Mary TV: April 30, 2021 Reflection - I am placing all of you in my Immaculate Heart!

I am placing all of you in my Immaculate Heart

April 30, 2021
St. Pius V

Dear Family of Mary!

Again, the April 25, 2021 message:

“Dear children! Today I am calling you to witness your faith in the colors of spring. May this be a faith of hope and courage. May your faith, little children, not waver in any situation, not even in this time of trial. Go courageously with the risen Christ towards Heaven, which is your goal. I am accompanying you on this way of holiness and am placing all of you in my Immaculate Heart. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (April 25, 2021)

I am accompanying you on this way of holiness and am placing all of you in my Immaculate Heart.

Our Mother is extremely good at accompanying. She accompanied Jesus throughout His infancy and childhood. Her prayerful and loving attention to Jesus' every need must have been such a comfort and security to Jesus as He grew up.

She accompanied Jesus during His entire public ministry, quietly attending to His needs and the needs of His followers. She was so in tune with the Father's will, that she could anticipate Jesus' needs and always be a help to Him as the way became more and more contentious.

But it was at the Passion of Our Lord that Mary's accompaniment was most perfect, most powerful and most needed. For only she understood what was really happening during those terrible hours of suffering. Only she could help Jesus with her prayers of assent to the Father's will. Only she could deny her own desires and choose what God desired at that moment, the complete offering of Jesus' life for the sake of the world.

And now she is accompanying us in our lives, with that same perfection of love. She is praying for us that we will accept and live the Father's will for our lives. She is uniting her prayers to ours, so that we can choose and travel the road to Holiness.

And most importantly, she is placing each one of us in her Immaculate Heart!! It is in that Motherly Heart that we will be healed of all our wounds and scars from life, and made able to do God's will. Thanks be to God, we have such a Mother!!

Here is another Litany by St. John Henry Newman! A Litany to the Immaculate Heart of Mary! Let's pray to Our Mother, rejoicing that she is placing each one of us in her most wonderful and Immaculate Heart!!

Let Us Pray:
O most merciful God, Who, for the salvation of sinners and the refuge of the miserable, wast pleased that the Most Pure Heart of Mary should be most like in charity and pity to the Divine Heart of Thy Son, Jesus Christ, grant that we, who commemorate this sweet and loving Heart, by the merits and intercession of the same Blessed Virgin, may merit to be found like unto the Heart of Jesus, through the same Christ Our Lord.
R. Amen.

Mary TV: April 29, 2021 Reflection - Go courageously with the risen Christ towards Heaven which is your goal

Go courageously with the risen Christ towards Heaven...

April 29, 2021
St. Catherine of Sienna

Go courageously with the risen Christ towards Heaven, which is your goal!

Our Lady wants us to develop a relationship with Jesus, in which we actually go with Him. She wants us to follow Him so closely that we will be brought safely into the Heaven with Him. But staying close by the side of Jesus requires courage! Jesus stands as the Holy One, the Just One, the Merciful One, who will one day judge the nations. To follow Him takes courage!

St. John Henry Newman wrote a beautiful Litany of the Resurrection, which calls upon Jesus as the Risen Lord who will lead us to Heaven. I find praying it stirs up my courage. With such a Captain, what have we to fear?

Let's pray this Litany today with our hearts set upon going with the risen Christ towards Heaven.

Litany of the Resurrection
By St. John Henry Newman

Lord, have mercy.
Lord, have mercy.
Christ, have mercy.
Christ, have mercy.
Lord, have mercy.
Lord, have mercy.
Christ, hear us.
Christ, graciously hear us.

God the Father of Heaven, Have mercy on us.
God the Son, Redeemer of the world, Have mercy on us.
God the Holy Ghost, Have mercy on us.
Holy Trinity, one God, Have mercy on us.

Jesus, Redeemer of mankind, Have mercy on us.
Jesus, Conqueror of sin and Satan, Have mercy on us.
Jesus, triumphant over Death, Have mercy on us.
Jesus, the Holy and the Just, Have mercy on us.
Jesus, the Resurrection and the Life, Have mercy on us.
Jesus, the Giver of grace, Have mercy on us.
Jesus, the Judge of the world, Have mercy on us.

Who didst lay down Thy life for Thy sheep, Have mercy on us.
Who didst rise again the third day, Have mercy on us.
Who didst manifest Thyself to Thy chosen, Have mercy on us.
Visiting Thy blessed Mother, Have mercy on us.
Appearing to Magdalen while she wept, Have mercy on us.
Sending Thy angels to the holy women, Have mercy on us.
Comforting the Eleven, Have mercy on us.
Saying to them, Peace, Have mercy on us.
Breathing on them the Holy Ghost, Have mercy on us.
Confirming the faith of Thomas, Have mercy on us.
Committing Thy flock to Peter, Have mercy on us.
Speaking of the Kingdom of God, Have mercy on us.

We sinners, Beseech Thee, hear us,
That we may walk in newness of life, We beseech Thee, hear us.
That we may advance in the knowledge of Thee, We beseech Thee, hear us.
That we may grow in grace, We beseech Thee, hear us.
That we may ever have the bread of life, We beseech Thee, hear us.
That we may persevere unto the end, We beseech Thee, hear us.
That we may have confidence before Thee at Thy coming, We beseech Thee, hear us.
That we may behold Thy face with joy, We beseech Thee, hear us.
That we may be placed at Thy right hand in the judgment, We beseech Thee, hear us.
That we may have our lot with the Saints, We beseech Thee, hear us.

Lamb of God, who takest away the sins of the world, Spare us, O Lord.
Lamb of God, who takest away the sins of the world, Graciously hear us, O Lord.
Lamb of God, who takest away the sins of the world, Have mercy on us.

Christ, hear us.
Christ, graciously hear us.
Lord, have mercy.
Christ, have mercy.
Lord, have mercy.

Christ is risen, Alleluia.
He is risen indeed, and hath appeared unto Simon, Alleluia.

Let us Pray:
O God, who by Thy only begotten Son hast overcome death, and opened on us the way to eternal life, vouchsafe, we beseech Thee, so to confirm us by Thy grace, that we may in all things walk after the manner of those who have been redeemed from their sins, through the same Jesus Christ our Lord.—Amen.

Mary TV: April 28, 2021 Reflection - May your faith, little children, not waver...

May your faith, little children, not waver...

April 28, 2021

Dear Family of Mary!

Again, the April 25, 2021 message:

“Dear children! Today I am calling you to witness your faith in the colors of spring. May this be a faith of hope and courage. May your faith, little children, not waver in any situation, not even in this time of trial. Go courageously with the risen Christ towards Heaven, which is your goal. "May your faith, little children, not waver in any situation, not even in this time of trial."

Our faith cannot depend on the situations around us. We cannot measure God's love by how the world around us treats us. Just like Vicka had to choose whether to be loyal to Jesus or to the teacher, we must every day choose to be loyal to Jesus and Mary, regardless of the voices around us.

Mirjana Soldo experienced a great deal of persecution and personal ridicule during the first years of the apparitions. She describes them in her book :"My Heart Will Triumph". In Chapter 11 and 12 she shares her difficulties as a student. She was expelled from her school in Sarajevo, and no other school would accept her. She was publicly ridiculed:

From Chapter 11:

Taking a walk through the city one morning, I glanced in a corner shop and abruptly stopped when I read the day's newspaper headline: MIRJANA DRAGECEVIC, GRANDDAUGHTER OF FASCIST, CLAIMS VISIONS.

It did not even seem real. I scanned the first few lines of the article:

"Mirjana Dragecivic, a 16 year old high school student from Sarajevo, says that she see the speaks with an imaginary Virgin Mary. Her anti government activity should come as not surprise, though. Her grandfather was a fascist."

It had been forty years since my grandfather disappeared. How far would they go to discredit me? I hardly even knew what a fascist was, but suddenly everybody thought I was one. Some even accused me of being an anti-government "subversive."...

Now, as a visionary, I was suddenly an outcast. The local newspapers informed all of Sarajevo about my presence there. As the school year was about to begin, the police knocked on our door and gave my father devastating news. I had been expelled from high school.

(Mirjana Soldo. My Heart Will Triumph. 2016. P. 102. Available at www.MyHeartWillTriumph.com )

But Mirjana never once denounced her faith or lied about the apparitions. She did not waver, not even in a time of trial. And indeed it was a very severe trial for a 16 year old. But Mirjana maintained her loving disposition, and trusted in Jesus and Mary.

Our Lady is calling us to be strong in faith, strong in loyalty to Jesus and Mary. She will support us in every situation, if we pray and remain open to grace. This is the time of decision for many. Our steadfast faith may help many others to remain faithful as well.

Thank you to all the visionaries for their steadfast faith and loyalty over the past 40 years. This is a legacy of faith! Thank you, dearest Mother, for having come to us in Medjugorje. Thank you for your visionaries. And thank you for your Motherly love and protection. May our faith not waver in any situation, not even in this time of trial!!

Mary TV: April 27, 2021 Reflection - A Faith of Hope and Courage

A Faith of Hope and Courage!

April 27, 2021

Dear Family of Mary!

On April 25, 2021, Our Lady, Queen of Peace of Medjugorje gave us this message:

“Dear children! Today I am calling you to witness your faith in the colors of spring. May this be a faith of hope and courage. May your faith, little children, not waver in any situation, not even in this time of trial. Go courageously with the risen Christ towards Heaven, which is your goal. I am accompanying you on this way of holiness and am placing all of you in my Immaculate Heart. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (April 25, 2021)

Our Lady speaks about courage and hope, Heaven and holiness in this message. She encourages us to "Go courageously with the risen Christ towards Heaven!" I find her words energizing and exciting! She is leading us forward!!

I heard a wonderful example of having courage and faith in the sharing from Frano in the "Jesus Rosary" for April 21, 2021. I have transcribed it for you because it is a wonderful example of hope and courage based on faith!

Frano shared:

About the apparitions of Our Lady, I want to talk about Vicka and Jakov. Vicka and Jakov were the first to see Heaven. But before I talk about that, I would like to say a few words that probably no one knows about Vicka.

At the beginning of the apparitions, Vicka was studying in High School in Mostar. She was nearly finished with the first year. But she had to pass one more exam in the fall of 1981, after the summer in which the apparitions started. And because of the apparitions that began that summer, the visionaries were being threatened by the police all the time. They said that if they kept up these "apparitions" they would suffer when they went back to school in the fall.

That fall, Vicka went back to school and passed the exam. But the teacher told her she would not pass because of a chain with a cross on it that she wore around her neck. He said to her, "Take off the cross and you will pass! If you don't take off the cross, you won't pass!"

But Vicka did not take off the cross, and she gave up school. She said, "I have Our Lady here." (Frano Zubac, from the Jesus Rosary, April 21, 2021)

Here is the link to the video:

I find Vicka's example so very powerful!! She gave up High School to remain faithful to Jesus and Mary! And that fall she and Jakov were the only visionaries that could come to the apparitions during the week, because the others were in school.

Vicka models the kind of courage and hope in God that Our Lady is calling us to! Let's not be afraid to give up things of this world in exchange for our faithfulness to God!!

May our faith not waver in any situation, not even in this time of trial!
