Dear Family of Mary!

"Dear children! Also today I call you to prayer. May prayer be for you like the seed that you will put in my heart, which I will give over to my Son Jesus for you, for the salvation of your souls. I desire, little children, for each of you to fall in love with eternal life which is your future, and for all worldly things to be a help for you to draw you closer to God the Creator. I am with you for this long because you are on the wrong path. Only with my help, little children, you will open your eyes. There are many of those who, by living my messages, comprehend that they are on the way of holiness towards eternity. Thank you for having responded to my call." (01/25/09)

During our online Rosary yesterday (Sunday, February 24, 2013) I opened randomly in my message book to this message from Our Lady. I remembered it, and I remembered how awkward I thought it was when I first heard it. Usually, I thought, it is God who puts the seeds in our hearts, not we who put seeds in His. It just didn't make sense to me. But this time, as I read it during our Rosary, I finally began to understand what Our Lady was saying. (I think!)

Our Lady was asking us to pray in answer to her call. She wanted to receive our prayers into her Heart! That alone is incredible. That Mother Mary would receive our prayers and plant them in her Heart just amazes me.

But what did she mean by comparing our prayers to seeds? It began to dawn on me that she meant that our prayers would be like little promises that we would make to Our Lady, promises to believe in her Son, promises to be faithful to Him, promises to hope in Him and to love Him. Our prayers could be the seeds of promise that we give to Mother Mary, who would nurture them and help them start to grow. Then she would give the little sprouts to her Son, Jesus, so that those promises could be safely kept in the very good soil of His Heart and where they could grow into the reality of our salvation. Our small prayers of love and desire for Jesus could become our link with Him, the bonding that we need to be saved.

This made me very happy. Indeed, our prayers bond us to Jesus and Mary. And in that bond of love and faithfulness, we are being given another gift. It is the gift of "falling in love with eternal life!" What does that mean? It means we are going to truly believe in Heaven, and desire it in such a way that even life on earth will be given value only in terms of it. Our world and all that is in it will be seen as merely the doorway to eternity. And we will live in this world with our eyes firmly fixed on the next. How different our lives would be if this was really the case for us!

Indeed, Our Lady tells us that many are on the wrong path. She is with us to help us open our eyes to the true path of life, the way of holiness. Through prayer, through living her messages, we will be shown the right path, the path to Heaven. Little prayers, little promises, made every day will draw us towards the right path. Mary will show us the way.

I want my prayers to be little seeds of love planted in the Hearts of Jesus and Mary. I want to be bonded to them for all eternity. I want my promises to love and serve them to come true. I want to be found in Heaven with them for all eternity. And I want this for all of you too!!!!

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

PS. We continue to pray for the Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, as he nears the end of his papacy. The waters around Holy Mother Church may get very rough in the days ahead, but our prayers joined to those of Our Lady will help to steady the ship. Pray, pray, pray!!!

PPS. Tonight is a wonderful "Fruit of Medjugorje" featuring Milona Von Habsburg de Ramberes. 8:00 pm EST!!! www.marytv.tv
