as well.

As we move towards Holy Week, we have an opportunity to meditate on Our Lady's faith. She followed Jesus on His journey to Calvary, not excusing herself from the slightest moment of Jesus' sorrowful Passion. The Father was walking with her that entire way, suffering with her, suffering with Jesus, loving us sinners without limit. Doesn't this give us a reason to stop and ponder? Do we love life? Do we really love life, the gift of God? Are we ready to endure our pain and suffering in faith and out of love? Can we wait for the light to come at the desired moment?

I am sure we are, for we have Our Lady as our example. And she is with us now!

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

Sister Emmanuel's Report from Medjugorje for March 2018

 Medjugorje, March 18, 2018
Month of St. Joseph
Dear Children of Medjugorje, praise be to Jesus and Mary!

1. On March 2, 2018 Mirjana received her monthly apparition in her home, in the presence of a small crowd.  After the apparition, she shared the following message, which Our Lady gives to all of us:

"Dear children, great are the works that the Heavenly Father has done in me, as He does in all those who love Him tenderly and who faithfully and devoutly serve Him. My children, the Heavenly Father loves you, and it is through His love that I am here with you. He is speaking to you. Why do you not desire to see the signs? Everything is easier alongside Him. Also pain lived with Him is easier because faith exists. Faith helps in the pain, and pain without faith leads to despair. Pain lived and offered to God raises up. Did my Son not redeem the world through His painful sacrifice? As His mother I was with Him in the pain and suffering, as I am with all of you. My children, I am with you in life, in suffering, in pain, in joy and in love. Therefore, have hope. It is hope that makes you comprehend that life is there.
My children, I am speaking to you, my voice is speaking to your soul, my heart is speaking to your heart. Oh, apostles of my love, how much my motherly heart love you. How many things I desire to teach you. How my motherly heart desires that you be complete, and you can be complete only when your soul, body and love are united within you. I implore you as my children, pray much for the Church and her servants - your shepherds; that the Church may be such as my Son desires - clear as spring water and full of love. Thank you."

2. St. Joseph in Sicily?

On March 19th, we celebrated the Solemnity of the great St Joseph. Many offered him a Novena or even a Thirty Day Prayer, entrusting him with their most urgent intentions. One of my dear sisters tells this story that illustrates the kindness of this saint, his humor and his effectiveness.

"I was in a house belonging to the community of the Beatitudes, in Pettineo, Sicily. This house was an old Franciscan convent, very cold and very humid. At that time, there were about 30 of us in the House and we lived in great and very severe poverty. There were neither small nor larger sources of income. We often had many guests who came to pray with us and who stayed for a meal.

I remember that one day, we had nothing to eat. Many of us were young and it was not easy for everyone to eat their fill. Our superiors always told us that Saint Joseph is the father of Providence, and they would tell us a lot of stories about people who had received his help. So we, the younger crowd, still full of zeal, said, "Let's make a shopping list with everything we need, and also add some things we'd like to have", and that's what we did. So in that list, there all sorts of things and there was something for everyone... even Nutella and so many other things that were not really useful. Trusting St Joseph blindly, we put that list behind his image, in the prayer corner in the kitchen.

Every day, we prayed to St. Joseph. We were completely taken by surprise when someone suddenly knocked at the door and left lots of bags! We couldn't believe our eyes! We put all the bags on the big kitchen table. We dared not open them... and then someone exclaimed: "Take the shopping list!" It felt like a treasure hunt: one sister read the products on the list and the others looked inside the bags to see if they were in there. We were amazed, it was like a game of tombola! Nothing was missing! Well ... almost nothing!

I remember Piero's face, he just fell silent in sadness when the sister finished reading the list. Only one thing was missing, peppers! "No, that's not possible! Saint Joseph, should have remembered my peppers! No, that isn't fair!" While he expressed his criticism because there were no peppers, suddenly a familiar voice was heard on the stairs: it was Madame Inès, God rest her soul...

Ines was an elderly lady, a widow who lived alone in Pettineo and who often came to see us. Inés raised her voice on the staircase, she was annoyed by something. In the meantime, Piero was grumbling against St. Joseph in the kitchen, while Ines was expressing her irritation.

- 'What's wrong, Ines? Why are you angry?'
- 'Well nothing! I brought you some peppers in oil, and the jar opened in my bag!'

Poor thing! She did not immediately understand why her purse stained with oil turned our home into a party!

No, St. Joseph had forgotten absolutely nothing! He just had his own plan: he wanted someone else to become an instrument of God's Providence, and that was Ines. He wanted us to no longer be doubters, he wanted us to be believers!"

St. Joseph did not have an easy time in his life! The torment of seeing Mary with child, the rejection of the people of Bethlehem, the extreme poverty of the stable where Jesus was born, the flight to Egypt by night and the long stay as a political refugee there, without any regular work nor any income, losing Jesus at the age of 12 with those three days of terrible anguish... In short, this man was weathered by ordeals and humiliations, how could he not understand our troubles of today? As Mary said on March 2nd, "Near Him (Jesus), everything is easier. Suffering next to Him is easier because there is faith. Faith helps when you are in pain, and suffering without faith leads to despair. Suffering that is experienced and offered to God raises us up."

3. Two Cardinals on a mission!

My assistant and I just came back from 4 days in Riga (Latvia), a beautiful mission among very heart-warming people. On our way there, we met Cardinal Schönborn who was on the same flight. He blessed our mission, then said a few words to me about his talk with Pope Francis regarding Medjugorje. Actually, the Pope didn't say anything special. However, the Cardinal's personal opinion is the following: in the absence of an official position from Rome, he thinks that "the results of the Ruini Commission, which were touted by the Pope on May 13th, could be picked up as being the position of the Church." This sounds very positive to me. Still, let us pray more in confidence!
Just before leaving Riga, our small team was received by Cardinal Janis Pujats, retired, who suffered a great deal from the KGB during the Communist persecution, like all his faithful, before the collapse of the Soviet Union. But he managed to stay the course and avoid the labor camps thanks to him listening to the Holy Spirit. He had managed to create a secret printing press and to print thousands of prayer books. He doesn't live like a prince; he lives like a pauper, which moved us a great deal. He has to walk up 3 floors with no elevator to get home, and he walked down those stairs to welcome us. He blessed the fruits of our mission. We felt the hand of God upon us, the blessing of a cardinal before the mission and that of another cardinal at the end!
Thank you, your prayers served us in good stead! Please don't stop praying!

4. "Paul, Apostle of Christ"

The film with Jim Caviezel, "Paul, Apostle of Christ", will be released on 28 March in movie theatres. Jim Caviezel, actor of "The Passion of the Christ", is announcing Mel Gibson's film. His message is quite Medjugorian (from 9.56 to 10.42) with Mary's 5 points. He also talks about Saint Maximilian Kolbe who said "Indifference is the greatest sin of the 21st century." He agrees with this. When the stars of this world become Christian, how powerful is that!

5. Dear Irish people!

Despite the Referendum on May 25th to repeal the 8th amendment, you may like to know that some great acts of prayer are going on around Ireland, so there is still hope!

Chapel at Croagh Patrick
John Finn Photography (c)
Before the vote, there will be 40 days of adoration in the little chapel at the top of the mountain called Croagh Patrick, where St. Patrick spent 40 days in prayer.

Both the clergy and volunteers are getting involved. Many other prayer events have been set up around the country, so the troops are gathering thick and fast. God's will be done! St. Patrick drove the serpents out of Ireland, he should now obtain this grace for us again and send fire down to Ireland! But he needs our prayers and fasting against those poisonous serpents! Please, I beg you, go and vote for Life, your vote will make a difference! Here in Medjugorje, we are with you! Let us all keep the Ireland in our prayers.

6.
The next live broadcast will take place on April 3rd at 9 p.m. (in French).

"Dear Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of Angels and of the Saints, Mediatrix of all graces, we find refuge and protection in your Immaculate Heart, because you are our Mother. Grant us, as you had promised the three shepherds in Fatima, to learn how to offer our life each day for the salvation of sinners. May your maternal love reach out and touch those hearts that have become hardened through sin, so that all men, who have been saved by the blood of your Son on the Cross, may find the path to love, penitence and reconciliation with God and with their brothers. Then will we be able to all sing together in a single heart the triumph of your maternal Mercy. Amen."
Followed by 1 Our Father, 10 Hail Mary's, 1 "Glory Be", and 3 times "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee."

Has your diocese not been consecrated yet? Prepare the way by saying this prayer! Mgr. Cattenoz has invited every parish to be consecrated to Mary's Immaculate Heart.
