In
Natividade, Brazil, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Dr. Sebastien
Fausto de Faria, an agnostic, testified to having been visited by the
Virgin Mary several times over the period of the years 1967-1968. He
also claimed that he received three messages for the world from Our
Lady. Here is an excerpt of the second message, from July 12, 1968,
concerning the Church:
"I am
the messenger of love and faith for Christians traumatized by discord
and threatened in their spirituality. I am also the Mother of the Church
of my Son—the guardian and first interpreter of his doctrine—and to
whom I address the following exhortation: ‘...Let the primacy of worship
of God and my Son be restored, and let the faithful invoke my Son whose
holy life is a permanent source of virtues... Let everyone respect the
Church and its hierarchy, let them accept the authority of Episcopal
decisions, especially those of the highest bishop, Peter. Let them be
wary of the arsonists of discipline and faith within the Church!"
The local bishop granted the imprimatur to these messages and authorized the construction of a shrine.

Please no anonymous comments. I require at least some way for people to address each other personally and courteously. Having some name or handle helps.
