The Novena to the Holy Spirit, Day 4
Dear Family of Mary!
Today is Day 4 of our Novena to the Holy Spirit!!
Here is Our Lady's most recent message to us which is perfectly meant for this novena:
The April 25, 2026 Message from Our Lady, Queen of Peace
"Dear children, I am praying for you and encourage you to a new life, a life in joy and prayer. May the Holy Spirit fill you, little children, with joy so that you may be like a spring of pure and drinkable water; that you, little children, may be, in God and with God, missionaries of love and peace. Your life is short here on earth and that is why I am with you to lead you towards Heaven. Thank you for having responded to my call." (With ecclesiastical approval)
Our Lady knows what is most important for us! We need the Holy Spirit!!!
Let us pray our Novena to the Holy Spirit:
Prayer for the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit
Christ Jesus, before ascending into heaven,
You promised to send the Holy Spirit
to Your apostles and disciples.
Grant that the same Spirit may perfect in our lives
the work of Your grace and love.
Grant us the Spirit of Fear of the Lord
that we may be filled
with a loving reverence toward You;
The Spirit of Piety
that we may find peace and fulfillment
in the service of God while serving others;
The Spirit of Fortitude
that we may bear our cross with You
and, with courage, overcome the obstacles
that interfere with our salvation;
The Spirit of Knowledge
that we may know You
and know ourselves and grow in holiness;
The Spirit of Understanding
to enlighten our minds
with the light of Your truth;
The Spirit of Counsel
that we may choose the surest way
of doing Your will,
seeking first the Kingdom;
The Spirit of Wisdom
that we may aspire
to the things that last forever;
And teach us to be Your faithful disciples
and animate us in every way with Your Spirit.
Amen.
Day 4 (Monday, 7th Week of Easter)
The Dignity of the Christian
Thou, in toil art comfort sweet;
Pleasant coolness in the heat;
Solace in the midst of woe.
Come, O Blessed Spirit of Fortitude,
uphold my soul in time of trouble and adversity.
O, Divine Trinity,
grant that we may be strengthened
to see in ourselves and each other
the dignity that is ours as temples of Your Holy Spirit,
to be loved by one another as each of us is loved by Jesus.
We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Here is a message from Our Lady:
December 25, 2004
"Dear children!
With great joy, also today
I carry my Son Jesus in my arms to you;
He blesses you and calls you to peace.
Pray, little children,
and be courageous witnesses of Good News
in every situation.
Only in this way will God bless you
and give you everything you ask of Him in faith.
I am with you as long as the Almighty permits me.
I intercede for each of you with great love.
Thank you for having responded to my call."
It is so true that we need fortitude!! Every day we need to stand for the truth and love with all our hearts! It takes courage and strength to do so! It takes Fortitude!
Let us pray the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary!
