The Lord is gracious and merciful...
September 9, 2025
St. Peter Claver
Dear Family of Mary!
In the responsorial psalm for Holy Mass today, we hear:
Psalm 145: 8-9
The Lord is gracious and merciful,
Slow to anger and of great kindness.
The Lord is good to all
and compassionate toward all his works...
It touches me so that God is loving and merciful!
He loves us with His powerful Love. We can often forget this love that
He holds in His Heart for us. How would we change if we truly
understood the Merciful Love of the Father?
Our Lady speaks of this Love in her messages. She
wants us to begin to understand it! Let her words sink deeply into our
hearts:

"Dear
children! This is the day that the Lord gave me to give Him thanks for
each of you, for those who have converted and have accepted my messages
and have set out on the way of conversion and holiness. Rejoice, little
children, because God is merciful and loves you all with His
immeasurable love and leads you to the way of salvation through my
coming here. I love you all and give you my Son that He may give you
peace. Thank you for having responded to my call."

"Dear
children! I am with you in the name of the greatest Love, in the name
of dear God, who has come close to you through my Son and has shown you
real love. I desire to lead you on the way of God. I desire to teach you
real love so that others may see it in you, that you may see it in
others, that you may be a brother to them and that others may see a
merciful brother in you. My children do not be afraid to open your
hearts to me. With motherly love, I will show you what I expect of each
of you, what I expect of my apostles. Set out with me. Thank you."

"Dear
children, by the merciful love of God, I am with you. That is why, as a
mother, I am calling you to believe in love - the love that is union
with my Son. With love you help others to open their hearts to come to
know my Son and to come to love Him. My children, love makes it for my
Son to illuminate your hearts with His grace, to grow in you and to give
you peace. My children, if you live love, if you live my Son, you will
have peace and you will be happy. In love is victory. Thank you."
May the Mercy of God be poured out upon us all, as we turn our hearts to Him!
In Jesus, Mary and Joseph,
