Dear Family of Mary!
October 25, 2017 "Dear children! I am calling you to be prayer in this time of grace. You all have problems, afflictions, sufferings and lack of peace. May saints be models to you and an encouragement for holiness; God will be near you and you will be renewed in seeking through your personal conversion. Faith will be hope to you and joy will begin to reign in your hearts. Thank you for having responded to my call."

We find ourselves at the end of 2017! It has been a beautiful year of graces and blessings. Yesterday we spoke about gratitude, and how our witness must spring from our gratitude for all God has done for us! It is also true that we can carry the graces and blessings we have received in 2017 into 2018 only with the gift of gratitude. What a beautiful way to start a new year, with thanksgiving and trust in our loving God.

Many of us have a custom of praying for a saint to be our companion for the new year. This saint chooses us (according to Denis) to be our special friend and encourager for the year. As Our Lady says, "May saints be models to you and an encouragement for holiness..."

Mary TV is posting an updated "Saints list" on our web page as an aid to receiving our new saints in 2018. You can print this list, and cut up the squares containing saint's names. Then put them in a container, and with a "Hail Mary" draw out your new saint! It is amazing how intentional these saints turn out to be!

Here is the Saints List 2018 as a PDF that you can download: "Saints List 2018"

The list can also be found in "Prayers and Resources" in the drop down box, as "2018 Saints list." Matt is going to post it tonight, so if you don't see it, pray for Matt!

I want to thank all of you who have joined us at Mary TV this year, through our live events, our video library, by receiving the Daily Reflections and Updates, and visiting our Facebook page. We pray that you have been blessed with a closer relationship with Our Lady and her Son, Jesus. May the peace and joy of God, especially present in Medjugorje, be with you and in you in 2018. Together we may be able to spread the Kingdom of God in this poor and tired world. Together we can share Our Lady's presence with others and draw them into her embrace. Together we will help Her Heart to Triumph!

Have a Blessed and Happy New Year!

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

Mary TV: December 28, 2017 Reflection - Witness!

(c)Mateo Ivankovic 2017

December 28, 2017
The Holy Innocents

Dear Family of Mary!
"Dear children! Today I am bringing to you my Son Jesus for Him to give you His peace and blessing. I am calling all of you, little children, to live and witness the graces and the gifts which you have received.  Do not be afraid! Pray for the Holy Spirit to give you the strength to be joyful witnesses and people of peace and hope.  Thank you for having responded to my call."(December 25, 2017)

Our Lady has a mission for us. She needs us to be witnesses of the graces and gifts we have received through her intercession from her Son, Jesus. The first step on this mission is to fall on our knees and pray to truly understand what gifts we have been given and what graces have been at work in our lives. This first step is crucial. We must pray to see all that Jesus has done and is doing in us.

It seems to me that this knowledge can come from putting on the spiritual eye glasses of gratitude. Gratitude changes the way we see our lives and ourselves. Gratitude implies that who I am and what I have accomplished, all that is "me" has been given to me. I did not make myself. I did not choose my parents or my circumstances. All that I have has come from God. He is the one who made me, fashioned me in my mother's womb. He is the one who carefully prepared gifts and graces for me, the one who has done miracles of healing and love in me, so that I could grow to know Him, love Him and serve Him.

I have discovered that gratitude seems to be a major factor in the testimonies on Mary TV's "Fruit of Medjugorje" videos. Those who give witness to Our Lady of Medjugorje and her influence in their lives, are always so grateful to her for all she has done for them. Mary gives us the gifts and graces that Jesus has for us in Medjugorje. She is so kind, patient, careful and loving. And so those gifts and graces are easily received from her hands. They may be dramatic revelations of how we need to change, what sins we have committed, what wounds we have sustained, our brokenness, etc. But those revelations become true moments of grace and healing that lead to hope and joy.

Once we see what Jesus and Mary are doing to get us on the right road, to show us our future in heaven, to help us repent and choose the good, then we become filled with gratitude. We feel safe in their hands and we can live life again. This is when we can witness. Once we have been healed and strengthened by Jesus and Mary, shown the better way, we can witness to the gifts and graces we have received without fear. It is such good news!

So, let's do as Our Lady says and pray to the Holy Spirit to give us the strength to be joyful witness! Let's ask the Spirit to reveal to us all that we have been given by Jesus through Our Lady of Medjugorje, so that we can begin, in gratitude, to share the good news!

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

Annual Apparition to Jakov Colo
on December 25th, 2017
"Dear children,
Today, on this day of grace, I am calling you to ask the Lord for the gift of faith. My children, decide for God and begin to live and to believe in that what God is calling you to.
To believe, my children, means to surrender your lives into God's hands - the hands of the Lord who created you and who loves you immeasurably.
Do not be believers only in words but live and witness your faith through works and through your personal example. Speak with God as with your Father.
Open  and surrender  your hearts to Him and you will see how your hearts are changing and how your life will marvel at God's works in your life.
My children, there is no life without God and that is why, as your mother,  I intercede before, and pray to, my Son to renew your hearts and to fill your life with immeasurable love.
Thank you for having responed to my call."

Mary TV: December 23, 2017 Reflection - Christmas Novena - Day Nine

Christmas Novena Day Nine

Dear Family of Mary!

This is the ninth day of our Novena before Christmas! Again today the parish will climb Apparition Hill, praying the Rosary. We will join them live, through Mary TV!

We have made it to the ninth day!! I believe that the great gift we are being given in the novena is the gift of deep peace. Our surrender to Jesus, through Mary, will produce an unending source of peace for each one of us. Isn't this the message of Christmas! Jesus, the Lord, is born to us, a Savior. He comes to free us from our sins and lead us into the Kingdom of His Father. We have only to follow Him. May we learn to surrender, moment by moment, to our Infant Savior, and we will experience the peace of God.

December 25, 1998
(Jakov)
"Dear children! Today, on the birthday of my Son, my heart is filled with immeasurable joy, love and peace. As your mother, I desire for each of you to feel that same joy, peace and love in the heart. That is why do not be afraid to open your heart and to completely surrender yourself to Jesus, because only in this way can He enter into your heart and fill it with love, peace and joy. I bless you with my motherly blessing."

Novena of Surrender to the Will of God, Day Nine
(Jesus speaks to Fr. Ruotolo)

Pray always in readiness to surrender, and you will receive from it great peace and great rewards, even when I confer on you the grace of immolation, of repentance and of love. Then what does suffering matter? It seems impossible to you? Close your eyes and say with all your soul, "Jesus, you take care of it." Do not be afraid, I will take care of things and you will bless my name by humbling yourself. A thousand prayers cannot equal one single act of surrender, remember this well. There is no novena more effective than this: "O Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything!"

O Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything! (10 times)

Mother, I am yours now and forever. Through you and with you I always want to belong completely to Jesus.

Let us pray 7 Our Fathers, 7 Hail Marys and 7 Glory bes...

Lord Jesus, through the Intercession of Your Mother, Mary, we want pray always in readiness to surrender ourselves to You, as You ask, saying "Jesus, you take care of it". May we learn to surrender our entire selves to You, just as Our Lady did her entire life. In that way may we give you glory and honor all our days, and especially at this celebration of your Incarnation and Nativity. We are all yours through the guidance and intercession of our Mother, Mary! Amen.

SURRENDER PRAYER
God, my Father, I thank you for all that you are, and all that you do for me through your Son Jesus Christ. I praise you for my life, for your mercy and for your Eucharist. In Jesus' name, Father, I place myself entirely in your Heart. I surrender to you my whole self, my heart, my mind, my memory, my imagination, my will, my emotions, my passions, my body, my sexuality, my desire for human approval, my weaknesses, my desires, my sins.

I surrender every person in my life to you. I surrender every situation in my life to you. I surrender every relationship I am in to you. I surrender every concern I have to you. I surrender every fear I have to you. I surrender every doubt I have to you. I surrender all confusion I have to you. I surrender all sadness I am experiencing in my heart to you. I surrender all my wounds to you. I surrender all anxiety and worry I have to you. I surrender all that deceives me in my heart to you. I trust you to care for me and others in a perfectly loving way.

As I have emptied myself, and surrendered everything to you, I ask you now, Father, to fill me with your Holy Spirit and all the gifts and fruits of your Spirit. Holy Spirit you are the source of love, hope, joy, peace, patience, goodness, gentleness, tenderness, faithfulness, humility, and self-control. Purify my desires. Help me to open my heart to you. Help me to become perfectly receptive as a pure child. Help me to believe in your love for me. Help me to hope in your love. Help me to receive from the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus all grace and virtues necessary for me to become the person you created me to be. I ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, God Almighty Father.

O Most Holy Immaculate Virgin Mary. I entrust this prayer to your Heart, and ask you to press it to your wounded heart and intercede for me to your Son Jesus. Please help me to be as you are, a perfect disciple, an obedient servant, a true child of God. Amen.

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

Mary TV: December 22, 2017 Reflection - Christmas Novena - Day Eight

December 22, 2017
Christmas Novena Day Eight

Dear Family of Mary!

This is the eighth day of our Novena before Christmas! Again today the parish will climb Apparition Hill, praying the Rosary. We will join them live, through Mary TV!

In this message, Our Lady calls us to give Jesus the gift of our lives on Christmas Day. She will accept our surrender, and then offer us to Jesus, her Infant Son! This is exactly what we have been hoping for in this novena, to give ourselves to Jesus in complete and trusting surrender. She tells us the Jesus loves us and give us the grace to "live in His mercy". Living in Jesus' mercy means that we entrust ourselves so much to Him, that He can cover us with mercy every moment of our day. To live Jesus' mercy is to experience our salvation, moment by moment, given to us by our Savior in actual terms in our real, concrete lives. This is a miracle of mercy! And Jesus shows us the way, through His words to Fr. Dolindo, when He says "I promise you by my love that if you say 'You take care of it,' I will take care of it all." Let us live in Jesus' mercy!

December 25, 2012 (Jakov)
"Dear children, give the gift of your life to me and completely surrender to me so that I may help you to comprehend my motherly love and the love of my Son for you. My children, I love you immeasurably and today, in a special way, on the day of the birth of my Son, I desire to receive each of you into my heart and to give a gift of your lives to my Son. My children, Jesus loves you and gives you the grace to live in His mercy, but sin has overtaken many of your hearts and you live in darkness. Therefore, my children, do not wait, say 'no' to sin and surrender your hearts to my Son, because only in this way will you be able to live God's mercy and, with Jesus in your hearts, set out on the way of salvation."

Novena of Surrender to the Will of God, Day Eight
(Jesus speaks to Fr. Ruotolo)

Close your eyes and let yourself be carried away on the flowing current of my grace; close your eyes and do not think of the present, turning your thoughts away from the future just as you would from temptation. Repose in me, believing in my goodness, and I promise you by my love that if you say "You take care of it." I will take care of it all; I will console you, liberate you and guide you.

O Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything! (10 times)

Let us pray 7 Our Fathers, 7 Hail Marys and 7 Glory bes...

Lord Jesus, through the Intercession of Your Mother, Mary, may we learn to live these words, "I promise you by my love that if you say 'You take care of it,' I will take care of it all." We want to live your mercy, Jesus! In that way may we give you glory and honor all our days, and especially at this celebration of your Incarnation and Nativity. We are all yours through the guidance and intercession of our Mother, Mary! Amen.

Mary TV: December 21, 2017 Reflection - Christmas Novena - Day Seven

(c)Mateo Ivankovic 2016

December 21, 2017
Christmas Novena Day Seven

Dear Family of Mary!

This is the seventh day of our Novena before Christmas! Again today the parish will climb Apparition Hill, praying the Rosary. We will join them live, through Mary TV!

Today, Jesus and Our Lady both encourage us to dive into our surrender with both feet! Jesus tells us that the more we let go of our lives and give them to Him, the more miracles He will be able to do. And Our Lady tells us that she is with us to help us learn the way of surrender. She practiced this surrender her entire life. She is the best model of it. During this Christmas time as we read the Gospels, we behold her total surrender at each step of Jesus' Incarnation, Birth, Presentation and Flight into Egypt. Our Lady faced very difficult challenges but she never lost her peace. She lived her surrender perfectly, and as a result, Jesus was able to become man, live, suffer, die and rise for our salvation! The rewards of surrender are enormous.
July 25, 1988 "Dear children! Today I am calling you to a complete surrender to God. Everything you do and everything you possess give over to God so that He can take control in your life as the King of all that you possess. That way, through me, God can lead you into the depths of the spiritual life. Little children, do not be afraid, because I am with you even if you think there is no way out and that Satan is in control. I am bringing peace to you. I am your mother, the Queen of Peace. I am blessing you with the blessings of joy so that for you God may be everything in your life. Thank you for having responded to my call."
Novena of Surrender to the Will of God, Day Seven
(Jesus speaks to Fr. Ruotolo)

I perform miracles in proportion to your full surrender to me and to your not thinking of yourselves. I sow treasure troves of graces when you are in the deepest poverty. No person of reason, no thinker, has ever performed miracles, not even among the saints. He does divine works whosoever surrenders to God. So don't think about it anymore, because you mind is acute and for you it is very hard to see evil and to trust in me and to not think of yourself. Do this for all your needs, do this all of you and you will see great continual silent miracles. I will take care of things, I promise this to you.

O Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything! (10 times)

Let us pray 7 Our Fathers, 7 Hail Marys and 7 Glory bes...

Lord Jesus, through the Intercession of Your Mother, Mary, we want to dive into a total surrender to You. May we learn to surrender our entire selves to You, just as Our Lady did her entire life. In that way may we give you glory and honor all our days, and especially at this celebration of your Incarnation and Nativity. Mary TV: December 20, 2017 Reflection - Christmas Novena - Day Six

December 20, 2017
Christmas Novena Day Six

Dear Family of Mary!

This is the sixth day of our Novena before Christmas! Again today the parish will climb Apparition Hill, praying the Rosary. We will join them live, through Mary TV!

The Lord speaks to Father Dolindo today about how important it is not to try to micro-manage our own lives. There is a danger for us in becoming too concerned about our everyday affairs. We can become little kings in our little realms, directing everything. And the enemy steps in and agitates us about everything, making us lose our peace and our perspective. Our Lady also warned us about this kind of unwise behavior.

October 16, 1986 "Dear children! Today again I want to show you how much I love you, but I am sorry that I am not able to help each one to understand my love. Therefore, dear children, I am calling you to prayer and complete surrender to God, because satan wants to sift you through everyday affairs and in your life he wants to snatch the first place. Therefore, dear children, pray without ceasing! Thank you for having responded to my call."

Novena of Surrender to the Will of God, Day Six
(Jesus speaks to Fr. Ruotolo)

You are sleepless; you want to judge everything, direct everything and see to everything and you surrender to human strength, or worse- to men themselves, trusting in their intervention - this is what hinders my words and my views. Oh how much I wish from you this surrender, to help you and how I suffer when I see you so agitated! Satan tries to do exactly this: to agitate you and to remove you from my protection and to throw you into the jaws of human initiative. So, trust only in me, rest in me, surrender to me in everything.

O Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything! (10 times)

Let us pray 7 Our Fathers, 7 Hail Marys and 7 Glory bes...

Lord Jesus, through the Intercession of Your Mother, Mary, we want to stop directing everything and start praying to You to take over in our lives.   May we learn to stop judging and fretting about things and instead turn to You for help. May we learn to surrender our entire selves to You, that we may give you glory and honor all our days, and especially at this celebration of your Incarnation and Nativity. We are all yours through the guidance and intercession of our Mother, Mary! Amen.

SURRENDER PRAYER
God, my Father, I thank you for all that you are, and all that you do for me through your son Jesus Christ. I praise you for my life, for your mercy and for your Eucharist.
