New book by Pope Benedict XVI to be published by San Francisco-based Ignatius Press:

“The Holy Father's reflections on the central mysteries of our faith”

SAN FRANCISCO, July 29 /Christian Newswire -- Pope Benedict XVI's second volume ofJesus of Nazareth will be published in English by Ignatius Press, according to an agreement between Ignatius Press and the Vatican's Publishing House, Libreria Editrice Vaticana (LEV).

Slated for release in Spring 2011, the much anticipated second volume of Jesus of Nazarethtakes up where the first volume left off.

"We are eagerly awaiting Volume II because it will contain the Holy Father's reflections on the central mysteries of our faith: the Passion, Death, and Resurrection," says Ignatius Press founder and editor, Jesuit Father Joseph Fessio. Fr. Fessio is a former student of Pope Benedict.

The second volume is expected to address such controversial questions as: who was responsible for Jesus' death? Did Jesus establish the Church to carry on his work? How did he view his suffering and death? How should we? And, most importantly, did Jesus really rise from the dead?

"Jesus remains controversial," notes Ignatius Press president Mark Brumley. "Christians believe he is the Son of God, the founder of the Church, and the Savior of the world. For non-Christians, Jesus is almost anything else -- a myth, a revolutionary, or a prophet whose teaching was misunderstood or distorted by his followers."

Benedict XVI insists Jesus is the Son of God, yet the pope acknowledges that opinion is divided. He brings readers face-to-face with the challenge of Jesus. What to make of a real man who taught and acted in ways tantamount to claims of divine authority? Believers and unbelievers alike must come to their own judgment about Jesus and what he means for them. The second volume of Jesus of Nazareth will help them to do so.

Ignatius Press is the primary English-language publisher of the works of Pope Benedict XVI/Joseph Ratzinger. Benedict XVI was elected pope on April 19, 2005, becoming the 264th successor of Peter as the Vicar of Christ. Born Joseph Ratzinger, he was for over two decades the head of the Vatican's Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith under Pope John Paul II and the president of the Pontifical Biblical Commission. A world-renowned theologian, Ratzinger was a theological expert at the Second Vatican Council, and in the years following the council he was one of its prime interpreters. He is probably the most accomplished theologian to be elected pope in modern times.

The Love of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary: "Love For Mary At First Sight" by Rita Ring

May 1, 1993

Title: Love For Mary At First Sight

R.  My first love of the Center came through the Sorrowful Mother statue. I drove up and wanted to see it through the windows. I felt so close to her, as if the statue was alive. I took pictures of the statue just to have them as I loved it so much.

All through the letters I received about the aching heart, in front of the tabernacle, I experienced somebody else's pain. It was Jesus and Mary's pain! I kept hearing the song, "The Lady is Calling". I heard that song as if on a little tape recorder when I first went to see Fr. Smith. I was awaken in the night and it was playing.

I was sent to Conyers in June and heard the song constantly.

She is calling me to the Center. My experiences are around her statue there.

At Fr. Smith's Mass, in March, I saw the precious blood outside the cup when I received it. It was July 17, 1993, the first day I went to see Fr. Smith.

Mary appeared that day in my dining room at home. It is a pail green room.

Jesus: The very hairs of your head are numbered!

With gratitude from Anne, a lay apostle

July 30, 2010

Dear friends and fellow lay apostles,

I am so grateful to each of you for your prayers and good wishes. I especially thank you for your prayers for my family. Through God’s goodness, I am recovering nicely from an unexpected illness and with rest should be fine.

The work goes on, of course, and we are blessed to have a team in place, all of you, who serve steadily to bring God’s graces to His children.  Together, we are sharing these graces in fifteen languages. Such progress!

In the days to come, you will hear from our Treasurer, Mr. Euse Mita. He leads our team in the effort to spread this rescue mission. He will update the apostolate on current priorities, goals and projects. In the meantime, we send our prayerful support to all lay apostles heading up the many, many local evangelization efforts.

Additionally, there is a Eucharistic Evening on August 28, 2010 in Chicago at St. Daniel the Prophet. This is a direct answer to my prayer. Dear apostles, if you were going to the event that was postponed due to my illness, be sure you attend this evening instead. The talk I was giving was recorded in Los Angeles and that will be played by DVD, so I will be there in that way.  And we all know that lay apostles need Jesus, not Anne. I promise you, dear friends, Jesus will be there and He has promised to send great graces through every one of our Eucharistic events.

During my convalescence, I am quite happily writing about marriage as well as praying for all of you, all of your apostolic endeavors and all of your families. God’s gratitude flows down to each one of us and through each one of us. No sacrifice, no effort on His behalf is wasted, so together, we rejoice in all of the good that comes into the world through our ‘yes’ answers.

With gratitude, confidence and joy in God’s plan for us all,

Anne, a lay apostle

Haiti Update:

Tribulation Times

READ THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: http://www.oneyearbibleonline.com/july.asp?version=63&startmmdd=0101

July 30, 2010

THE TRIB TIMES WILL IN THREE WEEKS, GOD WILLING (James 4:15).

(Luk 6:38) Give: and it shall be given to you: good measure and pressed down and shaken together and running over shall they give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you shall mete withal, it shall be measured to you again.

St. Matthew parishioner Mark Creasser: "The problem with Haiti is once you know, you can't look away. You can't forget about it. It's hard – you can be shaving in the morning and you'll see a flash. Once you know, you know. You can't look away."

HEADLINE:  U.S. Nun Creates Impromptu Oasis To Heal Haitian Bodies And Souls

HELP FOR HAITI: Six months after the earthquake, some Haitians still are clinging to a Band-Aid life. Makeshift dwellings still smother the landscape. There are so many tents in Haiti that in some places entire neighborhoods are fashioned out of blue and white tarpaulins. Some Haitians live inside corrugated metal walls covered by tarps and fastened together with ripped sheets and shredded clothing. Others dwell in massive igloo-style white tents donated by aid organizations. In narrow lines on empty bulldozed lots, those tent neighborhoods look clean and sterile.

Jean Marc Brissau, president of the Rotary Club chapter in Léogâne, said the tents hardly are a quick fix, especially with hurricane season here. "When it's raining, people stay the whole night standing, because water is flowing under their feet and they have nothing to lie on," he said.  Still others eat and live out of their houses but won't sleep inside because they fear another earthquake.

And while many Haitians lost limbs in the earthquake, few amputees are seen in public. Amputees are afraid to leave their homes because of the stigma of their injuries, and many simply have not had follow-up medical care after their surgeries, said Evans Cheridor, a nursing student in Léogâne. Some have not learned how to get around outside their homes, he said.

Dr. Hanks of Advantage Haiti hopes that will change. She believes it is possible to use the earthquake as an "opportunity to change the mindset of Haitian people" toward those with disabilities. "Because at no other point in time would there be so many people who had an acquired disability due to a natural disaster," she said.

In Haiti, there simply is no escaping what happened on Jan. 12.

A Primer on Indulgences

(Joel 2:12-13) Now, therefore, saith the Lord. Be converted to me with all your heart, in fasting, and in weeping, and mourning. And rend your hearts, and not your garments and turn to the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, patient and rich in mercy, and ready to repent of the evil.

Christian Witness List: The Great Pardon: The Portiuncula Indulgence

On a hot July evening in the year 1216 Saint Francis of Assisi at prayer devoured by his love for God and a thirst to save souls was visited upon by Our Blessed Savior and Our Blessed Mother. Our Lord spoke to him "Francis you are very zealous for the good souls. Ask me what you want for their salvation."
Francis answered that he wanted an indulgence to all those who enter this church,(The Portiuncula) who are truly contrite and have confessed their sins.

Our Lord consented to Francis' wish, but only after he received approval from Pope Honorius III. The pope granted this petition, and this indulgence has been extended to all parish churches throughout the world from noon August 1 until midnight on August 2.

The conditions to obtain the Plenary Indulgence of the Forgiveness of Assisi (for oneself or for a departed soul) are as follows:

* Sacramental confession (during eight days before or after the above dates)

* Participation in the Mass and Eucharist.

* Recitation of the Apostles' Creed, Our Father and a prayer for the pope's intention.

The Portiuncula Indulgence is a grace not to be missed, not only for yourself, but for the many souls suffering in purgatory. The dates are from noon on August 1 until midnight on August 2, the feast of Our Lady of the Angels.

[MaryVitamin] St. Martha - July 29

Mary Vitamin for July 29th

Topic: Martha and Mary

Quote:
St.  Francis de Sales
The two women represent our Lady.
Meditation:
Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.
John 11:5

Archbishop Alban Goodier, S.J.:
And the name of Martha comes first. He could not blame her zeal; He could not find fault with her self-sacrificing charity. Nevertheless there was something else which, for the sake of all mankind, He must seize this occasion to defend. To work for Him was good, but to love Him was better; to serve Him was a glory, but to live with Him was a greater glory still. It was noble to be His handmaiden, but to be blessed among women was nobler. To seek the means to please Him was holy, but to seek first the  Kingdom  of  God  and His justice was to secure that all the rest would come. Martha stood for much that was best in the world, but Mary represented something more that transcended all the rest; indeed without it all the rest would be of little worth.

Resolution:
Today I will work on "service with love" in order to imitate the Blessed Virgin Mary. Our Lady was able to live an exemplary life which combined the best aspects of the service of St. Martha and the contemplative prayer of St.  Mary.

Marian Vow:
The members of M.I.M., if they live faithfully their consecration, become, in this way, "little mediators", as St. Maximilian says, at the unconditional service of the universal Mediatrix, ready, as "docile instruments", to work as missionaries and with the missionary spirit in the Church and in the family, in society and in each field of labor; ready also, according to possibilities and obedience, to go themselves even to the missions "Ad gentes" (To the Nations) to save the souls of brothers who are still living "in the shadow of death" (Lk 1, 79).
Marian Seraphic Pathways,  Directory #58

I give this resolution to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Thanks be to God for graces received.

The Love of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary: "After Communion" by Rita Ring

August 29, 1994

After Communion

R.  I cried so hard, realizing how much He loves everyone and they are blind. I love Him so much. I just feel so close to Him. God is truly here and in our midst this very day and everyone runs. He loves us so much!

He told me to read the messages in March and I cried because He loves us so much. I am crying so hard, realizing how He truly loves me and how I have taken His love so lightly. How I have doubted! I cry so hard for this blind world, for He is truly here, I cry for the love He has for them and they do not know!

My insides hurt to experience this feeling, so deep, like when I felt Mary's pain, and suffering, I just experience it until it goes away, it is real intense. To read my letters makes me cry because He loves us so much and everyone is so blind. I cannot express God's love in words, no words are good enough. Jesus wants us to love Him! This is why He is truly present here in the tabernacle. We should realize the great love He has for us. We should realize Mary's presence with us for she is there at every Mass, she is here in the church with Jesus. Mary and Jesus are one, united in Their Hearts.

Strive Always To Serve The Father

Jesus speaks: Keep your hearts pure, My little ones. Never, never do I go from you. I want to constantly live and dwell inside you! You should do as you think the Father wills. Doubt, confusion is from Satan. You should strive always to serve the Father and then your hearts are at peace. I call you to love. Love, My children. Satan is the great deceiver. My ways are peace and joy.

I am the Good Shepherd. I know Mine and they follow Me. I truly love you so very much, My little children.

The blasphemy spread all over the world!

Say the Fatima reparation prayers. CLICK HERE.

Help spread the reparation: Become a Rosary Rally captain.

Dear Friends,

The July Portuguese edition of "Play-boy" features a cover with a terrible blasphemy against the Sacred Person of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

EXTREME CAUTION: this is very disturbing!

On the cover there is a man who looks like Jesus with an immoral woman half
n a k e d in bed. And on the headboard, there's a book called "The Gospel According to Jesus Christ."

The blasphemy spread all over the world!

Photos of the immoral cover have spread worldwide on hundreds of websites in Brazil, Spain, USA and England.

And the blasphemy gets worse … there are more photos inside the magazine that repeat the scene of Jesus with half-n a k e d women, prostitutes and lesbians.

And this happens in the l a n d of Our Lady of Fatima!

"Do not offend Our Lord any longer; He is already very much offended!"

Our Lady of Fatima said these words on May 13, 1917. Today, they are more timely than ever.

In response to this terrible blasphemy, you are invited to:

1- Offer personal reparation

Say the prayers of reparation given by Our Lady to the three Fatima children.

2- Transform reparation into prayerful action

When you become a Rosary rally captain in the 2010 Public Square Rosary Crusade you unleash the amazing spiritual power of the Holy Rosary in your community.

Sins of blasphemy provoke God's w r a t h.  Because of this, we're seeing how God is allowing the world to sink faster and faster into scary moral, financial and spiritual troubles, and …with worse things to come if people don't pray the Rosary and amend their lives.

See, last year, we had 4,337 rosaries in the public square. And this year, our
g o a l is 5,000. Will you be one of these 5,000?

To become a Rosary Rally captain, please CLICK HERE.

Then you'd be one of 5,000 rally captains who will offer Our Lord a public Rosary of reparation on October 16, 2010, the Saturday closest to October 13, the anniversary of the Fatima Miracle of the Sun.

And then, a red rose will be taken to Fatima Portugal in your name, and placed where Our Lady appeared.

Our huge Fatima rose bouquet.

Please know we're committed to give you the best assistance possible for your rally preparations. Our Lady's t e a m will help you each step of the way.

On the Our Father:

Tribulation Times

READ THE BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: http://www.oneyearbibleonline.com/july.asp?version=63&startmmdd=0101

July 27, 2010

(Rom 8:15-16) For you have not received the spirit of bondage again in fear: but you have received the spirit of adoption of sons, whereby we cry: Abba (Father). For the Spirit himself giveth testimony to our spirit that we are the sons of God.

POPE BENEDICT XVI ANGELUS: On the Our Father

VIA MANILLA EXCERPT: Father God by Fr. Jerry Orbos

In today’s Gospel (Lk. 11, 1-13), we go back to the time Jesus taught His disciples the “Our Father.” It has been some 2,000 years since He taught us the beautiful prayer. Have we prayed it enough? Have we learned it well?

There is a God. You and I are not Him. If only we learn this basic lesson in life, we will have more peace in our lives, in our homes, in our country and on this very earth.

God is a Father! He is not just some impersonal, cold, detached supreme being or force of some sort. We can relate with this Father. We can call upon Him. He knows everyone and He sees everything. What a privilege to have a God who is a Father!

God is our Father. He is not exclusive, and neither should we be toward each other. If God is our Father, then, we are brothers and sisters. We are family. We are not enemies. We need to remember the message of the angels on that first Christmas morning: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men of goodwill!” God is a giving Father. He is a God who provides. Jesus teaches us that we can come to Him in our needs. In fact Jesus tells us in today’s Gospel that we should ask Him in prayer whatever we need! We must not hesitate nor doubt the generosity of God. “What Father among you would hand his son a snake when he asks for a fish?”

God is a forgiving Father. The image of a forgiving God is unique to the Christian religion. Many religions speak of an angry God, a punishing God, or a God that needs to be placated and feared. This spirit of forgiveness is, and should also be, the permeating spirit among us, his children.

God is our deliverer and protector. There are so many things beyond our knowledge and control. It is very comforting to know that there is Someone who knows and is in control. Yes, there is Someone bigger than you and I.

May God deliver us from all evil—wars, calamities, disabling illnesses and evil-intentioned people. May God also deliver us from selfishness, especially from selfish pre-occupations and selfish depressions. May God deliver us also from selfish politicians and government officials! Finally, may God deliver us from useless worries, useless heartaches and useless anxieties.

Slow down. Next time you pray the “Our Father,” please pray it slowly and from the heart, not just from the lips. It is a beautiful prayer, and it must be prayed beautifully and meaningfully. What a treasure, this prayer taught by the Lord himself. We must treasure it, believe it and live it.

The Love of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary: "It Doesn't Matter if the World Turns Against Us" by Rita Ring

August 28, 1994

After Communion, 7:40 a.m.

Title:  It Doesn't Matter if the World Turns Against Us

R.  I want to cry to know how this is truly God and people do not know how gifted they are to receive, the one, true God! I am crying for how thankful I am to receive the one, true God. If the whole world turns against me, it doesn't matter. No one can take this union with God away!

To know I really and truly hold God within me is such a gift. Who am I that God comes and dwells in my heart? I am so thankful for Him and His great love. Love is not lip service, love is in my heart. Love is action from the heart. The Holy Spirit imparts to me the fire of His love.

Words are words, the Almighty God puts the fire in these words whereby I experience the love of God. Words are only words without the Spirit moving my heart toward the love of God.

This is what they did to Him. He was abandoned and blasphemed, called all kinds of names, dishonorably treated, condemned to death, scoffed and He remained in total peace.

Jesus:  When they persecute you and holler every slander against you, hold tight to My love. I am forever with you, sustaining you.

R.  He showed us the way. He accepted the most outrageous treatment in perfect peace. When the world turns cold, I look to the Master. Watch them tear His flesh like ruthless men. Watch them spit on Him. Watch them beat Him and what, what did He do? He remained in perfect peace! I do as God prompts me in my heart. I am not perfect. I want to serve Him because I love Him so. It is not what goes into a man that makes him vile, but what comes out of a man.

Jesus:  Keep your hearts pure, My little one. Never, never do I go from you. I want to constantly live and dwell, in you! Do as you think the Father wills. Doubt and confusion are from Satan. You strive always to serve the Father and then your hearts will be at peace. I call you to love, Rita. Love, My child. Satan is the great deceiver. My ways are peace and joy.

I am the Good Shepherd, I know Mine and they follow Me. I truly love you so very much, My little child.

R.  (I smelled incense twice).  I love the person inside. I love a part of you I never see. I love your spirit. This is how I love God. I love God and we do not usually see Him. It is a gift when Jesus appears. It is a gift when Mary appears. The Eucharist is a gift.

The Holy Father's Missionary Prayer Intention for August 2010:

MISSIONARY PRAYER INTENTION
The Holy Father's Missionary Prayer Intention for August 2010: “ That the Church may be a “home” for all people, ready to open its doors to any who are suffering from racial or religious discrimination, hunger, or wars forcing them to emigrate to other countries.”

Vatican City (Agenzia Fides) – One of the most pressing problems for men and women today is a sense of solitude. Among the crowds of our cities, interest for the individual person is often lost. Many, even though surrounded by hundreds of other people, experience solitude and loneliness. Solitude is especially felt by immigrants, people forced to leave their home, their country of origin, because of the brutality of war, discrimination, racism, or the intolerance of a religion imposed against the individual conscience.
Part of belonging to the Church is a sense of the "family of God" , even more, a sense of "home" . "Home" is where we feel loved and valued for what we are. To say "home" means to say, human warmth, experience of maternal love. A mother turns a dwelling into a "home". Like a Holy Mother, the Church must be a 'home' for all her children and especially those most in need. We should hear again and again resounding in our ears the words of the Master "whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me". The reality of immigration creates in the person who faces it extremely difficult conditions of powerlessness, insecurity, basic needs. In addition there are often restrictions due to language barriers or unemployment, etc. The position of powerlessness and necessity, at times desperate, renders immigrants susceptible to manipulation. Many are exploited at work. We must never forget that " The migrant is a human person who possesses fundamental, inalienable rights that must be respected by everyone and in every circumstance" (Benedict XVI, Message for World Day for Refugees and Migrants 2010).
As Christians it is our duty to present a Church which is truly the image of Christ. A maternal image, an expression of the “merciful goodness of our God”. In his Encyclical “Deus caritas est”, the Holy Father, Benedict XVI spoke clearly about the Church's exercise of charity. “ The Church is God's family in the world. In this family no one ought to go without the necessities of life. Yet at the same time caritas- agape extends beyond the frontiers of the Church. The parable of the Good Samaritan remains as a standard which imposes universal love towards the needy whom we encounter “by chance” (cf. Lk 10:31), whoever they may be. Without in any way detracting from this commandment of universal love, the Church also has a specific responsibility: within the ecclesial family no member should suffer through being in need. ”. (DCE, 25b)

With regard to the Church's first seven deacons, the Pope writes “ nor was this group to carry out a purely mechanical work of distribution: they were to be men “full of the Spirit and of wisdom” (cf. Acts 6:1-6). In other words, the social service which they were meant to provide was absolutely concrete, yet at the same time it was also a spiritual service; theirs was a truly spiritual office which carried out an essential responsibility of the Church, namely a well-ordered love of neighbour. ” (DCE, 21). Therefore this is not simply social service, it is an expression of the Church's supernatural charity.

Let us ask Mary, our Mother, to help us show the maternal image of the Church as the expression of God's love for all men and women. The Mother of God was forced to emigrate to Egypt in order to protect the life of Life, she experienced the privations and needs of migrants. To her maternal intercession we entrust all our brothers and sisters forced to leave their homeland, that she may protect them and guide them towards our eternal homeland.

MARVELOUS NEWS Regarding the Writings of Luisa Piccarreta, Servant of God!!!

+
Dear Readers of Letters of Gold!!

Marvelous and Historic News with profound implications for the Glory of God and the future of human history!

Early Friday morning, I received the following news from Association Luisa Piccarreta in Corato:

The second of two theologians assigned by the Vatican to review the Writings of the Servant of God, Luisa Piccarreta, has now completed his duty as censor of those writings.  He also, like the first of the two theologians with this duty, has reached a POSITIVE assessment of her writings!!!!!

This is a profound development of incalculable consequence.  All of Heaven is rejoicing. I will be making more commentary on this EVENT as we have time to digest all this.

I apologize for not sending this sooner, but I was out of town and not able to access my mailing list until now.

Many of you may have already gotten this fabulous news from others including some of our wonderful Priest Apostles of the Kingdom and from Ann Ellison, who also was informed by Corato on Friday, July 23.

I have a suspicion that the news may have come forth from the Vatican on July 22, Feast Day of St. Mary Magdalen, whose name Luisa took as a third order Dominican at age 18.

It is almost mid-night.  Have to send this now.  Give Great Gratitude to God!!!

Jesus Speaks to Priests - I Will Bring Your Gifts to Fruition

Written by Anne a Lay Apostle

The messages from "Anne, a Lay Apostle," from the international spiritual movement"Lay Apostles of Jesus Christ the Returning King" have been released for international distribution with the permission of Bishop Leo O'Reilly of the Diocese of Kilmore, Ireland, the diocese in which Anne and the international headquarters of the Lay apostolate reside. They have also been submitted by Bishop O'Reilly to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in Rome.  The following is the first part of a series from Volume Four - Part Two: Heaven Speaks to Priests. Ed.

Jesus

January 26, 2004
My brothers in the priesthood, I direct these words to you. When I call you My brother, I do so with all love and understanding. A brother is one who has had the same general preparation for life, and as such, views life with similar vision. I am that way to you. I am your brother. You are My brother. You must view your life through eyes that see as your Savior sees. To clarify, view everything through My eyes. I am Jesus Christ. You are My divine servants. You have been given a share of My divinity through your vocation. In this way, it is not you who leads sheep back to the fold, but Me who leads through you. If you are open to Me, if you are accepting My graces, this is working. You see others respond to you and you see others led to holiness and peace. If you are not open to My graces, and My graces are not flowing through you, you see others left  without divine sustenance. You have been chosen. Do not think that you have landed in your priestly vocation through a set of accidental events. This is not the case. It is not you who chose Me, My dearest son, but I who chose you. I chose you because My Father in heaven created you to serve. You have been given gifts that I require for the coming of My Kingdom. I will bring your gifts to fruition. If you do not feel as though your gifts are good enough, or being used to the greatest advantage, it is because you are not allowing Me to infuse them with My divine Spirit.

My dear brother, you must understand that My will for you incorporates all that is necessary for your priesthood to rise to the level that I intend for you. Perhaps you are struggling. Perhaps you do not feel the divine flowing through you. Please, begin anew, to walk your vocation with Me. I intend to renew you. I require your commitment to Me and to the Kingdom.  In order to accomplish what I need to accomplish through you, I need you to become smaller. Ask Me with decision now to accomplish only My will through you by putting aside your own goals. My mother will help you in discerning the heavenly path. It is time to serve only heaven now, My dear brother. I will guide you and direct you in a way that will delight you if you will allow Me. If you do not spend any time considering the wonder of your vocation and the wonder of the divine in your life, it is a good sign that you need renewal. I am here. I will renew you.

Jesus

January 27, 2004
Dear sons of heaven, I call out to you now. My compassionate heart sees all that has transpired in this world and I have willed that the time of suffering and persecution for the sons of heaven is passing. You, dear ones, are the sons of heaven. You have a divine duty to maintain My holy priesthood in this world. I am no longer walking your earth in the physical sense. I do not need to, because I have you to do that for Me. You bring Me to souls, just as if I were physically present, as I was physically present to so many during My lifetime. Imagine, being called upon to be the Savior of humanity. That was My call. What is your call? Your call is to bring the Savior of humanity directly to that humanity every day.

You are called upon to make the sacraments available. Dear sons of the Father, souls must repent and confess their sins. This is as I have willed. To do that, they must have priests available to administer this sacrament. Are you available to do that for God's children? If not, you must consider whether or not I am asking you to do so. The administration of the sacraments is part of your calling. Many of My sons have gone away from this priority in their lives, seeing it more as an annoyance. My sons, it is not just to serve souls that I call upon you to do these things. I also minister to you and deepen your vocation with the richest of graces during your service to souls. It is through your service to souls that you will find your salvation. Do not treat this area of your priesthood as superfluous. You must study Me and the methods I used when I walked your paths of ministry. I was always kind. I was patient. I was humble. Remember and recall that I am God. Still, I did not wield My authority as a weapon to control others. I administered My authority to others in telling the truth. I had courage, My sons. Remember and recall also that I was to be put to death for speaking the truth. Did this threat seal My lips? You know that it did not. I spoke the truth always. I feared neither the wrath of mankind nor the wrath of the enemy. Man cannot touch your soul without your permission. You would do well to remind yourself of this when you are called upon to speak a truth that will alienate others.

You walk the earth during a time of challenges. Thank God for this. I intend to assist you now in every way that you can imagine. You are not alone. I walk with you and wish to live your vocation. I can only do so with your permission and cooperation. Come back to My Sacred Heart, My dear chosen son. I have extraordinary consolations waiting for you. I want you to serve with joy and joy is possible for you in every area of your service to heaven. But you must be united to Me in order for Me to transmit this joy. I intend to infuse your soul with all wisdom and love. I wish to illuminate the truth for you so that you feel no doubt or confusion. Come to Me. Be with Me. Let Me serve you so that you may serve others.

My brothers in service to the Father, I have such compassion for you that it swells My heart. How I understand your discouragements and fears. You toil often without the benefit of seeing the fruit of your labor. This can be difficult, but I use this absence of immediate satisfaction to increase your trust and to strengthen your faith. If you are viewing your priesthood from My eyes, you will become accustomed to seeing the vast view. Your every priestly act impacts eternity because your every priestly act impacts souls in one way or another. Do you scoff at the importance of each act? Perhaps your humility recoils at such a thought. It is not to make you self important that I tell you this. I tell you this, My brother, to make you aware of how crucial is your service to the coming of the Kingdom. You speak with My authority. Please be aware of this. One of the difficulties of this time for you, the sons of heaven, is that many of you have inadvertently absorbed the worldly view that you have little impact on world events and souls. This is an error. This is false. This is worldly thinking and not heavenly thinking.

Think like Me, dear sons, and understand that if God is working through you, you have tremendous impact on the outcome of each life that comes in contact with your vocation. I do not want you to feel an overwhelming responsibility, but I want you to feel a responsibility. You know that I am truth. I speak only what is so and never speak falsely or with the intention of manipulation. I speak to you these truths so that you can view your vocation with the appropriate solemnity. My sons, you are heaven's treasures. I am consoled by you more than your humanity can imagine. If you understood how much consolation I took from your vocation, you might indeed feel overwhelmed with responsibility so I shield you from such a burden. I do not, however, shield you from the reality of your role in the coming of My Kingdom. Be alert during this time as I am returning. I will be working decisively through you if you allow Me. I require your cooperation for God's glory. Spend time in silence with Me, the Divine Priest.
