Be my hands of peace and prayer... February 28, 2025 Dear Family of Mary! The February 25, 2025 Message from Our Lady of Medjugorje: “Dear children, May this springtime be an encouragement for personal conversion for you, that with your lives you may pray and love God above all, for all those who are in need. Little children, be my hands of peace and prayer; be love for all those who do not love, do not pray and do not want peace. Thank you for having responded to my call." Our Lady calls us to pray and love God above all!! This is our first and only call! But this kind of prayer and love will produce many fruits. As we love God above all, we will begin to see our neighbors as God sees them. We are all in total need of God. But those who have not found the Lord are subject to all kinds of sorrows, such as hatred, injury, doubt, despair, darkness, sadness, and so much more. We can point the way to joy! We can pray for the peace that only God can give to fall on our neighbors. Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi (Prayer for Peace) Lord, make me an instrument of your peace: where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love. Pray and love God above all... February 27, 2025 Dear Family of Mary! The February 25, 2025 Message from Our Lady of Medjugorje: “Dear children, May this springtime be an encouragement for personal conversion for you, that with your lives you may pray and love God above all, for all those who are in need. (With Ecclesiastical approval) In her message, Our Lady calls us to live for God alone, by putting God first and always being mindful of God! She wants us to always hope in the Lord, knowing that He is our only salvation! And if we do live in that way, many others will benefit from our lives. Let us pray with this Psalm from our hearts! Psalm 25:1-11 To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul. I trust you, let me not be disappointed; do not let my enemies triumph. Those who hope in you shall not be disappointed, but only those who wantonly break faith. Lord, make me know your ways. Lord, teach me your paths. Make me walk in your truth, and teach me: for you are God my savior. In you I hope all day long because of your goodness, O Lord. Remember your mercy, Lord, and the love you have shown from of old. Do not remember the sins of my youth. In your love remember me. The Lord is good and upright. Mary TV: February 21, 2025 Reflection - The Church declares a Plenary Indulgence!

 

For many of us who cannot go to Medjugorje for the Jubilee Year, we can obtain the Plenary Indulgence at home. Remember: "An indulgence is a remission before God of the temporal punishment due to sins whose guilt has already been forgiven, which the faithful Christian who is duly disposed gains under certain prescribed conditions through the action of the Church which, as the minister of redemption, dispenses and applies with authority the treasury of the satisfactions of Christ and the saints". Catechism of the Catholic Church (n. 1471)

'The elderly, the infirm, and all those who for serious reasons cannot leave their homes, can likewise obtain the Plenary Indulgence, having conceived the intention of detachment from any sin and with the intention of fulfilling, as soon as they are able, the three usual conditions, if they spiritually unite themselves to the jubilee celebrations, offering their prayers, sufferings, or the inconveniences of their own lives to the merciful God.'

The Vatican has issued a decree which declares a plenary indulgence for those who go to Medjugorje, under the usual conditions that the Church provides!! This wonderful grace has been opened up to pilgrims going to Medjugorje throughout the Jubilee Year! Here is the decree from the Medjugorje Parish Website: Decree on Plenary Indulgence in Medjugorje date: 20.02.2025. DECREE THE APOSTOLIC PENITENTIARY, with the purpose of increasing the piety of the faithful and the salvation of souls, by virtue of the faculties bestowed upon him in a most special way by our Most Holy Father in Christ Our Lord, POPE FRANCIS, BY DIVINE PROVIDENCE, attentively considering the recent petitions presented by His Excellency ALDO CAVALLI, Titular Archbishop of Vibo, Apostolic Visitor for the Parish of Saint James the Apostle in Medjugorje, of the Diocese of Mostar-Duvno, graciously grants a PLENARY INDULGENCE from the treasury of the Church's heavenly mercy, under the usual conditions (sacramental Confession, Eucharistic Communion, and prayer for the intentions of the Supreme Pontiff), to the faithful who are truly penitent and moved by charity, which they can obtain throughout the Ordinary JUBILEE YEAR OF 2025, and which they can also use as a prayer for the souls of the faithful in purgatory if they make a pilgrimage to the PARISH CHURCH OF ST. JAMES THE APOSTLE IN MEDJUGORJE and devoutly participate in the Jubilee rites there or at least dedicate appropriate time to pious prayers, including the Lord's Prayer, the Creed and the invocations of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
