Do not forget, little children, to read Sacred Scripture. September 30, 2025 St. Jerome Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady's September 25, 2025 Message: "Dear Children! May this time for you be a time of prayer for peace. Thank you for having responded to my call." (With Ecclesial Approval) May we continue to pray for peace, nonstop!!! Today is the feast day of St. Jerome, who translated the Scriptures into the Latin Vulgate. Thank you, dear Saint Jerome, for opening up the Bible to all of us!! Our Lady has asked us many times to read the Sacred Scriptures. We need the Word of God in our minds, our memories and our hearts. The Bible reveals to us the Heart of our God! Let Our Lady's advice encourage us to read the Bible and to live what we receive from this Sacred Book! Here are five messages to ponder as we pray our Rosary: September 25, 1999 "Dear children! Today again I call you to become carriers of my peace. In a special way, now when it is being said that God is far away, He has truly never been nearer to you. I call you to renew prayer in your families by reading the Sacred Scripture and to experience joy in meeting with God who infinitely loves His creatures. Thank you for having responded to my call." April 25, 2005 "Dear children! Also today, I call you to renew prayer in your families. By prayer and the reading of Sacred Scripture, may the Holy Spirit, who will renew you, enter into your families. In this way, you will become teachers of the faith in your family. By prayer and your love, the world will set out on a better way and love will begin to rule in the world. Thank you for having responded to my call." January 25, 2006 "Dear children! Also today I call you to be carriers of the Gospel in your families. Do not forget, little children, to read Sacred Scripture. Put it in a visible place and witness with your life that you believe and live the Word of God. I am close to you with my love and intercede before my Son for each of you. Thank you for having responded to my call." January 25, 2007 "Dear children! Put Sacred Scripture in a visible place in your family and read it. In this way, you will come to know prayer with the heart and your thoughts will be on God. Do not forget that you are passing like a flower in a field, which is visible from afar but disappears in a moment. Little children, leave a sign of goodness and love wherever you pass and God will bless you with an abundance of His blessing. Thank you for having responded to my call. June 25, 2024 "Dear children! I rejoice with you and thank God for permitting me to be with you, to lead you and love you. Little children, peace is in danger and the family is under attack. I am calling you, little children: return to prayer in the family. Put Sacred Scripture in a visible place and read it every day. Love God above all that it may be good for you on earth. Thank you for having responded to my call." Notice how Our Lady associates the reading of the Sacred Scriptures with the family!!! She assumes that it is in the family that we should read the Scripture!! The Bible is best read together in the family, because all the stories and teachings that are recorded there make up our Christian identity! Do we want our children to grow into strong Christian adults? Then we must read the Bible to them and discuss it every day!! In doing so, we all become better Christians at the same time!! May this time for you be a time of prayer for peace. September 29, 2025 Dear Family of Mary! Our Lady's September 25, 2025 Message: "Dear Children! May this time for you be a time of prayer for peace. Thank you for having responded to my call." (With Ecclesial Approval) As we attempt to make this time a time of prayer for peace, let's remember the advice Our Lady has given us. First, she has called us to pray the Rosary: August 8, 1985 "Dear children! Today I call you especially now to advance against satan by means of prayer. Satan wants to work still more now that you know he is at work. Dear children, put on the armor for battle and with the Rosary in your hand defeat him! Thank you for having responded to my call." We can pray the Rosary anywhere and at any time! Begin to pray it nonstop! Our Rosaries are powerful. Let's not stop praying the Rosary!! Second, we can pray the Medjugorje Chaplet for Peace. It is a prayer that is prayed directly after Evening Mass in Medjugorje every day. Our Lady asked the parish to pray this prayer in 1981 and it has been prayed ever since! Medjugorje Peace Chaplet Apostles’ Creed I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son Our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into Hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and life everlasting. [Pray the following prayers 7 times] Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death. Amen. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. And finally, here is one of my favorite prayers for peace! Prayer of St. Francis of Assisi (Prayer for Peace) Lord, make me an instrument of your peace: where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy. O divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Let's beef up our prayers for peace!! We can do it!!! Stay with us! September 23, 2025 St. Pius of Pietrelcina Dear Family of Mary! Today is the Memorial of St. Pius of Pietrelcina! Our dear Padre Pio!! He carried in his body the wounds of the Crucified Savior for over 50 years! He suffered for us, and fought the devil every day for us. His love was so great, and his patience so powerful! But the secret to his victory over all his sufferings was his immense love for Jesus. I am at a loss to say more! He had a love for Jesus that cannot be fathomed. And that love empowered him to do great deeds in the midst of his suffering. Padre Pio wrote the prayer below, in which he begged Jesus to never leave him. Without Jesus, he would not have been able to endure even one day of his suffering. But with Jesus, all things were possible. May Padre Pio's prayer asking Jesus to stay with him be a help for us when we feel weak and need Jesus too! Stay with me Lord! Stay with me, Lord, for it is necessary to have You present so that I do not forget You. You know how easily I abandon You. Stay with me, Lord, because I am weak and I need Your strength, that I may not fall so often. Stay with me, Lord, for You are my life, and without You, I am without fervor. Stay with me, Lord, for You are my light, and without You, I am in darkness. Stay with me, Lord, to show me Your will. Stay with me, Lord, so that I hear Your voice and follow You. Stay with me, Lord, for I desire to love You very much, and always be in Your company. Stay with me, Lord, if You wish me to be faithful to You. Stay with me, Lord, for as poor as my soul is, I want it to be a place of consolation for You, a nest of love. Stay with me, Jesus, for it is getting late and the day is coming to a close, and life passes; death, judgment, eternity approaches. It is necessary to renew my strength, so that I will not stop along the way and for that, I need You. It is getting late and death approaches, I fear the darkness, the temptations, the dryness, the cross, the sorrows. O how I need You, my Jesus, in this night of exile! Stay with me tonight, Jesus, in life with all its dangers. I need You. Let me recognize You as Your disciples did at the breaking of the bread, so that the Eucharistic Communion be the Light which disperses the darkness, the force which sustains me, the unique joy of my heart. Stay with me, Lord, because at the hour of my death, I want to remain united to You, if not by communion, at least by grace and love. Stay with me, Jesus, I do not ask for divine consolation, because I do not merit it, but the gift of Your Presence, oh yes, I ask this of You! Stay with me, Lord, for it is You alone I look for, Your Love, Your Grace, Your Will, Your Heart, Your Spirit, because I love You and ask no other reward but to love You more and more. With a firm love, I will love You with all my heart while on earth and continue to love You perfectly during all eternity. Amen. There are times when we also ask Our Lady to stay with us! We need her so much! She gave us this message, expressing her need for us to help her, and assuring us that God had sent her to stay with us! February 25, 1995 "Dear children! Today I invite you to become missionaries of my messages, which I am giving here through this place that is dear to me. God has allowed me to stay this long with you and therefore, little children, I invite you to live with love the messages I give and to transmit them to the whole world, so that a river of love flows to people who are full of hatred and without peace. I invite you, little children, to become peace where there is no peace and light where there is darkness, so that each heart accepts the light and the way of salvation.
