Mary TV: December 24, 2024 Reflection - Pray... and open your hearts!

Pray...and open your hearts!

Christmas Eve

Dear Family of Mary!

Today is Christmas Eve!

Tonight we will celebrate the birth of our Savior! As Zechariah declared under the influence of the Holy Spirit, "In the tender compassion of our God the dawn from on high shall break upon us, to shine on those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death, and to guide our feet into the way of peace." (Luke 1:78-79)

Jesus, the is that dawn, that perfect day, that will shine upon us and guide our feet into the way of peace! Each year we await Him anew, needing to revisit the dawn from on high!!

Our Lady gave us a message through Ivan last Saturday, which I believe will help us to enter this mystery of Christ's birth with open hearts. Our Lady addressed all of us with these words:

“Dear children,

Surrender yourselves to me

so that each one of your hearts and your lives

can be prepared to accept the little Jesus.

I wish that through these days of grace,

each one of your hearts can become

like the stable in Bethlehem

in which the Savior of the world is born.

Therefore, pray throughout these days

and open your hearts.

Thank you, dear children,

for having responded, again today, to my call.”

(12/21/24 message through Ivan)

As we enter the Christmas miracle, may our hearts become like the stable in Bethlehem, humble and lowly, simple and down to earth, open and available, so that the Savior of the world may be born in us. Come Lord Jesus!

God bless you,

Cathy Nolan
