Dear Family of Mary!

"Dear children! Nature is awakening and on the trees the first buds are seen which will bring most beautiful flowers and fruit. I desire that you also, little children, work on your conversion and that you be those who witness with their life, so that your example may be a sign and an incentive for conversion to others. I am with you and before my Son Jesus I intercede for your conversion. Thank you for having responded to my call."  (February 25, 2011)

Our Lady tells us:  "I am with you and before my Son Jesus I intercede for your conversion."  She has often told us this.  She is with us through her apparitions in Medjugorje in a real, physical way, but she is with us also in a spiritual way.  She is in heaven, at the throne of God, where she continues to pray and intercede for us.  Through her love for us and her mother's heart, she is continually present to us in spirit, thinking of us and praying for us.

In the Catechism of the Catholic Church her role as intercessor is described this way:

"Her [The Virgin Mary's] role in relation to the Church and to all humanity goes still further.  'In a wholly singular way she cooperated by her obedience, faith, hope, and burning charity in the Savior's work of restoring supernatural life to souls.  For this reason she is a mother to us in the order of grace.' (Lumen Gentium 61)

"This motherhood of Mary in the order of grace continues uninterruptedly from the consent which she loyally gave at the Annunciation and which she sustained without wavering beneath the cross, until the eternal fulfillment of all the elect.  Taken up to heaven she did not lay aside this saving office but by her manifold intercession continues to bring us the gifts of eternal salvation... Therefore the Blessed Virgin is invoked in the Church under the titles of Advocate, Helper, Benefactress, and Mediatrix. (Lumen Gentium 62)" (CCC  N.968-969)

Our Lady is our Advocate.  Now that she is in heaven, she continues "the saving office...by her manifold intercession."  She prays for us constantly.  And we can rely on her intercession to be effective because she is completely led by the Holy Spirit in every prayer.  Her prayers are totally "in sync" with the desires of the Lord.  She will pray for what God wants to do in our lives.  That is perfect intercession.  We will receive exactly what we need.

We should sleep in peace at night knowing that we have the perfect Intercessor in heaven.  Our Lady is asking for all that we need, especially for the graces of conversion.  Our job is to receive the graces she is obtaining for us in her intercession.  That means we need to listen to her and follow her messages, because they are given to show us how to receive those graces. Her messages show us the way to receive the graces we need.  Prayer, fasting, peace, the Bible, the Sacraments, reconciliation...these are the ways to receive the graces Our Lady has obtained for us.

Thank you, dearest Mother, for interceding for us, for being our Mother in Heaven.  We want all the graces you have obtained for us!  Help us to receive them!

In Jesus and Mary!
