The Most Holy Name of Jesus

The Most Holy Name of Jesus

Dear Family of Mary!

Today's Mass is in honor of The Most Holy Name of Jesus! What can we say about the name of Jesus? It is everything for us!! Our healing, our hope, our comfort, our courage, our strength, our light, our refuge, our deliverance, our stability, our prayer, our future, our only salvation! It is the gift of God the Father, to know the Name of His Most Beloved Son, and be able to call upon that Name in every need! Jesus! Jesus! Jesus!!!!

St. Paul wrote in his letter to the Philippians - chapter 2:5-11:

"Have this mind among yourselves, which was in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

This Name! Jesus! May we cherish it and honor it all the days of our lives!!

Here is a litany in honor of the Holy Name of Jesus:

Mary TV: January 2, 2025 Reflection - Take the Saints as an example!

Take the saints as an example!!!

January 2, 2025

Saints Basil the Great and Gregory Nazianzen

Dear Family of Mary!

Happy and Blessed New Year!! At the beginning of the New Year, it is a good time to pray and ask for a Saint to choose us as our personal companion for the year! Our Lady has told us:

October 25, 1994

"Dear children! I am with you and I rejoice today because the Most High has granted me to be with you and to teach you and to guide you on the path of perfection.

Little children, I wish you to be a beautiful bouquet of flowers which I wish to present to God for the day of All Saints.

I invite you to open yourselves and to live, taking the saints as an example. Mother Church has chosen them, that they may be an impulse for your daily life.

Thank you for having responded to my call!"

It is sobering to think that The Most High has sent Our Lady to teach us and guide us on the path of perfection! But it is a consolation that she advises us to take the saints as an example to be an impulse for our daily life! We need help!

There is a lovely tradition of choosing a Saint to be our personal companion at the beginning of the New Year. Denis and I have been doing it for a long time. I am including a list of saints below, that you may want to download. You can print it out and cut up the individual saints, and then pray and pull a saint from the pile! Or you may want to just close your eyes and put your finger down upon a page.

You can access the Saint's document by going to our webpage and clicking on the blue drop down box at the top of the home page, which says "2025 Saints List is Available - click here! Or from the home page select the subpage: Prayer - then click on 2025 Saints List!
