Mary Vitamin for January 14th Topic: Our Lady of Banneux Feast January 15 Quote: Our Lady of Banneux, 1933 "I have come to relieve suffering." "Pray much." Meditation:
Our Lady used a rosary to prepare 11 year old Mariette Beco for the grace of conversion. Mariette was basically an unchurched cradle Catholic who stumbled upon a Rosary one day. She was attracted to it and kept it on her person. Our Lady used this sacramental** to prepare Mariette's heart so the she would be the instrument in Our Lady's hand. In 1933 Our Lady visited Mariette eight times in Banneux , Belgium . The words from the local priest concerning Mariette: "How this youngster has changed since January 15! Now she was at Mass and catechism every morning. Her schoolwork was beyond reproach, and she bore the taunts of certain unbelievers in the village without the slightest complaint." Mary Fabyan Windeatt, Our Lady of Banneux, (Tan Publishers), 26. Resolution: Today, I will meditate on the apparition of Our Lady of Banneux and have great hope in Our Lady's intercession. Our Lady said, "She has come to relieve suffering." I will also look for ways to give out rosary beads. I will begin with my own children. I will put an extra rosary in my purse in case I have the chance to give it out. Marian Vow: From the Marian Seraphic Pathways: "Among the means of the apostolate simplest and most efficacious particular importance should be given to the Miraculous Medal and the Holy Rosary." #58 Constitutions I give this resolution to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Thanks be to God for graces received. From this source all sacraments and sacramentals draw their power. There is scarcely any proper use of material things which cannot be thus directed toward the sanctification of men and the praise of God." #1670

Mother Mary said at Fatima: "My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the sure way which will lead you to God." St. Thomas Aquinas said: "The things we love tell us who we are!" With that in mind, I will try to post each day something about Our Blessed Lady, items about the Holy Roman Catholic Church, and public domain Catholic books too! I pray you enjoy my ministry! Below are two albums of pictures that I created: 1. Our grand daughter Adrianna. 2. Tears of Mary!
