Mary TV: November 30, 2017 Reflection -He, my Son, your Brother, is calling you...

(c)Mateo Ivankovic 2017

November 30, 2017
St. Andrew, Apostle

Dear Family of Mary!

"Dear children! In this time of grace, I call you to prayer. Pray and seek peace, little children. He who came here on earth to give you His peace, regardless of who you are and what you are - He, my Son, your Brother - through me is calling you to conversion, because without God you do not have a future or eternal life. Therefore, believe and pray and live in grace and the expectation of your personal meeting with Him. Thank you for having responded to my call." (November 25, 2017)

This is the feast of St. Andrew, Apostle! St. Andrew heard Jesus' call, along with his brother Simon, at the very beginnings of Jesus' public ministry. St. Andrew answered that call with his whole life, with total abandon. He also brought many others to Jesus, so that they could hear Jesus' call in their life.

Jesus is calling us through Our Lady, calling us to conversion, calling us to pray, calling us to know that without Him we have no future or eternal life. Jesus is calling us just as He called Andrew. This should make us very joyful. Jesus is calling us, now, in this day. It is not a story, an idea, a hopeful thought. No, it is the real Jesus who is calling us through His real Mother!

I want to quote something that St. Faustina wrote about Jesus and His real presence and call in her day, His saving activity in her time. She seemed to understand this same reality, that it is the real Jesus who is calling her and working for her salvation and the salvation of the whole world.

O inconceivable goodness of God, which shields us at every step, may Your mercy be praised without cease. That You became a brother to humans, not to angels, is a miracle of the unfathomable mystery of Your mercy. All our trust is in You, our first-born Brother, Jesus Christ, true God and true Man. My heart flutters with joy to see how good God is to us wretched and ungrateful people. And as a proof of His love, He gives us the incomprehensible gift of Himself in the person of His Son. Throughout all eternity we shall never exhaust that mystery of love. O mankind, why do you think so little about God being truly among us? O Lamb of God, I do not know what to admire in You first: Your gentleness, Your hidden life, the emptying of Yourself for the sake of man, or the constant miracle of Your mercy, which transforms souls and raises them up to eternal life. Although You are hidden in this way, Your omnipotence is more manifest here than in the creation of man. Though the omnipotence of Your mercy is at work in the justification of the sinner, yet Your action is gentle and hidden. (Diary, 1584)

"All of our trust is in You, our first born Brother, Jesus Christ, true God and true Man!!"

"O mankind, why do you think so little about God being truly among us?"

"O Lamb of God, I do not know what to admire in You first: Your gentleness, Your hidden life, the emptying of Yourself for the sake of man, or the constant miracle of Your mercy, which transforms souls and raises them up to eternal life."

St. Faustina lived in the reality of Jesus' presence and His call. We do too, even if we don't perceive it all the time. But through prayer, we can!

November 29, 2017 Reflection -Therefore, believe and pray and live in grace and the expectation of your personal meeting with Him.

"And so, from the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to lead a life worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

"He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation; for in him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or authorities -- all things were created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the first-born from the dead, that in everything he might be pre-eminent. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross.

"And you, who once were estranged and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and irreproachable before him, provided that you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which has been preached to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a minister." Mary Tv: November 28, 2017 Reflection -Total abandonment to Jesus

(c)Mateo Ivankovic 2017

November 28, 2017

Dear Family of Mary!

December 25, 1998 (Jakov)
"Dear children! Today, on the birthday of my Son, my heart is filled with immeasurable joy, love and peace. As your mother, I desire for each of you to feel that same joy, peace and love in the heart. That is why do not be afraid to open your heart and to completely surrender yourself to Jesus, because only in this way can He enter into your heart and fill it with love, peace and joy. I bless you with my motherly blessing."

As we approach the new Liturgical Year, we may be experiencing some inner battles. The readings at Holy Mass are all about judgement time and things that have to do with the end of our own lives and the end of our world. It can make us uneasy, and open us up for temptations to fear, anxiety, and gloominess. But Our Lady gives us the way out of these temptations. She urges us to "not be afraid to open your heart and to completely surrender yourself to Jesus." This is the antidote to all temptations!!

I read this excerpt from the writings of Lucie Christine, a French Mystic. The excerpt can be found in the USA Edition of "Magnificat" on pages 386-7.

In darkness and anguish of heart. A tempest of troubles, sadness, vague uneasiness. It seems as if a storm of wicked elements were let loose on my soul. I feel myself burning with impatience, without any motive, against people whom I love the most. I want to break something. I feel displeasure, involuntary, but full of bitterness, against others, against myself, and against everything; I am even tempted against God, although this is but a passing feeling.

I go on praying as usual, and I think grace prevents anyone from noticing my interior state. Even at night, I have gone through these struggles. I could not write all I have prayed and suffered interiorly during one day and night. The soul is led, as it were, to the edge of an abyss, to the gates of an intimate death, where it seems to her that her faculties will suffer shipwreck. The she offers simply to God the total abandonment of herself, renouncing everything of which he wishes her to make the sacrifice. And this abandonment establishes the soul in a peace which renders her capable of facing all her troubles.

My soul made frequent acts of abandonment during these storms and ended them, this time, by the desire and resolution to do something more for God. What? She does not know; It is not in these states of mind that one can judge and decide what one will do. Even in general, when my poor soul wishes to make a plan to advance in sanctity she soon sees that she knows nothing about it. Lucie Christine

"[My soul] offers simply to God the total abandonment of herself...and this abandonment establishes the soul in a peace which renders her capable of facing all her trouble." Lucie Christine

"That is why do not be afraid to open your heart and to completely surrender yourself to Jesus, because only in this way can He enter into your heart and fill it with love, peace and joy." Our Lady!

The antidote to all the ills of our day, to all the temptations we endure, to all the sorrows we face, is to totally abandon our entire selves to Jesus, over and over again. He will not abandon us. He will come to our aid and quiet the most terrible storms. And He will show us the way to become the antidote to the ills of the world, through our surrender to Him.

Mary TV: November 27, 2017 Reflection -My Son, your Brother!

(c)Mateo Ivankovic 2017
November 27, 2017

Dear Family of Mary!
"Dear children! In this time of grace, I call you to prayer. Pray and seek peace, little children. He who came here on earth to give you His peace, regardless of who you are and what you are - He, my Son, your Brother - through me is calling you to conversion, because without God you do not have a future or eternal life. Therefore, believe and pray and live in grace and the expectation of your personal meeting with Him. Thank you for having responded to my call." (November 25, 2017)

Jesus spoke to St. Faustina many times about His desire to give us peace, to share His divine life with us. Here is one instance:
Today, in the course of a long conversation, the Lord said to me, How very much I desire the salvation of souls! My dearest secretary, write that I want to pour out My divine life into human souls and sanctify them, if only they were willing to accept My grace. The greatest sinners would achieve great sanctity, if only they would trust in My mercy. The very inner depths of My being are filled to overflowing with mercy, and it is being poured out upon all I have created. My delight is to act in a human soul and to fill it with My mercy and to justify it. My kingdom on earth is My life in the human soul. Write, My secretary, that I Myself am the spiritual guide of souls and I guide them indirectly through the priest, and lead each one to sanctity by a road known to Me alone. (St. Faustina's Diary 1784)
Jesus' kingdom on earth is His life in the human soul. Jesus longs to be accepted in our souls, to make His home with us, to pour out His mercy in us, so that we can convert and prepare for eternal life with Him. He will do it all, if we just let Him act in us.

Jesus, give us Your peace, help us convert, and show us our future in You and through You, eternal life in Your Kingdom.

Mary TV: November 16, 2017 Reflection - The Gift of Wisdom

(c)Mateo Ivankovic 2017

November 16, 2017
St. Margaret of Scotland
St. Gertrude

Dear Family of Mary!
May 25, 2001 "Dear children! At this time of grace, I call you to prayer. Little children, you work much but without God's blessing. Bless and seek the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to lead you at this time so that you may comprehend and live in the grace of this time. Convert, little children, and kneel in the silence of your hearts. Put God in the center of your being so that, in that way, you can witness in joy the beauty that God continually gives in your life. Thank you for having responded to my call."

In this beautiful message Our Lady asks us to "seek the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to lead you..." Wisdom is one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Wisdom is given to us through the Holy Spirit as a sort of infused knowledge, the ability to understand the Christian life with a deeper heavenly light. As Our Lady continues to say, "seek the wisdom of the Holy Spirit to lead you at this time so that you may comprehend and live in the grace of this time." Wisdom helps us understand what God is doing, and shows us how to follow His grace, to live in the grace of this time.

The first reading for Mass today is one of my favorite Scriptures, Wisdom 7:22b-8:1. It is a long list of words and phrases that describe Wisdom, and each one is sublime!! I think if we really took in these descriptions of Wisdom, we would have much better discernment about our life, and what God is doing. We would be able to pick up the clues in our situations and find the way in which Wisdom leads us.

For in Wisdom there is a spirit that is intelligent, holy, unique, manifold, subtle, mobile, clear, unpolluted, distinct, invulnerable, loving the good, keen, irresistible, beneficent, humane, steadfast, sure, free from anxiety, all-powerful, overseeing all, and penetrating through all spirits that are intelligent and pure and most subtle. For wisdom is more mobile than any motion; because of her pureness she pervades and penetrates all things. For she is a breath of the power of God, and a pure emanation of the glory of the Almighty; therefore, nothing defiled gains entrance into her. For she is a reflection of eternal light, a spotless mirror of the working of God, and an image of his goodness. Though she is but one, she can do all things, and while remaining in herself, she renews all things; in every generation she passes into holy souls and makes them friends of God, and prophets; for God loves nothing so much as the man who lives with wisdom. For she is more beautiful than the sun, and excels every constellation of the stars. Compared with the light she is found to be superior for it is succeeded by the night, but against wisdom evil does not prevail.
She reaches mightily from one end of the earth to the other, and she orders all things well. (Wisdom 7:22 - 8:1)

I was wondering why the author uses the feminine for Wisdom, since the Holy Spirit is masculine. And it occurred to me that this description of Wisdom looks a lot like Our Lady. Why? Because she is the Spouse of the Holy Spirit, and all His gifts are given to her in abundance. She demonstrates Wisdom at its highest. And so we see Wisdom very clearly in Mary. Isn't she "intelligent, holy, unique, unpolluted, distinct, invulnerable, loving the good, keen, irresistible, beneficent, humane, steadfast, sure, free from anxiety...a reflection of eternal light, a spotless mirror of the working of God, and an image of his goodness?"  Our Lady wants us to be like her, a pure child of God. And so we will be more and more filled with the gift of Wisdom if we live her messages and follow her Son.

"She renews all things; in every generation she passes into holy souls and makes them friends of God, and prophets; for God loves nothing so much as the man who lives with wisdom." Doesn't Our Lady do exactly this, she passes into holy souls, and teaches them how to be friends of God. St. Louis de Montfort taught us this. Mary teaches us how to be friends of God. She leads us to her Son, and unites us to Him.

Mary is "more beautiful than the sun, and excels every constellation of the stars, and in our day she reaches mightily from one end of the earth to the other, and she orders all things well." Thank you, O Blessed Trinity, for giving us such a Mother who is clothed with the sun and has a crown of twelve stars to help us live in this time of grace!

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

Mary TV: November 14, 2017 Reflection - Pray for the Cure!

(c)Mateo Ivankovic 2017

November 14, 2017
Dear Family of Mary!

Thursday, November 26, 1981
This evening, the Blessed Virgin was smiling. We prayed and sang with her. We asked her questions about the sick.
"Have a strong faith, pray and fast and they will be cured. Be confident and rest in joy. Go in the peace of God. Be patient and pray for the cure. Goodbye, my dear angels."

I love this message from Our Lady, with her advice on how to help the sick. She was speaking to the very young visionaries in 1981. And we know that many people were coming to them to ask for help and healing, because they were encountering Our Lady. But Our Lady's response implies that the job of procuring healing is really in our hands. She merely gave the children the tools needed to pray for healing:

Strong Faith

Prayer

Fasting

Confidence

Resting in joy!

The Peace of God

Patience

Don't you just want to smile at this list!! It is full of trust in God, and in selfless love. This is how we can help those who are sick.

With that in mind, tomorrow a very special young woman, Mary Freeby, will undergo a bone marrow transplant in Cincinnati. She has a rare immune disease. She has been to Medjugorje and is entrusting herself to Our Lady, but we can help with our faith, prayer, fasting, confidence, joy, patience and peace. Let's pray for her as Our Lady teaches us!

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

November 14, 2017 - Update from Denis - Yes, Marija did say that!

Marija speaks in St. Stephen's Cathedral on October 24, 2017

Dear Mary TV Family!

Mary Kemper recently sent me this email:

"Hi! Not to get too excited about this, but I had time to listen to Marija's testimony from Oct. 24th and at the 1:27 (one hour and 27 minute marker) the translator said something to the effect that Marija said that she believed this year the triumph of the Immaculate Heart will happen.  I probably didn't hear that correctly, but I am wondering what you think?  I have followed along with these apparitions from at least 1988 to some extent and am about the same age as the visionaries.  Wow after all this time and when it seems like endless gloom then to think that the triumph will happen this year....................................................  Please listen and tell me what you think.   No doubt that I am probably reading way more into the remark than what was intended.  But shouldn't that remark be highlighted or commented on or should we let it pass so as not to give people false hope.   I would love to hear what your remarks are about that.   Thank you so much for your vital broadcasts.
thanks, Mary Kemper"

Thank you, Mary, for raising this question.  Marija actually did say that!
You can hear her comment at the 1:27 in this video:  (Evening of Prayer 2017)

Our English translator's words were confirmed by friends fluent in Italian, English and Croatian sitting close to Marija in St. Stephens Cathedral on October 24th.
I don't think you can get too excited about it.

More than a quarter of a century ago Our Lady told us through her message to Marija: "My plan has begun to be realized!" She concluded that August 25, 1991 message (referred to by Marija in her talk in Vienna) "Let us pray that everything I have begun be fully realized!"*

No wonder four years earlier Satan had offered to give back to God the rest of the world in exchange for Medjugorje!!!

He's terrified.

Twenty years ago Our Lady told us: "THIS TIME IS MY TIME!"

You better believe I think Marija meant to tell us exactly that, though she didn't say that Our Lady told her that, and I don't think she necessarily meant by December 31, 2017

With heaven fighting for us how can it not happen?

"Dear children! With great joy, today I am carrying my Son Jesus to you, for Him to give you His peace. Open your hearts, little children, and be joyful that you can receive it. Heaven is with you and is fighting for peace in your hearts, in the families and in the world; and you, little children, help with your prayers for it to be so. I bless you with my Son Jesus and call you not to lose hope; and for your gaze and heart to always be directed towards Heaven and eternity. In this way, you will be open to God and to His plans. Thank you for having responded to my call." (December 25, 2016 message)

Mary TV - by keeping our families and homes connected to Medjugorje - is helping us keep our gaze and heart directed towards heaven and eternity. I want to thank Rob, Colleen, Nancy, Bill, Pat and all of you who are helping Mary TV by your prayers and donations to make it possible for Mary TV to continue.... especially now that Our Lady tells us: "Be ready! This is a turning point!"

God bless you!
Denis Nolan

"Dear Children! Today also I invite you to prayer, now as never before when my plan has begun to be realized. Satan is strong and wants to sweep away my plans of peace and joy and make you think that my Son is not strong in His decisions. Therefore, I call all of you, dear children, to pray and fast still more firmly. I invite you to self-renunciation for nine days so that, with your help, everything that I desire to realize through the secrets I began in Fatima, may be fulfilled. I call you, dear children, to now grasp the importance of my coming and the seriousness of the situation. I want to save all souls and present them to God. Therefore, let us pray that everything I have begun be fully realized. Thank you for having responded to my call." (August 25, 1991 message referenced by Marija in her talk on October 24, 2017 in S. Stephens Cathedral in Vienna).
