Whoever remains in love remains in God! January 7, 2026 St. Raymond of Penyafort Dear Family of Mary! We have been reading from the 1st Letter of John at Holy Mass with week. Here is part of the reading for today: 1John 4:16b-19 We have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us. God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him. In this is love brought to perfection among us, that we have confidence on the day of judgment because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment, and so one who fears is not yet perfect in love. We love, because he first loved us. This famous passage from St. John is an inexhaustible source of light and truth. It is so important, so powerful that we could pray with it every day! Our Lady often speaks about love in similar ways. Here is one such message: June 25, 1988  "Dear children! I am calling you to that love which is loyal and pleasing to God. Little children, love bears everything bitter and difficult for the sake of Jesus who is love. Therefore, dear children, pray that God come to your aid, not however according to your desire, but according to His love. Surrender yourself to God so that He may hear you, console you and forgive everything inside you which is a hindrance on the way of love. In this way God can move your life, and you will grow in love. Dear children, glorify God with a hymn of love so that God's love may be able to grow in you day by day to its fullness. Thank you for having responded to my call." Our Lady calls us to let God's love work through us! God's love is powerful. It can move mountains! We have only to surrender to Him, and receive His love in such a way that we will be able to love others with His love. His love will change the world!! In Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Love and don't be afraid, my children, because there is no fear in love. January 6, 2026 Dear Family of Mary! Jesus came to give us His love. St. John tells us so! 1John 4:7-10 Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God. Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love. In this way the love of God was revealed to us: God sent his only-begotten Son into the world so that we might have life through him. In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as expiation for our sins. The word of the Lord. Mother Mary has also been sent to us to love us and open our hearts to the love of Jesus. She has told us: April 25, 1997 "Dear children! Today I call you to have your life be connected with God the Creator, because only in this way will your life have meaning and you will comprehend that God is love. God sends me to you out of love, that I may help you to comprehend that without Him there is no future or joy and, above all, there is no eternal salvation. Little children, I call you to leave sin and to accept prayer at all times, that you may in prayer come to know the meaning of your life. God gives Himself to him who seeks Him. Thank you for having responded to my call." And again she told us: March 18, 1995 Mirjana said to us: Our Lady spoke about the love that we need. Her wish is that people love one another because God is love, and if we love God, we will love one another. I understand this message as one of consolation, and that we don't have to fear anything if we have love. And this was Our Lady's message: "Dear children! Already for many years as a Mother, I have been teaching you faith and God's love. You have not shown gratitude to the dear Father nor have you given Him glory. You have become empty and your heart has become hard and without love toward your neighbors' sufferings. I am teaching you love and showing you that the dear Father loved you but you have not loved Him. He sacrificed His Son for your salvation, my children. As long as you do not love, you will not know your Father's love. You won't get to know Him because God is love. Love and don't be afraid, my children, because there is no fear in love. If your hearts are open to the Father and if they are full of love toward Him, then why any fear of what is to come? Those who are afraid are the ones who do not love because they are waiting for punishments and because they know how empty and hard they are. Children, I am leading you to love, to the dear Father. I am leading you to eternal life. Eternal life is my Son. Receive Him and you have received love." May we listen to Jesus' call and Our Lady's motherly encouragement to love. Love is of God! Again I call you to prayer with the heart. January 5, 2026 Dear Family of Mary! As we move into the New Year with Our Lady, it is time to make some New Year's resolutions. We need to organize our inner life with God. We need to get our priorities in order!! What must we do to draw closer to God this year?? Here are 5 messages in which Our Lady shares with us one of her top priorities for us. She wants us to "pray with the heart!" Let's prayerfully meditate on these 5 messages from Our Lady during our rosaries today and listen to the Holy Spirit. The Spirit will enlighten our minds to help us to see what needs to change so that we pray more with our hearts, day by day!  Let us Pray: January 23, 1986 "Dear children! Again I call you to prayer with the heart. If you pray with the heart, dear children, the ice of your brothers will melt and every barrier shall disappear. Conversion will be easy for all who desire to accept it. That is the gift which by prayer you must obtain for your neighbor. Thank you for having responded to my call."  October 25, 1989 "Dear children! Today also I am inviting you to prayer. I am always inviting you, but you are still far away. Therefore, from today, decide seriously to dedicate time to God. I am with you and I wish to teach you to pray with the heart. In prayer with the heart you shall encounter God. Therefore, little children, pray, pray, pray! Thank you for having responded to my call."  September 25, 1990 "Dear children! I invite you to pray with the heart in order that your prayer may be a conversation with God. I desire each one of you to dedicate more time to God. Satan is strong and wants to destroy and deceive you in many ways. Therefore, dear children, pray every day that your life will be good for yourselves and for all those you meet. I am with you and I am protecting you even though satan wishes to destroy my plans and to hinder the desires which the Heavenly Father wants to realize here. Thank you for having responded to my call."  March 25, 2003 "Dear children! Also today I call you to pray for peace. Pray with the heart, little children, and do not lose hope because God loves His creatures. He desires to save you, one by one, through my coming here. I call you to the way of holiness. Pray, and in prayer you are open to God's will; in this way, in everything you do, you realize God's plan in you and through you. Thank you for having responded to my call."  May 25, 2003 "Dear children! Also today I call you to prayer. Renew your personal prayer, and in a special way pray to the Holy Spirit to help you pray with the heart. I intercede for all of you, little children, and call all of you to conversion. If you convert, all those around you will also be renewed and prayer will be a joy for them. Thank you for having responded to my call." Mother Mary, please teach us how to pray with the heart! Show us the way to open our hearts more and more to Jesus in prayer. I was taken by her contentment and wondered if listening to her mother’s heartbeat, in some way, was a comforting reminder of her time in the womb where she heard that heartbeat throughout her preborn life.   Jesus was such a child who listened to the heartbeat of Mary. And this time of the year we rightly see most frequently the Madonna and Child—for He was “born of a woman.” He did not pass through Mary as through a channel or a mere conduit. No! He was born OF her. He took His humanity FROM her. The blood in His veins came FROM her. Indeed, He must have resembled her. Here are today's Mass readings: Reading 1 Responsorial Psalm Reading II Gospel Numbers 6:22-27 67:2-3, 5, 6, 8 Galatians 4:4-7 Luke 2:16-21 WATCH FR. JOSEPH'S VIDEO The Child Jesus cherished Mary more than any child ever cherished their mother. As a Child, His Heart was always close to hers both physically and mystically. The Gospel relates that “Mary kept all these things reflecting on them in her heart.” Her heart was always reflecting on Him. How mistaken it is to diminish her unique privileges and profound dignity. She is the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God!   Child Jesus, help us to cherish Mary, Your Mother, the Mother of You who are God, as we contemplate Your Childhood and Your closeness to her heart and hers to Yours.   In the Child Jesus,   Fr.
