"Dear children, my little children..."

Dear Family of Mary!
June 25, 2026 (the 45th anniversary message!)
“Dear children! Rejoice with me because the Most High permits me to be with you, to lead you to Him Who is the Way, the Truth and the Life. Rejoice, little children, and be joyful also in difficulties and you will have the strength, because you will be aware that you are transient, and you will know to offer everything to God. That is why, do not forget: I am your Mother and I love you. Thank you for having responded to my call." (With Ecclesiastical approval)
I find it helpful sometimes to break down Our Lady's message, one phrase at a time so that I can take it in little by little. This is one of those messages. Let's try it!
"Dear children!" - Our Lady almost always greets us in this manner. "Dear children!" It is such an honor to be called her children. She definitely claims us as her children. She loves each one of us as her child. She once said to us:
August 25, 2025 "Dear children, my little children, my beloved ones; you are chosen because you have responded, you have put into practice my instructions and love God above all else..."
Our Lady sees us as her special children, even "her beloved ones," because we have responded to her call. We have listened to her and tried to follow her. She can count on us!
But let's listen to the rest of that message!
"Therefore, little children, pray with all your heart that my words may be realized. Fast, sacrifice yourselves, love out of love for God Who created you, and be, little children, my extended hands to this world that has not come to know the God of love. Thank you for having responded to my call." (With Ecclesiastical approval)
We can see that being claimed as Our Lady's children has a special onus upon it. We are claimed as her own little ones, and so we must try to live our lives with her and for her!! "Fast, sacrifice yourselves, love out of love for God Who created you..." Our Mom needs us! She needs us to offer our lives out of love for God, so that so many others may be saved.
But she dosen't stop there. She continues: "and be, little children, my extended hands to this world that has not come to know the God of love."
I guess it is no small thing that Our Lady greets us "Dear Children!" Being her children means that we are part of her family...which means we have work to do! We are called to be her "extended hands"! This is such an honor. We can help Our Mother to love her children all over the world! Thanks be to God!!!
