Pray and seek the intercession of all the Saints
October 31, 2023
Dear Family of Mary!
Today we prepare for the Solemnity of
All Saints! This great feast sets before us our destiny! We pray that
we may join the saints in Heaven for all eternity, praising God and
living in His Perfect Presence! The Saints are lights for us on the
road to that eternal destiny! They show us the way through their lives.
Our Lady told us:
October
25, 2010 "Dear children! May this time be a time of prayer for you. My
call, little children, desires to be for you a call to decide to follow
the way of conversion; therefore, pray and seek the intercession of all
the saints. May they be for you an example, an incentive and a joy
towards eternal life. Thank you for having responded to my call."
The Saints found their way into
holiness through their struggles, sufferings and joys of life with God.
We can learn from them. And tomorrow we will celebrate them with a
special holy day!
Let's prepare for this great feast by
reading Matthew 5:3-12. In this Gospel, Jesus shows us exactly how the
saints must live in order to arrive in Heaven. It is a road map for
all of us, as we set our hearts on eternal life with our God and all His
Saints!
Canticle of the Beatitudes
(Matthew 5:3-12)
Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the land.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst
for righteousness,
for they will be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
Blessed are the clean of heart,
for they will see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called children of God.
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake
of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when they insult you and persecute you
and utter every kind of evil against you falsely because of me.
Rejoice and be glad,
for your reward will be great in heaven.
Thanks be to God for our wonderful future, shown to us by the Saints!
In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
