Dear friends, we have now, live, Marija from Medjugorje reporting the message of the Queen of Peace today the 25 October 2022.
Hi Marija!
Hello Father Livio!
I greet with my heart all listeners of Radio Maria. Today, like every 25th of the month, Our Lady gave us the following message:
“Dear children! The Most High permits me to be with you, and to be joy for you and the way in hope, because mankind has decided for death. That is why He sent me to keep instructing you that without God you do not have a future. Little children, be instruments of love for all those who have not come to know the God of love. Witness joyfully your faith and do not lose hope in a change of the human heart. I am with you and am blessing you with my motherly blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call.” (October 25, 2022)
F.L. It is a very demanding message, Marija!
M. Father Livio, this message seems to me very beautiful and as you say very demanding but also a message of hope and joy as the words of Our Lady instruct us: "The Most High permits me to be with you", thanking God "to be the way in hope because mankind has decided for death. That is why He sent me to keep instructing you that without God you do not have a future." Humanity is at a crossroads, it no longer loves life, it has decided for death. How many times has Our Lady told us: "Be love, be prayer and hope, be my extended hands" that we also see in this message by saying: “stay close to God, He is calling us to be His instruments.
If we have experienced God’s Love in our life, we too become Love for those who have not yet known him. I always remember a joke told by a bishop friend of mine of Italian origin who lives in Albania. He said one day during a retreat here in Medjugorje that a non-Christian who had no knowledge of God but wanted to know about Him. The way in which they presented the Sorrowful Madonna pierced by the seven swords, Jesus who died on the Cross and finally St. Joseph, elderly almost unable to be capable of thinking and acting, was a disaster, so much so as to give him a completely distorted idea of the Holy Family.
Our Lady, on the other hand, is helping us to be tools like She is for all those who have not come to know the God of love. She is telling us to return to God who is with us, He is the God of joy, of love, of hope, the God of Peace, especially where in so many parts of the world in addition to war, they are spreading death with these new ideologies to such an extent that we no longer know who we are, where we come from and where we must go. Churches are empty because we Christians are afraid, we do not love and no longer adore Jesus above everything for which she is inviting us to “Witness joyfully your faith and do not lose hope in a change of the human heart.
As for you Father Livio with Radio Maria, we also here in Medjugorje testify in many ways. Every day we see the wonderful change of the heart of so many pilgrims who come from all over the world and who abandon sin. They experience this miracle of healing, falling in love with God so much that they even receive the holy call to priesthood. Through the testimony of those who experienced this radical change, baptized Christian people who have become lukewarm, convert.
Through listening to the radio and with the help of the modern means of communication, many pilgrims begin to pray, to deepen their wonderful faith through the reading of Sacred Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church! Their hearts grow sensitive, they begin to discern good from evil. They understand that only Jesus like no other in the world in the history of humanity could die for us, giving us Eternal Life.
During these forty-two years of Our Lady’s apparitions, Our Lady has come from the future, from Heaven, and my heart yearns with a great desire to reach Her. If I had followed my instinct to never let her go when at first, She took us to visit those places, I would never have returned here on this earth. Today earthly life and material things no longer meet my needs that have changed with the help of prayer. The desire to cut the old habits which have been rooted inside for so long, grows. For example, living only for things like an obsession for sports, which I do not understand because I have never had it. I am not saying that it is a bad habit. You could for instance combine a long walk (that alone would not make sense) with the intention of turning it into a pilgrimage, even making a sacrifice by praying for Peace in the world. All this is always possible with the help of God.
F.L. Marija I wanted to say: You’d better stay with us for a long time because you still have a lot to do!
M. We have things to do as long as God allows us, and we are open to His Will. I believe that God loves us so much that He knows what is best for us! We sometimes do not understand why we do not receive the graces we have requested. But in the end, we realize it was because we had to obtain from God an even bigger and greater grace just right for us.
F.L. True it is just like that.
M. If we start to see through God’s eyes, we realize that He created us in His image, and we are the most precious thing He could have done. We must cultivate the desire to discover God who can lead us in our journey from “This valley of tears” to the discovery Him in Eternal Life.
Many will tell me that it is easy for me, and I am facilitated because I see Our Lady every day and after the apparition my eyes light up. This is like having a taste of Paradise that pierces our hearts, our lives. We can also see it in cloistered nuns who for example, after praying their faces imbued with a supernatural beauty that reflects their souls.
Immediately after last Saturday's apparition, in the presence of a large group of pilgrims, Our Lady invited us to be holy and not only in great things but starting with the small and daily ones trying to imitate Her and God in wanting us to be more and more perfect. The gifts we have received in addition to the physical ones also recognized by scientists as ‘perfect human machines’ are the result of His Love and when He created our progenitors, He was so much pleased with His ‘masterpiece of beauty’ that He gave us His own Son who died on the Cross for us.
F.L. Marija, can I ask you a question? In the statement that ‘mankind has decided for death’ can we also understand it as spiritual death?
M. I believe that it is understood as spiritual death because too many people today in the world and in the wealthy part of Europe live without their own spirit anymore. When we lack spirit, we are mostly like walking dead. I believe that the Holy Spirit is missing in the hearts of this drifting mankind, through wars, depressions, going towards all these ideologies of selfishness and without building a future through the family, the children who today are considered more like a burden than a real treasure. Our Lady in several messages has invited us not to be afraid to have a large family and put our trust and rely more on God.
F.L. Marija, for me one of the most encouraging words that I have noticed in this message is this possibility that hearts can change. This is precisely a miracle that happens continuously in so many hearts that from hearts of stone they become hearts full of God's love. This miracle must be achieved through prayer, which is to say, praying for hearts to open.
M. Exactly, Father Livio, here in Medjugorje thank God we have the Apparition Hill, the Chapel of Adoration, the Hill of the Cross that help us to take this message, place it in our hearts, read it and read it over and over. Right now it is too early to even be able to meditate it. Our Lady spoke of faith, hope, and change of the human heart that so often happens. She assures us that, with the permission of the Most High, She is still with us, She blesses us with Her maternal blessing, She does not abandon us, and She is guiding us and encouraging us along our path, ‘and to be joy and the way in hope.’ She calls us to be her instruments of peace, joy and Love and I can repeat it with all my heart and invoke it with the help of prayer. She has taught us to turn our lives into a living prayer by choosing the path of sanctification exactly where we are; in our families, in our workplace, in our countries and in our parishes where we can find so much to do.
F.L. Marija, I wanted to ask you that this time exceptionally in the message at the end of October our Lady did not speak either of the Saints or the deceased, whereas she always gave us beautiful words about Saints, about the fact that life passes quickly, and we must pray for the souls in purgatory. In short, this is a message that we must remember during these holidays which are now close.
M. I too was impressed by this fact but today was a special day because our Lady instead of referring to the imminent feasts of the Saints and the deceased, as She did almost every time during these past years, I think she wanted to speak straight to the several directors of Radio Maria Europe and from the rest of the world who were present at the apparition tonight. Do you agree with this Father Livio?
F.L. Yes, yes for sure
M. On one hand this message is awesome and on the other one is very challenging as we are all called to be witnesses more and more committed to faith, hope and in the radical change of our hearts and through us of so many other hearts that are far away.
F.L. A large group of directors has come here, but there are still many who shall have to come, so let us pray that this whole Radio station becomes, and though it is already for the truth, it should be really all at the service of our Queen of Peace.
M. Thank God the Lord is using so many hearts and we deeply believe that this is a great gift of Our Lady as we prayed from the beginning when we dreamed of being able to touch every corner of the Earth with Her messages. The priests testified to me that they are walking and working very intensely and that every Radio Maria has become not only an imposing tree but many trees with numerous fruits in the dioceses of many parts of the world.
F.L. Well, all together, they too have received a special blessing, a maternal blessing there.
M. Yes, yes, thank God.
F.L. Well thank you Marija do you want to say anything more about the souls of purgatory and the prayers for the deceased?
M. In order to get ready for the next holidays we are preparing and decorating the tombs of our loved ones with lights and candles, arranging in the best way not only the outward but above all Our Lady has always reminded us of and invited us to help the souls in purgatory through our prayers so that they could be carried into Paradise as soon as possible. Let us remember that in these days our prayers and our sacrifices, including the Holy Masses for the intentions of our deceased are a valid help and let us thank God that many people like us have not forgotten to do so.
F.L. Thank you Marija for these wonderful words you said to us as an encouragement for us and for the directors of Radio Maria. Now let us end with the prayer:
