Remain in Me!!

Dear Family of Mary!
The April 25, 2026 Message from Our Lady, Queen of Peace
"Dear
children, I am praying for you and encourage you to a new life, a life
in joy and prayer. May the Holy Spirit fill you, little children, with
joy so that you may be like a spring of pure and drinkable water; that
you, little children, may be, in God and with God, missionaries of love
and peace. Your life is short here on earth and that is why I am with
you to lead you towards Heaven. Thank you for having responded to my
call." (With ecclesiastical approval)
In our Gospel for today, Jesus gives us this advice:
"Remain in me, as I
remain in you. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it
remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me. I am
the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will
bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing..." John 15: 4-5
These words are both comforting and challenging.
Jesus is the vine. All nourishment and grace come through Him. We are
not used to this kind of dependence. We are used to being free agents,
who buy and sell, learn and teach, think and act, seemingly by our own
strength and power. We are not used to the idea that we are dependent.
We envision our lives on our own terms and power.
But how foolish this is. We actually cannot live a
day without the help of others, and especially the providence of the
Good Lord. Temporal existence is impossible without God, but eternal
life is even more out of our hands. We have no power to save ourselves.
We are helpless little creatures.
And so, Jesus calls us to remain in Him. He offers to us
a constant source of support and life-giving aid. If we remain in
Jesus, we have life! Jesus alone can nurture us from birth to death to
eternal life. He is doing it all the time, though we don't realize it.
And so Our Lady tells us:
"May
the Holy Spirit fill you, little children, with joy so that you may be
like a spring of pure and drinkable water; that you, little children,
may be, in God and with God, missionaries of love and peace."
She calls us to be
filled with the Holy Spirit! The Holy Spirit unites us to Jesus and the
Father in such a way that we can be nourished by them continually. We
actually can be so filled that we become like a spring of pure and
drinkable water for others! In
that way, Jesus can feed and strengthen others through us! This
infilling of grace enables us to be missionaries of love and peace. Why?
Because God can flow through us to all those who are starving for His
love and grace.
We can live in God
and with God!! We can be united with the Lord in such a way that not
only are we fed, but all those we encounter can be fed as well. This is
the miracle that Jesus longs to do through us each day. As we stay in
Him, remain in Him, we will overflow with grace for all those we meet!
God bless us all, and may Jesus and Mary be always with us!!
