Dear Family of Mary!

Dear children! You who are striving to offer every day of your life to my Son, you who are trying to live with Him, you who are praying and sacrificing - you are hope in this peaceless world. You are rays of the light of my Son, a living gospel, and you are my beloved apostles of love. My Son is with you. He is with those who think of Him - those who pray. But in the same way, He is patiently waiting for those who do not know Him. Therefore, you, apostles of my love, pray with the heart and with your works show the love of my Son. This is the only hope for you, and this is also the only way to eternal life. I, as a mother, I am here with you. Your prayers directed to me are the most beautiful roses of love for me. I cannot but be where I sense the scent of roses. There is hope. Thank you. (February 2, 2017)

"You who are striving to offer every day of your life to my Son..."
Our Lady gives us a beautiful description of how we can become hope for this peaceless world. We should not pass over this description lightly. We want to be sure we are indeed her apostles of love! And so we might examine how we can offer every day of our life to Jesus.

An offering is an intentional act, something that is explicit and straightforward. If we are to offer every day of our life to Jesus, we have to be clear about it each day! And a good way to start is to say the Morning Offering. First thing when we wake, we can pray a prayer in which we offer to Jesus everything about the day we will be living, for His glory and for our good. It is really easy to forget to do this! I know, because I forget. That is why I am glad Our Lady brought it up!

I want to suggest a couple of different morning offering prayers. There are many different ones. If we choose one to say, and really practice it each morning somehow, as a part of our morning routine, I think it will have a good effect on our whole day.

Here are some Morning Offering prayers:

The Daily Offering to the Immaculate Heart of Mary
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys, and suffering of this day in union with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world. I offer them for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart: the salvation of souls, reparation for sins, the reunion of all Christians; I offer them for the intentions of our Bishops and of all Apostles of Prayer and in particular for those recommended by our Holy Father this month.

A Morning Offering
Lord Jesus Christ, in union with that divine intention with which You offered to God Your praises on earth through Your most Sacred Heart, and now offer them in the Sacrament of the Eucharist everywhere even to the end of time, I most gladly offer You throughout this entire day, all my thoughts and intentions, all my affections and desires, all my words and deeds, in imitation of the most holy heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary Immaculate. Amen.

The Morning Offering of St. Therese of Lisieux
Lord Jesus, I unite myself to Your perpetual, unceasing, universal Sacrifice. I offer myself to You every day of my life and every moment of every day, according to Your most holy and adorable Will. Since You have been the Victim of my salvation, I wish to be the victim of Your love. Accept my desire, take my offering, and graciously hear my prayer. Let me live for love of You; let me die for love of You; let my last heartbeat be an act of perfect love.

Children's Daily Offering Prayer
For love of me you came to earth;
You gave your life for me.
So every day you give me now
I give back happily.
Take all my laughter, all my tears,
Each thought, each word, each deed,
And let them be my all-day prayer
To help all those in need.

May we be those who offer every day of our life to Jesus!

In Jesus, Mary and Joseph!
